Oh, What A Day

Rivendell

Ada let me out early for dinner. I decided to take a quick walk in the gardens.

I then heard a noise and followed till I can upon another statue of my mother. I saw two elves that I thought I would never see do it.

I gave a little whistle. Lindir flinched, while Erestor just smiled.

"Lady Lìvian."

"Yes, Lindir."

"How long have you been standing there?"

"Not long, though I may or may not have seen tongue."

I saw both elves' ears go red.

"I had no idea you could do that." I continued.

"That's enough." Lindir said, embarrassed.

"And behind my mothers' statue."

It went silent.

"Shall I expect a happy announcement by the end of the week?" I went on.

"Lìvia." He warned.

"Just saying I better get an invention."

Erestor laughed. Lindir just got redder which I didn't even know was possible.

"Oh, wait till I tell Glorfindel."

"That's it." Lindir exclaimed, heading my way.

Ah, oh. RUN YOU FOOL!

(RUN!)

I picked the bottom of my dress and started running and laughing back into the city.

Up the stone steps and past a few elves, who rolled their eyes past me.

I saw Ada up ahead, 'No running in the halls.' he'd say. I stopped far enough for him not to notice as I walked pasted him.

'Ada.'

"Lìvia."

I looked back as soon as he turned the corner, I picked up my dress again and started running once more.

3rd POV

Lindir was not to far behind Lìvia, but noticed Lord Elrond turning the corner. Lindir quickly started walking.

"Lindir." Elrond greeted with a nod.

"Lord Elrond." Lindir replied back.

"She took the left hall."

'Hanna le', Lord Elrond."

"Always, a pleaser."

Once Lindir turned the corner, he picked up his pace.

Lìvias' POV

Around the halls and past the pillars.

To find Glorfindel I go.

I don't want Lindir to catch me.

So I better run faster.

Hey!

Then, with my luck I hit face first into two bodies. I almost fell backwards if two arms did not catch me. I looked to see Elladan and Elrohir.

"Im glad I ran into you two."

"Literally." They replied.

"Have you seen Glorfindel?"

"Maybe we have-" Elrohir started.

"Maybe we haven't."

"Why are you running?" They asked.

"Lindir is chancing me." I said looking behind me, then looked back to them.

"Why?"

"Why should I tell you two." I relied checking behind me, again.

"Maybe we should let him catch you."

I looked back at them.

"That does seem the right thing to do."

"I saw Lindir kissing Erestor, behind 'Naneths' statue." I said quickly.

Both their jaws dropped.

"Close your mouths, you'll catch flies."

"He's that way." They said pointing behind them.

"Thanks." I thanked and went in between them.

"We'll slow Lindir down for you."

"Thank you."

3rd POV

Lindir continued his call of a run, till he came face to face with the twins.

"What's the rush Lindir?" Elrohir asked.

"Yes, we have all the time in Middle-earth."

"What? I am in no rush. Do you by any chance know where your sister went?" He asked a little out of breath.

"As a matter of fact-" Elrohir started.

"-we do." Elladan continued.

"She went -"

"That way." They said pointing in two different directions.

Lindir sighed.

"Which way did she go?" He asked again.

"That way." They said again, switching directions.

"You two are no help."

"Glad you finally caught on, Lindir." Elladan stated, smiling.

"Which way did she go?"

"That way." They replied once more, pointing behind themselves.

"Thank you." Lindir muttered, passing the twins.

He left the twins in the hall.

"Think our sister made it yet?" Elrohir asked.

"Defiantly."

Lìvias' POV

Come on, come on, where are you?

I ran past the stone staircase, catching the second pillar, I spun around.

"Glorfindel!" I shouted, running down the steps, skipping two at a time.

"Lady Lìvian?" He questioned, headed to the stairs.

"I need to tell you- Whoa!" I tripped on the last few steps.

Luckily Glorfindel, caught me.

"Are you alright, my lady?"

"Oh, yes thank you Glorfindel. But I have to tell you-"

"There you are!"

"Save me!" I shouted running behind Glorfindel.

"What why- oh hello Lindir. How are - "

"Not now, hand over Lìvia." Lindir insisted, trying to grab my shoulder, but Glorfindel straightened out his arms.

"What is going on?"

"Nothing!"

"He was kissing Erestor behind mothers' statute!"

Glorfindel gasped.

"Lindir!"

"You're dead Lìvia."

"I'll take it to the grave."

"We're elves we-"

"Precisely."

Lindir scolded at me, and charged once again at Glorfindel to get me.

"Run, Lady Lìvia. I can only hold him for so long."

"Thanks Glorfindel." I said running off.

3rd POV

Lindir continued to fight his way out of Glorfindels' grasp, but to no avail.

"Would-you-just-stop-resisting?" Glorfindel asked, pushing Lindir away.

"No." He simple said, and charged again.

"Stop, just stop."

"You cannot stop me."

"I know so stop fighting me and lets get the little noise elf."

"The way your mind works makes me uneasy sometimes."

"Good, lets go."

"You traitor!" Lìvia shouted.

"My loyalty is with my men." He said, putting his hand on Lindirs' shoulder.

"And not my father?!"

Glorfindels' face fell, and as a sheet white, it looked.

"Now I did not say that."

'ADA! ADA!' Lìvia shouted ignoring Glorfindels' protest and started to find her father

"Get her! "Lindir shouted, cashing after Livia, followed by Glorfindel.

Lìvia POV

I can not believe Glorfindel betrayed me like that.

It must be my young age that I am able to run faster than the two older elves. But not to far behind me.

"Arwen! Arwen! Help me!"

"Livia? What did you do now?"

"I saw Lindir kissing Erestor, behind mothers' statue, then Glorfindel stopped Lindir from chasing me, but know they are both after me."

"Wait, Lindir kissed Erestor?"

"Yes, Arwen, please try to keep up!"

"Does-"

"Yes, Elladan and Elrohir already know. Now help me, distract them.

She nodded as I ran off again.

Ada held his ground when I ran face first into him. He had the look of displeasure on his face while I gave a small smile.

"Lívia, what are you doing?"

"IwenttothegardenssincewegotoutearlyandIheardsomethingandwenttocheckonitandbehindNaneths'stauteIsawLindirandErestorkissing." I took a breath, seeing Adas' face.

"But-"

"IthenmayhavenothavesaidthemostladyoflikethingsnextandLindicameafterme.IranintoElladanandElrohirthatslowedindirdownforalittlebit.FinallyIsawGlorfindelandItoldhimwhatIsaw.ThenLindircameGlorfindelgavemetimetoleaveanywayGlorfindelandLindirareafterme."

"Breath. And please never do that again." He said, rubbing his head. "May we just go to dinner?"

I nodded.

"And you are going to apologize to Lindir and Erestor."

"Yes, 'Ada.'"

After Dinner

Once dinner was over, I went to find Lindir and Erestor. I secretively I hoped to find them together, it would save me the trip of searching all over Rivendell for them.

After a few moments of searching I, with my luck both found Lindir and Erestor.

"I hope I am not interrupting anything."

"No, have you come to spy again?" Lindir asked.

'Actually, I have come to apologize. It was wrong for me to be in someone else's business. Even if it was a little loud. - I would hope that both you would accept my apologize."

Both Erestor and Lindir looked at each other, Erestor smiled and nodded.

Lindir sighed and looked back to me.

"We forgive you."
