Remember when Javan told me he knew Swedish and said that what Ben said was in Swedish, not Danish?

I decided to run "Jeg håber, at han brænder i helvede." through Google Translate as Swedish.

I know Google Translate isn't very reliable when it comes to translating phrases, but I don't care.

Anyways, see the screenshot up there? It didn't translate properly in Swedish.

Now watch what happens when I run it through as Danish.

It came out pretty clear. Again, I know Google Translate is not very reliable when it comes to translating phrases so I asked Ben to clarify what it meant.

He confirmed it does.

But what I don't understand is how Javan understood what it said.

I ran the English version of the phrase in GT as Swedish, and it came out similar, but not the same.

Here's a comparison of the two.

To me, the translations look a little similar, but they're not the same.

My guess is that he used GT as well.
