Chris, Amy, Tails, Cream, Cheese, Sonic, Y/n, and Chuck were in the top of Chris's garage.

Chris: So this Chaos Control create a warp in time and space, and that's how you guys ended up here. Hmm, I think I understand that much. But I still don't understand these Chaos Emeralds you guys are talking about.

Tails: You've never heard of the Chaos Emeralds? Boy, you really have a lot to learn, don't you?

Amy: Each Chaos Emerald is filled with a magical power. So you can imagine what would happen if you found all seven of them.

Chuck: But no one has ever found all seven Emeralds, and now, it's highly improbable that anyone ever will find them.

Cream: Why is that?

Chuck: Well, you see, Cream, every one of the precious Chaos Emeralds has disappeared.

Sonic: That doesn't mean they're gone for good.

Everyone except Sonic: Huh?

Sonic: Any time the seven Chaos Emeralds come together in one place, they scatter and disappear all over again.

Chris: Then that means they're all still out there someplace.

Sonic: That's right.

Tails: Only, we don't have any way of knowing where. If they're on this planet, that's good, but if they're still on the planet we came from, we may never get home.

Chris: Listen, if the Emeralds are somewhere on this planet, and if we can find some way to locate them all, maybe we'll be able to reverse that time warp.

Y/n: Well, I could modify those goggles I have to help track them.

Cream: You can do that?

Y/n: Yeah, upgrading the goggles function is the easy part, but if we're talking about giving them the ability to sense Chaos Emeralds that's the tricky part.

Tails: Oh, and why would we trust you?

Y/n: You don't have a choice, unless you want to be stuck on this planet forever.

Tails: Err. He's right.

Chris: Why shouldn't we trust him?

Amy: Well, he did murder two people yesterday and- Wait, we helped, we're accomplices. Oh Chaos!

Y/n: Don't be a baby, uh.

Sonic: Oh yeah, we never properly introduced you two.

Tails: Y/n, this is Amy Rose. Amy, this is Y/n the Hedgehog.

Amy: The Hedgehog? Are you Sonic's brother or something?

Y/n: No, we literally just met each other a few days ago.

Sonic: Yeah, he's not my brother.

Amy: Well, regardless (extends hand) it's nice to meet you.

Y/n just stood there with his arms crossed.

Amy: Not a handshake guy, are you?

Y/n: Nor am I a friend guy, but nobody here can seem to pick up on that.

Sonic: Isn't Knuckles your friend? When you two met each other you sure acted like you knew each other before.

Y/n: We are acquaintances, not friends, big difference.

Sonic: Whatever you say.

Y/n: Now if you'll excuse me, I need to get to work on those goggles. You got any tools I could use, Chuck?

Chuck was asleep.

Y/n: Great, the old fool is cocked out. Guess I'll have to modify those goggles myself.

He walked out.

Cream: I don't know if this is important, but the night we got sent here Y/n came into Eggman's Fortress to take the Chaos Emeralds.

Amy: Strange, what would he need the Chaos Emeralds for?

Tails: Let's keep an eye on him for now.

Sonic: I'm sure it'll be fine.

Tails: But Sonic-

Sonic: Trust me.

Y/n was working on those goggles when Amy walked up to him.

Amy: Hey there.

Y/n: Hi.

Amy: Whatcha doing?

Y/n: Working on the goggles I stole from a government base to help us find those Chaos Emeralds.

Amy: Stole?!

Y/n: Well, sometimes in life you got to get your hands dirty to get what you want.

Amy: Okay, so first you kill people and now you steal from them?! Just what is wrong with you!?

Y/n: I could ask the same about you and those idiots you call friends.

Amy: What was that?!

Y/n: All of you act so happy because life is so simple for you, but some people don't have perfect life's like you.

Amy: Hey, no one is saying their life is better than anyone else's.

Y/n: If that's the case then how come you all are so happy about everything?

Amy: Well, how can you be mad about everything.

Y/n: That's not true, somethings make me happy.

Amy: Like what?

Y/n: None of your business. Now, if you're not going to help then just leave me alone.

Tails then came down.

Tails: Hey, what's going on here?

Amy: Y/n here is just being a jerk when all I'm trying to do is be his friend.

Y/n: I told you I didn't need any friends and I certainly wouldn't be friends with someone like you.

Amy: Come again.

Tails: Listen, Y/n, you really shouldn't upset her.

Y/n: Oh, like I'm scared of this pink weakling.

Amy: "Weakling"!? That tears it!

She got out her hammer and tried to hit him with it but he blocked it with his shield and took the hammer from her.

Tails: Oh, taking the hammer. Why didn't we think of that?

Amy: Tails!

Tails: Sorry.

Amy: Give me back my hammer, jerk!

Y/n: You want your hammer back?

He used his right bracelet blade to slice the hammer in half.

Y/n: Take it.

He threw the hammer near Amy's feet and he dropped to her knees.

Y/n: Now, Leave me alone so I can get this done.

Amy: Fine.

She took her hammer and walked off, leaving Tails with Y/n.

Tails: That wasn't cool, you know.

Y/n: I was defending myself.

Tails: (sigh) What are you even doing?

Y/n: I'm modifying the function of these night vision goggles and turning them into something that will help us with our Chaos Emerald problem.

Tails: How are you going to give this goggles the ability to find Chaos Emeralds?

Y/n: Well, it won't work exactly like that. First, I would need a picture of a Chaos Emerald, then the goggles can find them.

Tails: Oh, I get it now.

Y/n: (sigh) Look, as much as I hate to say it, I need you're help.

Tails: Really? The all mighty Y/n needs MY help?

Y/n: I never said I was "all mighty" I just want to get home, and I know that's what you and your friends want too. So, the only way we can succeed in that is if we help each other.

Tails: Yeah, you're right.

Y/n: But there is one thing.

Tails: I knew there'd be.

Y/n: After we get back home you will give all of the Chaos Emeralds to me.

Tails: And just what exactly are you going to do with them?

Y/n: I don't feel inclined to tell you.

Tails: Then I don't feel inclined to give you the Emeralds.

Y/n: I was hoping you'd be mature about this, but I guess not. This talk is over.

Tails: Fine.

Tails stormed out of there.

Meanwhile in the city.

A digger was shoveling some sand into a dump truck but something shiny fell out of one of the sand scoops and it turned out to be the green Chaos Emerald.

On an airplane.

A man in political clothing was talking to two other man.

Man 1: And where are they?

Man 2: It seems the two hedgehogs and their friends are staying with a family in Station Square. And our agents have traced Eggman to an island somewhere in the Southern Sea.

Man 1: Well, get going! I want them captured!

Man 2: With all due respect, it might be best to keep them under surveillance so we can observe their behavior.

Man 1: (grumbles) That's all well and good, but you had better pay special to that dangerous Eggman character and that lethal light blue hedgehog.

Man 2: We've already sent out a reconnaissance team, Mr. President. We'll be sure to report back any suspicious activities.

As they spoke reconnaissance team were getting on the island that the Eggman Fortress was on.

President: Any word on the animals?

Man 2: We have our operatives watching them too, sir, and we're dispatching an undercover agent to get information on the boy. If there's any unusual activity, we'll know about it.

At an Elementary School.

Chris was sitting in between two other kids, one was African American boy with short black hair, green eyes, wearing a green leather jacket over a black shirt and a pair of blue jeans. And the other is a girl with white skin, bright red hair, light green eyes, and pink overalls over a light blue short sleeved shirt.

Green jacket kid: I bet you those little hedgehog things are so fast, they're never gonna get them.

Overalls girl: I bet you're right. Chris, you think they'll ever catch those hedgehogs?

Chris: Huh? Uh, I don't know.

The principal walked in.

Principal: Children, may I have your attention?

The children turned to him and saw he was with a blonde guys, with glasses, green jacket, and grey pants.

Principal: I'd like to make a brief announcement to you all. Your teacher Miss Westerly will be taking a leave of absence. Therefore, she will not be with you for the remainder of the semester.

All the kids: Huh?/Wow!

Principal: Please say hello to Mr. Stewart who will be your substitute.

Mr. Stewart: Hello, children.

Students: Hello, Mr. Stewart.

He looked at Chris with a serious look.

Back at the construction site.

The digger touched the Chaos Emerald, then the digger started to Glow green and it went out of control but it stopped after a few minutes.

At the Thorndyke residence.

Cream and Cheese were on the couch in Chris's room and were about to drift off to sleep when Y/n came in through the window.

Y/n: (sigh) Typical of a kid your age to start drifting to sleep at this time of day. Now, where did I leave that picture of the Chaos Emeralds I had?

He looked at the TV and saw the news was on.

News lady: An unusual gemstone was discovered today at a department store construction site.

Y/n: Unusual gemstone?

News lady: Eyewitnesses at the site report that construction machinery seemed to malfunction whenever it came within close contact of this strange jewel. The stone does appear to be radiating an invisible highly-charged energy.

Y/n: She can't be talking about-

The news lady showed a picture of the Chaos Emerald.

News lady: This is an artist's rendering.

Y/n and Cream gasped.

Cheese: Chao chao!

Cream: We've gotta tell Sonic.

Y/n: No, we need to get my invention finished.

Y/n grabbed a piece of paper that was laying around and jumped out the window while Cream and Cheese ran out the door to find Sonic who was sleeping in a tree.

Sonic: Pretty good nap. I needed that.

Cream: Sonic, you won't believe it.

Sonic: Huh? What's up?

Cream: They found one! They found one!

Later.

Tails and Amy were in the Tornado.

Cream: Be careful. Don't get hurt, Tails.

Tails: Don't worry, Cream. We'll be okay.

Y/n came out of the garage with a pair of goggles on.

Tails: Are those the goggles you've been working on?

Y/n: They are, and with them will be able to find that Chaos Emerald.

Amy: I hope Sonic knows where he's going. If he gets lost, we won't know where to look for him.

Y/n: that's other reason why I made these goggles, my goggles will tell me the exact location the nearest Chaos Emerald is.

He ran off.

Tails: Don't worry about Sonic, Amy. If anybody can find the Chaos Emerald he can. (Thinking: I just hope he finds it before Y/n does.)

Chuck: Good luck, and be sure to keep your eyes out for Sonic and Y/n. I certainly hope they can find that Emerald.

In the city.

Y/n was running through the city.

Y/n: According to my goggles I should take a left here.

He took the left and that's when he saw Eggman with a flying robot.

Y/n: Emerald first, Robotnik second.

He ran and ran until he reach the construction site.

Y/n: All right, now all you have to do is dig under that tarp.

He took the tarp off and started to digging but before he could get the Emerald he saw Sonic getting beaten by the flying robot and when Amy tried to give him the power ring but it failed.

Y/n: I'm going to regret this.

He climbed up a building and jumped on the Tornado's wing.

Tails: Y/n?

Y/n: Get me close to that robot and when it blows up be prepared to catch Sonic.

Tails: What?

Y/n: Look, I know we haven't been on the best of terms, but you're just going to have to trust me on this one.

Tails thought for a moment then nodded his head and they flew closer to the robot.

Y/n: Now, try not to blink.

He used Spindash to go straight through the robot's chest and it exploded right after.

Amy: Woah.

Tails: Such power.

Sonic started to fall but Tails and Amy caught him.

Sonic: Thanks for the safe, guys.

Tails: It wasn't just us, Y/n helped too.

Sonic: Y/n?

Tails: Yeah, maybe he's not so bad after all.

Y/n: All right, now to get back to that Chaos Emerald.

He saw Eggman with something in his hand and he also saw Chris at the bottom of his egg carrier.

Y/n: Robotnik, he must have took in the Emerald. Well, he won't get away with it!

He used the robot parts a stepping stones and he reach the egg carrier and held his right bracelet blade up to Eggman's throat.

Y/n: Choose now, the Chaos Emerald or your life. Be careful, one could lead me to taking both.

Eggman was terrified.

Eggman: No, wait, listen, I did have the Chaos Emerald, but I don't have it anymore!

Y/n used his goggles and saw he was telling the truth, he did see it that the Chaos Emerald was with Chris who was falling.

Y/n: Christopher!

Eggman flip the egg carrier to try and get Y/n off but Y/n held on. However, is goggles fell off his head and landed hard on the road where a green car ran them over.

Y/n: My goggles!

Y/n saw that Sonic caught Chris before he hit the ground.

Y/n: Well, it seems like I can go now.

He let go of the egg carrier and landed on a building then he ran in the same direction as Sonic.

Eggman: Note to self, watch out for that hedgehog.

Later.

At the Thorndyke's garage.

Chris showed the Chaos Emerald to everyone.

Cream: Now that we have one, we just need six more.

Amy: That's right, Cream.

Chuck: I'm not certain we should keep it here. After all, it might have an effect on my equipment.

Tails: No problem. If anything goes wrong with them, I'll fix them for you.

Chuck: All right, it's a deal.

Tails: Okay, Grandpa.

Chris walked over to Sonic who was laying near the window and Y/n who was leaning against the wall with his arms crossed.

Chris: Um, Sonic and Y/n? I'm sorry.

Sonic: What are you sorry for?

Chris: Well, for... For losing...

Sonic: Got it back, didn't you?

Y/n walked to Chris and put his hands on his shoulders.

Y/n: Listen, Christopher. You knew the situation was dangerous yet you still helped us, and I respect that, but be more careful next time, okay?

Chris: Okay. Thanks Y/n.

Sonic: Yeah, and thanks for helping out today too.

Y/n: If it's about that robot, it wasn't that big of a deal.

Tails: No really, we couldn't have done it without you. Maybe I should place a little more trust in you.

Y/n: I'm glad you see that, Tails.

Sonic walked to Y/n and extended his hand.

Sonic: Welcome to the-

Y/n smacked his hand away.

Everyone except Y/n: Huh?

Y/n: Listen, I only helped today because we all have a mutual hatred for Robotnik.

Amy: Robotnik?

Tails: Yeah, who's Robotnik?

Y/n: The guy who's robot I blew up.

Sonic: But his name is-

Y/n: I know what his name is, I'm just calling him Robotnik because it's far superior. Anyway, we both want him gone and I'm happy to help you with that, but as soon as Robotnik is delt with I'm leaving, am I understood?

Everyone took a moment to answer.

Everyone: Yes.

Y/n: Good to hear.

He walked out of there without another word.
