"We need more power!" Gargamel shouted. It was raining hard outside, thunder and lightning struck everywhere.

"Faster, Monty. Faster." A fish fell from a box and made Monty go faster. "Yes."

He then went over to check if everything was going correctly.

"The jiggler's jiggling. The spinny thing is spinning. The smoke is going up. The bubblers are bubbling. Hubbuda, Hubbuda. Perfect!"

He went around the machine, "Oh, it's almost there. Just keep running old bird."

Blossom, Brainy, Smurfstorm, Clumsy, Hefty, and a few other girls were inside a cage.

"What are we going to do, now?" Blossom asked, her cheerful mood gone

"It's okay, Blossom. We'll figure out a way to escape." Brainy said

Clumsy was looking down at Gargamel. Smurfstorm noticed that he looked scared, "Hey, you okay?"

"Oh, I'm fine. Just a bit scared that we're about to be drained of our magic." She gave him a look, "Okay, a lot scared."

"It's gonna be okay, Clumsy. Brainy will come up with a plan and we'll all escape." Stormy said, trying to be as helpful as possible

"Thanks, I needed that" He smiled, she smiled back

Brainy then spoke up, "Here's what we're going to do. I pick this lock."

"Yeah?"

"We swing to that shelf."

"Yeah?"

"Pick up something heavy."

"Yeah?"

"And use it to kill the bird!" Brainy said in a maniac tone

"Yeah! What?"

"Yeah! Wait."

"You want us to kill the bird?" Hefty asked

"Fine. We'll just knock him unconscious." Brainy said

"Genius!"

"All right, then."

"Let's do this."

Smurfwillow and Papa Smurf heard their plan, "They have an escape plan, but they're going to need our help."

"It's time to rock the cage."

"Don't be weird."

Brainy successfully picked the lock and they started linking hands. While Smurfwillow and Papa Smurf started to rock the cage towards them.

"Yes!"

"Okay, now!"

They started to jump out of the cage. They would have fallen if Hefty didn't hold onto the cage on time. They swung and Smurfstorm reached Papa and Willow's hands. Hefty let go and swung to the edge of the shelf and barely held on.

Azrael noticed that they escaped and was meowing, trying to get Gargamel's attention, "Stop that, Azrael. I can't calibrate my machine with all your incessant yammering. Oh, yes, Azrael, listen to it. It purrs like a cat."

Realizing, Gargamel won't help, Azrael decided to catch the smurfs himself. He started jumping up to knock the smurfs off the shelf. The ones in range of Azrael started jumping upwards to avoid his claws.

Hefty lifted his hand that was holding Brainy and lifted it the best he could. Azrael then jumped up again to get Smurfblossom. He missed the first time, but the second time, his claw got her dress and pulled her down due to Azrael's weight.

Brainy lost his grip on Clumsy, but he was still with Hefty. Hefty lifted both him and Brainy and a potion bottle fell off the shelf and it hit Azrael's head as he fell of Blossom's dress, making him see stars. Gargamel heard the potion glass break. He looked back and gasped.

"Sweet mercy! It's another jailbreak!" He took his net and caught the smurfs. Smurfstorm was still holding onto Papa and Willow, so he pulled her and she fell inside the net.

"No, Gargamel. No."

"Quiet down, you'll all get your turn. In you go."

He threw all the smurfs inside the machine as they screamed.

"No!" Both Willow and Papa yelled

"Blossom!" Brainy yelled out as well

Their essence started draining. And Gargamel was happy and excited. He poured the power on himself as he started changing his outfit and hair.

"Yes, that's the stuff. Oh, I can feel it. I can feel the power. Oh!" He changed his hair, "Check out my wizard mane."

Brainy and Hefty gave him a look, "Really, man?"

"When I'm through with all these smurfs, I'll have all the power I have ever dreamed of." He then started cackling

When a new voice chimed in, "Almost, all the power."

Everyone looked her way. Smurfette was standing on the front door, as lightning struck behind her.

"Smurfette." Hefty said

"Smurfette, what a lovely surprise." He added, "Are you done crying in the woods?"

She then said, "I've shed enough tears for those smurfs."

"What's this?" Gargamel said excitedly

"I'm done pretending to be something I'm not. I've come to repledge my loyalty to you, my true papa." She said. Everyone around her couldn't believe what she was saying, even Gargamel was surprised.

"Impossible." He said

Willow didn't believe this, "She can't be serious."

"No, no, no, she would never," Papa said

Gargamel continued, "Even if I did believe you, which I don't, what could you possibly offer me that I don't already have." Smurfette rolled her eyes, "A tiny little massage that I can't even feel?"

She then firmly said, "How about the rest of the smurfs?"

Gargamel laughed, but then realized what she just said, "Yeah, right. Wait, what?"

"Just think of all the power you'll have once I reveal the location of Smurf Village." She pointed her and to the map. Everyone around her gasped.

"So, let's see. One hundred more smurfs, that's 10 times the power... No, if you carry the one..." He then got sick of trying to calculate it, "Whatever. It's a lot more power. Now, why are you doing this?"

"I'm so tired of being good. Use your power to transform me back to my evil self." She simply said

Gargamel laughed excitedly, "Your loyalty has returned to you."

She asked again, "So, do we have a deal?"

Papa tried to stop her, "Smurfette, no!"

"Quiet, you vile blue rats. I'm thinking." He paused for a second, "Okay, I'm done. Let's do it."

He raised his hands to transform her, "One evil Smurfette coming right up!"

He shot his power into her heart. After a few seconds, blue essence started replacing the green one. Potions started exploding. Candles started to blow out. And Brainy knew what was happening.

"Wait, of course!" He shouted

Gargamel's spells on himself started reversing as he exclaimed, "What? Oh, what's happening? No! No! What are you doing?"

Hefty and Brainy cheered on,

"Yeah, go Smurfette!"

"Whoo!"

Gargamel knew he needed more power if he wanted to win, "Azrael, help! More power!"

Azrael was catching a mouse, but ran towards Gargamel and pulled the lever, giving him more power. As soon as he felt the power, he started laughing again. Brainy and Hefty knew that Smurfette couldn't hold this up for long if Gargamel keeps absorbing magic.

"What are we going to do?"

Hefty looked around and saw a spoon. Then, he got an idea.

"Bingo. We smurfboard."

Hefty grabbed the spoon and Brainy got on the back. They slid down the axe and, once in range, he punched the bird.

Once in range, Hefty punched the bird, "Payback time!"

Punching him off, but due to it still being on the treadmill, he spun around a few times until it launched him towards Azrael, making them both fall off the table. The boys then landed safely on the ground.

Smurfette's blue essence spreaded all around the place and it started breaking everything. Smurfette used every last strength in her to change her aim towards the machine, giving the smurfs, that was being drained, back their magic. Gargamel, Azrael, and Monty started getting sucked inside. Gargamel lost his grip and gripped onto Azrael and Monty, but they lost their grip due to Gargamel's weight, "No!"

They then got launched out of the sky, back towards the Swamp of No Return. Gargamel, Azrael, and Monty jumped out of the water, running on water, away from the piranhas. Yelling, "Smurfintine! Smurfintine!"

Every cage lock broke and everyone was free. So, were the ones inside the machine. Everyone got free and started hugging each other.

"We're free!"

"I'm okay. Yeah!"

"I thought we were goners."

"All right. Everybody. Thank goodness."

"All right!"

"I'm okay!"

"She did it!"

"She did it!"

The boys then thought about where Smurfette was, "Where's Smurfette?"

They walked towards where everyone was gathered, "Hey. Smurfette?"

When they got there, they saw that Smurfette was nothing more than a lump of clay shaped as a smurf.

"What happened?" Hefty asked

"This is what she once was." Papa Smurf answered sadly

Everyone around her then started frowning or crying. Smurfblossom was beside Smurfwillow as she started crying. Even though Smurfstorm had a grudge against Smurfette, she came up front and started to cry a little beside Blossom.

Clumsy, Hefty, Papa, and Brainy were also starting to cry. Papa refused to believe she can't come back, "No. No, no, no. There's gotta be something I can do. There's gotta be a spell. There's gotta be something."

He flipped through the pages of a book trying to find something, "I know there is. Where is it? What page? Must be here. 'Alchemy, vanishing'. 'Lead into gold.' No, that's not it."

"Papa," Brainy said

"Which spell? Which spell?"

"Papa. We won't find the answer to this in a book."

Papa stopped searching and closed his eyes, crying while Brainy placed a hand on his shoulder, crying as well.

Hefty, still crying, then lifted her, "Let's take her home."

Everyone was holding a tube with a blue glowing bug, walking towards Smurf Village. Smurfs in the village started waking up. It was morning and Smurfette was placed in a patch of yellow daisies.

Everyone formed a circle spiral holding hands with each other. SmurfStorm was holding Clumsy's hand, Clumsy was holding Brainy's hand, Brainy was holding Smurfblossom's hand, Smurfblossom was holding Papa's hand, Papa was holding Hefty's hand, and so on.

Everyone held a sad face. Even some of the animals were looking sad and crying, including Bucky, Snappy, and Spitfire. Everyone was closing their eyes.

Papa then said, "She never thought she was a real smurf, but she was the truest smurf of them all."

Everyone's hand started glowing blue. And the blue essence starts flowing towards the lump of clay. No one noticed when this happened.

Smurfette opened her eyes and stood up. Shocked to see everyone was linking hands and crying while she was in the center of everyone. She then started approaching Clumsy, who was crying his eyes out.

She then decided to ask him, "Why is everyone crying?"

He answered without knowing he was talking to Smurfette, "It's Smurfette, she's a lump of clay."

"No, Clumsy, it's me. I'm right here."

Clumsy opened his eyes and was shocked to see Smurfette standing in front of him.

"Smurfette?"

He thought he was hallucinating. So, he reached out to touch her face and realized that it really was her.

"It's Smurfette. It's Smurfette!"

Everyone thought Clumsy was just hallucinating, so they let him be.

"Quiet, Clumsy." Brainy said still not noticing Smurfette was here

"Let him be, Brainy." Papa let him be, "We all grieve in our own way."

Clumsy yelled happily again, "She's here!"

Hefty then opened his eyes, not seeing Smurfette yet, "Poor Lil' bro. I know how he feels." He then gasped as he looked towards Clumsy and Smurfette reuniting and hugging.

"Smurfette!" He started running towards her, twirling her in the air.

Brainy thought Hefty was also hallucinating, "Oh, Hefty, not you, too." But when he saw Smurfette, he gasped. Everyone then started opening their eyes.

Hefty placed Smurfette down and said, "Don't ever do that to me again."

"I won't. I promise." She promised

Brainy then started pumping his fist in the air, "Yes, yes, yes!"

Once Smurfette was done reuniting with her team, she approached Papa. He took her hands and hugged her, saying, "You never cease to amaze me."

Everyone started clapping their hands as they started approaching Smurfette.

"So, as for that burning question..."

Brainy was standing beside a rock that Smurfblossom was sitting on, "What's a Smurfette?"

He threw his book away, "Well, I don't need a book to tell you, she's-"

Snappy bug said something to him. He then corrected himself, "Right. Smurfette can't be defined by just one word. She's many things."

"Oh, she doesn't know it yet, but she's my new best friend," Smurfblossom said as she jumped off the rock to stand beside Brainy

Clumsy and Smurfstorm were sitting on Spitfire. Clumsy on the back and Storm on the front. Clumsy was also beside Bucky.

"Smurfette is a bunny wrangler." Clumsy said scratching Bucky's chin, making him glow green.

"She's tough. Not as tough as me." Storm said. Clumsy then came beside her and nudged her, "But tough enough.

Hefty was standing somewhere in the crowd, "Smurfette can be anything she wants to be."

Everyone started walking towards Smurf Village and started dancing to the music.

Clumsy was dancing with Smurfstorm but accidentally slipped. He then started doing complex breakdance moves by accident and also accidentally took Smurfstorm's hand, twirled her, and dipped her at the end, Clumsy smiling sheepishly and Smurfstorm smirking, both faintly blushing. But everyone was cheering for them.

Brainy was robot dancing with Blossom and he also twirled her in the air for a few seconds and landed with a dip.

Everyone was dancing in the middle, doing some fun complex moves. And in the end, they jumped and landed perfectly.

Snappy bug was about to snap a picture, "Say 'blue cheese'"

"Blue cheese!"

Snappy snapped the picture. It showed everyone in Smurf Village, boys and girls. Brainy, Hefty, Smurfette, and Blossom were at the front. Clumsy and Smurfstorm were riding on Spitfire together for the shot.
