The first obstacle was spikes..
I stopped right before the set of the pointy needles in front of me, causing Lucy to crash into me, but luckily, I held my balance, and my clumsy side didn't come out.. Because if it did.. I would be a goner..

"Woah! I'm sorry, Shadow." Lucy said, shaking off the crash. She then eyed the spikes, and I could tell she was worried about almost making me fall into them.

On the other hand, Echo was excited about this new adventure, as his blue cloth was blowing in the wind.

And, Nebulas? She was curious about this new adventure.

The spikes moved back in forth, in a patterned motion. Certainly, there was a time limit on the platform where the spikes were in which they would reach you.. I looked at the spikes carefully, and I measured the time and distance of the spikes. If we tried, we would be able to get across to the next platform.

"According to my calculations, we have about five seconds each to get across." I said, looking at the steady, wooden platform which the spikes stood up on.

I looked back at the group of three, and my eyes were serious. "I'll go first." I said, my voice gave off such a serious tone that I was shocked. Usually, I would be this serious when alone.. Or with.. I don't know..

I was dreaming, I saw a figure that I talked to seriously. We were talking about our next adventure. The figure seemed to be male, but I couldn't make out what he looked like. We obviously knew each other very well, and he seemed like my best friend. I then woke up from the dream, and a book was layed on top of my head.

The flashback of the past ended, and I remembered whom I was talking serious to..
