Green Hill, Temple Mountain, Sunset

Sonic and Gwen opens their eyes.

"Oh, where are we?" Sonic questioned.

"Oh I think...." Gwen started.

They gasp as a freeze frame with a speed of 0.01 seconds plays of their friends battling robots, and Eggman's Eggcrusher about to occupy the Paradox Prism.

"It worked!" Siblings said in unison happily.

They run and skate to Knuckles.

"Knuckles!"

Sonic fist-bumps him and Gwen kisses him on the cheek before they jump over to Rouge.

"Fly high, Rouge!" they said in unison.

Sonic and Gwen runs to Amy, with two Flickys on top of a Badnik.

"Nobody protects nature better than you, sweet Amy." Sonic said.

"Always a good friend." Gwen added.

They then run and skate to the top of the rock and sit on it in front of Tails.

"Hi, buddy. I can't tell you how much I missed you..." Gwen said gladly.

"Or how much I can't wait to hear you say, "Sonic, wait!" In less than 20 seconds." Sonic added.

"Yep. Sonic, you get your position and I'll get to mine." Gwen said as they nodded to each other.

Sonic peels out across the cave towards Eggman. The frame goes back to normal speed with a reference to the first episode, Shattered.

"Step away from the rock, Egghead."

"Not this time, you fool."

Sonic speeds toward the Prism. Eggman struggles to pull it free. The electricity bolts arc around its claws. Gwen notices this and feels something wasn't right and roller skates after Sonic in speed.

"Sonic, stop! Something's wrong!!"

Sonic jumps and spins at it as Gwen jumps at her brother at the same time. Eggman grins.

"Sonic, wait!!" Tails called.

Something glows from under the Prism. Amy, Knuckles, Rouge, Tails, including Gwen all shouted.

"SONIC, NO!!"

Sonic and Gwen clings onto Eggman's pod and hugs it.

"Wha-huh?"

"Huh?!"

"Uhh...what are you two think you're doing?"

"We're just happy to see everyone!" Sonic said.

"Me too, Even you, Eggy!" Gwen added.

"What?! Stop that! I can't stand you, you buffoons!" Eggman yelled, punching Sonic and Gwen away with his glove, and then use the Eggcrusher's fist to punch them up in the air, followed by another punch, knocking them back.

Sonic and Gwen are alongside their friends.

"Okay, crew! There are two things that are gonna happen here! One, we protect that big shiny rock!" Sonic said.

"And two, we stick together no matter what it takes! Now let's go crack that rotten egg!" Gwen finished.

"Huh! I guess he finally heard the "stick together" part." Amy Rose said, looking surprised and happy.

Sonic, Gwen and their friends charge towards Eggman. Knuckles punches a Badnik. Rouge hits another while Tails uses his device to break another robot. Amy hammers a Caterkiller. Sonic spin attacks two more badniks before Gwen spin-jumping with a sword to defeat another one.

"Say goodbye to your "trees and beaches"! My time has finally come!" Eggman yelled, waving with the Eggcrusher

His mech grabs hold of the Paradox Prism.

"Take the shot, Tails!" Sonic and Gwen said in unison.

Tails shoots, directly hitting Eggman and knocking his Eggcrusher back away from the Paradox Prism and towards Amy, who hammers it. Rouge kicks the Eggcrusher on the head.

"Why, you little...!"

Tails takes Sonic and Gwen high. Sonic spin attacks and Gwen use giant fist whip to attack Eggman. Knuckles punches to send the Eggcrusher down as it grazes the rocks with a dust cloud. Eggman gets up.

"Gotta admit, Sonic, this "stick together" plan might be our best one yet." Amy said.

"If I've learned anything, it's that we are a team, and together, we're unstoppable!" Sonic said.

"What's the matter with you, Sonic? Did you eat another one of those truck stop chili dogs on your way over?" Knuckles asked.

"Something like that." Sonic answered and laughed.

"You, your sister and your furry friends are adorable when you try this hard, hedgehog! But the result is inevitable." Eggman said, walking forward and threatening them.

To Gwen's curiosity while noticing something behind Eggman, Shadow appears with a fierce look from the entrance to the cave. In his hand, he reveals the green Chaos Emerald, the one he lost. Gwen smiles and nods in agreement as the Eggcrusher walks closer to them.

"This world is MINE!"

Shadow teleports to stand on top of the Paradox Prism, to Eggman's shock.

"Huh?! Shadow?! What the heck are you doing here?!" he exclaimed.

"I am the ultimate life form. I go wherever I want." Shadow stated.

"Wha-huh?"

"Chaos Control!"

Shadow then disappears with the Prism.

"NOO!!! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?!?!?!" Eggman yelled angrily.

Sonic jumps onto the Prism's crater with Gwen jumping beside her brother.

"Sorry, Eggman. But when you've got a crew like mine and with my sister, there's nothing that can stop you." Sonic said.

"You haven't heard the last of me, hedgehogs!"

"You will pay for this in ways you'd never imagine! Yeah, yeah, I heard it a million times, Eggy. And I can't wait for a million and one." Gwen said, impersonating Eggman.

"Cubot! Orbot! We're gonna need a bigger fleet!" Eggman yelled, occupying Cubot and Orbot with both hands.

"Sir, yes, sir!" Orbot said.

"Ooh, I've always wanted a bigger fleet!" Cubot said.

Eggman walks out of the cave and jumps out of Temple Mountain. Sonic and his friends cheer in celebration, while Gwen thinking about where Shadow is now with the Paradox Prism.

"Thank you, Shadow for everything you helped us and saved us. And I hope one day we will see each other again." Gwen said in her mind, placing her hands on her chest knowing she will see him again one day.

Green Hill, Coast, day

Big fishes on the raft. Knuckles exercises by lifting a boulder. Rouge flies down handing coconuts to Amy and Tails. Sonic and Gwen walks in with a plate stacked of Chili Dogs.

"Sonic! Gwen!" Tails said.

Knuckles throws the rock away and gets up.

"Ha, late again. What a surprise. And I didn't expect Gwen was late before." he said.

"Oh, chili dogs!" Big said, excited, running to the beach to meet up with the gang.

"We're not late." Gwen said.

"Just wanted to make sure the taste-o-meter on these chili dogs was at 110%." Sonic said.

"Yeah, okay, Sonic, Gwen." Amy said, provoked.

"You two have been acting different since the cave. Is something going on?" Tails asked curiously.

"Okay, okay. The wildest thing just happened. Right after the--" Sonic said, sniffing deeply.

An explosion is heard in the distance.

"Huh?"

The hedgehog siblings turns and gasps in horror.

Light blue shockwaves burst through Green Hill and knocks everyone back, ruining the Chili Dogs. A shadow forms across the beach. Sonic and Gwen facepalms while the others stay alert.

"Oh, you gotta be kidding me." Gwen said, groaning. "Ready for another adventure bro?"

"You bet, sis." Sonic agreed.

"Okay, team, we gotta go fast!" the siblings said, ready to fight before running and skating away.
