Day 6

December 17th

I sigh, glancing at the alarm clock, why am I always so late? I'm considering skipping today but... I take my phone and call Armin, who is probably at school already.

"Eren? Don't tell me you're still in bed" I chuckle, we know each other too well "you're coming, aren't you?" I frown.

"I don't know, Armin, I don't want to see Reiner.. I may stay home and go when the classes are over to finish the decorations but I'm not sure yet, just tell Mikasa that you two are coming over this afternoon, I still haven't told her what happened yesterday" I close my eyes, I know Armin will ask me about Levi.

"Speaking of, what happened? You knew that guy? He was... hella hot" I blush at the thought of the captain, but... why?

"I'll tell you everything later, bye" before Armin can say anything, I hang up.

Why am I blushing since he mentioned Levi? It doesn't make any sense, Levi's just a grumpy slightly hot cop, so why? My mind goes back to the dream I had a few nights ago, that dream made no sense back then, but now... it feels as if he's giving it more and more sense each day, and with Levi on the picture... it's like the entire world is different and I don't understand why.

"Captain! Where are you going?" Oluo asks "the case is closed, the girl is on her way to-"

"I am aware of that, no, I am going somewhere else" Levi says walking out of the door "I have something to deal with" his tone is slightly threatening and Oluo stops in his tracks as the captain turns "don't follow me"

"Eren!" I close my eyes, where are Levi and Mikasa when you need them? "Get back here you-!" I turn and hit the blond's face, I know I'm risking a lot, but I don't care "you almost got me arrested yesterday, you are going to regret it"

"Am I?" I question sassily "because I don't recall a time when you haven't 'made me regret' something ever since we started going out or whatever it was what we did" school's over now, people start walking out of the building and I smile, walking inside before Reiner can say nor do anything, I walk into the theater, where Armin, Mikasa, Jean, Marco and Connie are.

"Guys! Where's the music?" I call as I walk in, everyone turns to me "come on! It's almost Christmas, where's the spirit?" Jean rolls his eyes "we're preparing the Christmas ball, why aren't you all excited?"

"If this is your cheering speech it's not working" Jean states, I walk past him and hit the back of his head before connecting my phone to the speakers playing Christmas songs on full blast.

We start working on the decorationsand sing along to the songs playing on shuffle "hey Eren, what happened yesterday?" Marco asks, I stop for a second as he continues "Armin said something about Reiner and the cops"

"There's nothing more to say, Reiner was being an asshole and Armin called the cops, that's pretty much it-"

Sasha rushes inside "guys! Reiner just got arrested!" She exclaims, Mikasa stops the music and we all walk to her "I was with Krista and Ymir and we saw him getting in a police car"

It's not possible, he wouldn't do such thing... "did you see who was arresting him?" I ask, she nods.

"Yeah, he was probably shorter than you and had black hair, that's all we could see, it was too far" she explains.

Armin and I look at each other and I walk to get my phone "that's all I need to know" I say writing a text.

To Levi: I need a ride home

From Levi: I'm busy and I'm not your personal taxi driver

To Levi: Busy arresting my ex?

I frown when he doesn't respond, Armin walks to me and the phone rings, everyone stops talking as I pick up.

"I can't believe you did that!" I snap when I answer, how could he do that? "I didn't ask you to arrest him"

"Look, I don't need your permission to do my job, Eren" he says annoyed "this has nothing to do with you, so I'd appreciate it if you'd let me do my job and stopped being annoying" and he hangs up.

I sigh and look at everyone "let's continue tomorrow, it's getting late" we clean everything up and leave the school gates, at least I know that I won't see Reiner on my way home with Armin and Mikasa. We get home and walk to the livingroom.

"So, Eren, what happened yesterday? And most importantly, who's this mysterious 'Levi'?" Mikasa questions as I sit on the sofa next to Armin, Mikasa is sitting on the floor facing towards us.

"There's not much to say, he's the guy that hit me with his car the other day, he's a cop and he was the one who came to help when Reiner came to be an asshole" I explain, I really don't want to get into any details "that's basically it" I am obviously not going to tell her about how fucking hot he is- what am I thinking? Am I out of my mind?

"What's he like?" It's now Armin's turn in the interrogation, "you left with him and no one heard from you until night time, what did you two do?" I glare at him.

"Nothing, he asked me a few questions about my relationship with Reiner and that's all" I can't help feeling disappointed as I say that, I am genuinely confused right now.

"Okay then" they both say, clearly not believing a word I just said "and you are fine with that and not want anything else to happen?" Mikasa smirks.

"I-well, I- um, of course I don't" I mentally facepalm and they chuckle "okay fine, he's hot, so what?"

"So what? Eren, he literally saved your life, he's your prince!" Mikasa exclaims.

 "And what does that make me? The princess? The snowflake princess?" Armin nods and I roll my eyes "whatever, let's go to bed" I get up and we go to bed.
