Life can be so tough,
When nothing seems to fit,
Little seems to be fulfilling.

Think of moods and feelings,
As being similar to weather;
You can't change it.

But it will be sunny one day.
One day, moods they will pass.
Accept how it feels in life.

I wish you well in your search,
find a little more pleasure,
and purpose in life.

Written for the PoetPubs' April 2020 challenge (Wk 3-4) we had to write a found poem, no longer than 20 lines, from any publicly available written history. I chose a letter written by Stephen Fry.

In 2006 a young lady named Crystal Nunn was suffering from serious depression and felt she needed someone to confide in and ease the pain. She decided to write a letter to her hero, Stephen Fry, who himself had gone through stages of depression. His reply is given in the external link.
