Queer has been used as derogatory term for many years and many people still are uncomfortable using it to refer to themselves or other in the LGBT+ community. But it is being taken back! Many LGBT+ People are using this word as a blanket term. Instead of listing a whole bunch of orientations and identities they say queer to some it up. When I use it I don't mean for it to be a derogatory term. But if anybody is uncomfortable with me using it, please leave a comment and I will stop.
