"We'll have to find some clothes for the Aureum to wear, as soon as they thaw out" said John.

"Correct, that way, they won't have to walk naked" said Valerie as she blushed.

"Hmm... I get the feeling that they're scientists or chemists" said Nurib.

"That could be it, we don't know" said Valerie, examining one if the frozen Aureum.

Nurib walked over to the closet and opened it, he saw some spare clothes that can fit. He took out eight pairs of undergarments, green pants, belts, and green jackets. Then he came back and placed the clothes on the corner of the lab, and then fold them separately in stacks.

"There, they should be covered for when they thaw out" he said.

"I hope so, because if they were dead by the time they were thawed out, I wouldn't want to stand around with a lot of bodies" said John.

"I assure you, I sensed signs of life within them" Nurib assured.

Christine checked the monitor to see the creatures DNA structure, and she was astonished of what she saw.

"Hey guys! Check this out!" She said.

"What?" Asked Nurib.

All three team members walked over to her to see of what she had found, and they couldn't believe what they saw. It shows that the creature is a hybrid between a bat, a wolf, and an unknown alien animal with tentacles.

"It's 67% bat, 50% wolf, and 37% unknown alien life form. I'm not sure how it came to be, but an experiment gone wrong must be a possibility" explained Christine.

"So it's not some sort of alien vampire?" Questioned John.

"So far, it has the ability to suck blood from its prey. I don't think it has the ability to infect or turn anyone into more of those blood thirsty vampires" she said.

Nurib sighed in relief that he was bitten, and wasn't infected by that mutant creature. He should count himself lucky that it didn't sucked his blood to the point that it would've killed him, if he hasn't killed it by stomping on it's head. Then he bent down and deactivating the force field that protected his feet, feeling that he doesn't need them until later.

"How do we thaw out the Aureum?" Asked Valerie.

"Naturally, while you three have carried the frozen Aureum in here, I've found this cordless hairdryer that might be of use" replied Christine as she handed the hairdryer to John.

"Alright, let's thaw them out!" Said John enthusiastically.

"I'll go ahead, and scout out this facility" said Nurib.

"Can I join?" Asked Christine.

"No, but I'll be back. It'll be just a quick trip, so don't worry" Nurib assured.

"Just be back, ok? We'll have to find something to eat, because I'm starving" said John.

Nurib took off his helmet and give his teammates a reassuring smile before exiting the lab, he immediately turns on his flashlight to shine in the dark halls. Since he no longer have his plasma pistol, he has to rely on his fists for punching. As he walked down the hall, he saw windows that leads outside of the facility. He can see that it's already night out, due to the stars and two planetoids that he assumed were moons. Afterwards, he walked into the part of the facility that is called "bio wing". In the bio wing, there were rows of pods that contained monsters that were genetic experiments. He had no idea what these creatures were used for, but he doesn't want to know out of fear. Whatever these creatures are, it seemed the scientists were trying to create bio weapons but had to put them in hypersleep due to how dangerous they are.

"This is getting scarier and scarier as I pass here" he said to himself.

He entered the chamber straight ahead, it was dimly lit and nothing else but a couple of dried up orbs. However, when he stepped on the glowing red line on the floor, four tiles on the walls on both opposite sides lifted up and four round turrets come out from the holes. Then the turrets shoot out blue colored orbs that glowed, so he immediately dodged the attack by jumping back at the entrance. At the same time, he sees an orange keycard at the back. He watched as the slimy blue glowing orbs started to swell in size, so he bent down and touched one that was close to him without touching the red glowing line. Unfortunately his finger got stuck on that slimy blue glowing orb, and he struggled to get it off until he put his bare left foot on it to pull his finger off (it feels slimy, clammy, and sticky). He managed to free his finger, but now he has to pull his left foot off, so he pulled himself very hard until his left foot was freed.

"Blub... why does it have to be blub?" He grumbled to himself.

He assumed that the chamber was for testing the gel like substance called blub, but the substance was different compared to the blub he had seen when he was a teenager (an average Aureum teenager is around one hundred and three to one hundred and nine years old, and that's practically the equivalent to thirteen through nineteen years old in human years). He had to place his helmet on the wall close to the entrance, before taking his armored space suit off (he only wore underwear beneath the armored suit) piece by piece. After that, he suit his armored space suit next to his helmet.

"The only way to get the keycard, was to brave through this trap" he said to himself.

He then stepped on the glowing red line again, and rushed towards the pedestal where the keycard is. He bared his teeth as the turrets shot globs of blub on his arms and parts of his torso as he ran, in which the orbs of blub swelled to the point it's the size of bowling balls. He was almost there while ignoring the turrets shooting blub at him, until two turrets rose from the floor and start shooting at him. He started to scream as the blub orbs started to weigh him down as it covers his entire body, then the turret shot an orb of blub at his left head and swelled to the point that it enveloped half of his head. He tried to move his legs, but the blub restricted his leg movements. Then the turrets shoots his bare feet to the point that they're now covered in blub, causing him to lose balance.

*splat!*

He fell onto his knees before collapsing from the weight of the blub, but at least it cushioned his fall. He turned his head to the right and stared helplessly at the turrets, as if he was expecting it to shot one more orb at him to cover the rest of his head. However, the turrets stopped shooting.

"Damn it! So... close...!" He said as his voice wavered.

He closed his eyes as he passed out unconscious, hoping that one of his teammates can rescue him.
