Chapter forty-one: Hi dad

We are currently packing our things because we're gonna leave Japan in a few hours, take note that I'm going to pilot a freaking plane. Well it's still consider as a jet but it's much more bigger compared to what I pilot on  a daily basis. 

Yesterday I had the chance to talk to Cassian and cleared the elephant in the room, halata kasing galit siya at dissapointed. But I understand him, the fact that he stayed loyal for me and didn't take any temptations just to wait for me, is just ever girl dream.

I feel really bad for him, because it looked like I moved on quickly. But I told him that it was hard to move on, especially when ever move I made on the first few weeks here in Japan, all I could think of was him. Yet the destiny paired me with my first love, I'm actually happy because I gave him this chance. 

"Luke, I'm telling you. Don't bring unecessary things, we'll come back here." Sabi ko sa kanya habang nagtutupi ng mga damit namin ni Enzo. 

It is exactly 3 more weeks until the day of our marriage, and his mom agreed for a triple wedding. The three brides, including me, already talked about it briefly. We made the decision to talk about it when our families are complete. Together with the grooms family, and the brides. 

"But I don't want to leave them, they will be lonely here." Luke pouted and pointed his stuffed toys. I glared at Luke, at natakot naman siguro siya. He hugged each stuff tooy before leaving them on our bed. 

Yes naging ganon ka-clingy si Luke, simula kahapon hindi na siya mahiwalay sa aming dalawa ni Enzo. Ayaw niya daw kasi na naiiwan sa ibang mga adventures namin. "Tinatakot mo yung bata, ganyan ba magiging pakikitungo mo sa little Enzo's and little Ravenna's natin?" Pangaasar ni Enzo. 

Kagabi dahil nalasing ako ng todo, kabilang na doon lahat ng kasama namin kagabi tatlo lang ang nakasurvive. Sina Gavin, Cassian, at Enzo. Sila ang nagasikaso sa amin, nalaman ko din na med pala si Gavin. So good doctor ang peg niya kagabi, giving us medicine and talking about different medical terms that I would rather not talk about. 

"You really want a boy huh?" Tanong ko, nagusap din kasi kami kagabi, at napunta doon sa topic namin. Kung ano gagawin sa honeymoon, ilan anak, and all the married duties you have to uphold. 

"You drank a lot of tequilla huh?" Balik niya na tanong, okay scratch what I've said. Ako ang nagopen lahat ng topic na yon kagabi. "The day that I've met you again, you were also drunk, do you remember the things you do with me?"

Tumango ako, "Yes, what makes you think that I don't remember those scenarios with you?" Umiling siya bago ako paupuin sa lap niya. Buti nalang wala si Luke dito at baka magawa namin ang niece niya. Joke! 

"I don't know, 'cause you are always at your drunk state and I'm always here to take care of you because I love you. So I don't know if you remember completely every moment between us." Natawa ako sa dahilan niya, I played with his hair before answering him. 

"Of course I do, I cherish it. I burn other memories just to make room for moments like this. That was 2 years ago, and ever since then all my head is just worrying about you and us." 

He kissed me on the lips before letting go of me, may naisip nanaman akong dahilan so I talked again. "Also, if the world was coming to an end, I don't want to close my eyes without feeling like I lived with you." 

"You guys forgot to close the door..." Biglang sumulpot si Kaelyn sa pintuan at mukhang nakita at narinig ang lahat ng sinabi namin. "What ever, Laura said that we'll leave in 40." She closed the door for us, Enzo and I shot glances before going back to packing. 

I am wearing a backpack and Enzo is bringing the two baggae. "Everyone ready?" Tanong ni Laura, at tumango ang lahat. "Meet us in the warehouse, alam niyo na yon." 

The drive went for 30 minutes kasi walang traffic, wala pa yung iba dahil kami ang nauna dito. I was the first to check out the jet, good for 20 people lang to, sakto para sa laki ng grupo namin. I checked the signals and started the engine of it. 

After 15 minutes pumasok na din sa loob ang iba, "This is captain Hendrix are you ready to fly with me?" Tanong ko sa speakers, narinig ko naman ang mga sigaw nila sa likod. 

"Dami mong alam, Ravenna!" Calyx. 

"Excited lang yan sa kasal!" Ryota. 

"Baka maglaplapan kayo dyan ni Okazaki, sabihin niyo lang para mavideohan yung porn!" Maverick. 

"Bastos amputa." Jesse.

Natawa nalang ako sa kanila, "Fasten your seatbelts bitches, ready for take-off." I smoothly took the plane off the ground and we are now ascending. Estimated arrival namin ay 7:47pm. Plano namin dumiretso sa company namin para makita na ako ni daddy. Dati niya pa ako gusto makita, kaya nga ginawa niya yung finding Ravenna case eh. 

Inaantok na ako kaya nakipagpalit na ako kay Enzo, naks. May kapalit na ako tuwing long rides wag kayo. I rested my eyes for another 2 hours hanggat sa isang oras nalang bago kami lumapag. I switched again with Enzo kasi hindi niya alam ang way papunta sa companya namin. 

"Mga bugok at bakla, malapit na tayo magland. Ilagay niyo ulit yung seatbelt niyo kung ayaw niyo mamatay." Sabi ko bago iturn on ang signals na pababa na kami. I would like to explain it in an even more but it will just be boring. 

I started the descent at nakita ko ang lalaking nagpalaki sa akin na nakaabang. How did he knew that we were coming home? Oh wait di ko na kailangan magtaka, Riley probably made the call and told dad the news. Pero kung inunahan niya akong magsabi na magpapakasal ako sige papatayin ko na siya. 

I landed the plane on the pad, "Bakit di pa kayo bumababa?" Tanong ko dahil nakaupo pa rin sila. Until moment of realization hit me, "You want me to be the first one to greet him huh?" I took my shoulder bag before going out. 

I saw my dad tearing up already kahit ang layo ko pa, bumaba ako ng hagdan at tumakbo papalapit sa kanya. 

"I missed you honey."
