Day 2, Sunday the 5th of June, morning
I woke up early on Sunday morning. 4 AM early. I grabbed my phone, I only had it for the time and to take photos (and secretly to keep semi-in touch with you guys). I pulled the cold hard object into my sleeping bag, then pulled up the hood and put the brightness on minamum. The sleeping bag was thick so no light escapted and to the others it looks as if I was sleeping. My phone got confession all over it, going from the frozen outside to the warm in. After chalking in with afew freinds I put in my headphones and listened to music, copying ii who had done the same. Doogle came and lay across my feet witch was adorable, and warm.
At some point I must have fallen asleep again. I must have taken out my headphones before doing so as they where in my bag. All I remeber about my dream was despretly needed to check the time but every time.i reached for my phone it fell further away. I realised my phone was right next to me so I did check the time. 7. The campsite rules where you where you must be silent between 10PM and 7AM. Fred unzipped his "Hobbet Hole" and waved at me. I told him to be quiet as not to wake the others. But Doogle saw we where up and came running over. Crown of course was allready awake, and Florence was awoken by the Sproodle. ii slept still though, but Crown took care of that by tripping up and falling on top of her.
Once we where all dressed we decided to head out and get breakfast. It was freezing outside, but all three mums where allready up and had bowls and spoons for us all. Meagyhad broght a cool box with enough milk to last all of us two mornings. June headed out the world's smallest brecfast bowls and we all ate our cerial. I decided to get my coat since it was so cold, then, since the bowls where too small to fit enough cerial in them, I had a second helping of brecfast.
We had to walk down the hill to do our teeth. Me ii and Florence set off first. It was getting hotter and I began to regret my coat. The three of us walked all the way down to the hub, where we went into the bathrooms and brushed our teeth. When we where done Florance took Doogles lead and he pulled her up the hill, so she arrived back at the camp before any of us.
It was getting very hot, but all the boys wanted to do was play Tig games. They suggested hideie, but ii had a better idea. The two of us walked out to the field and lay in the log grass under the out sun. With the soft wind blowing the grass every few minutes and the sun soaking up all water, it was like a bed made from nature. ii loves sunbathing and dose it whenever she can, I, more often then not, tag along and enjoy the sine with her. Before too long we looked up to see the boys running towards us at full speed. Sitting up, we asked them what they wanted. They still just wanted to play, so we sent them away. They had eachother for that. Before long Florance arrived with Doogle. She sat next to us and threw sticks for him. We chatted about the walck to come. After an even shorter time then before the boys returned. Florance, who is a very kind hearted and gullabe girl, gave in to them and we played hidey.
ii had thought of the best hiding place, she knew the suite well so I followed her over the fence on the other side this time. We sat in what was an out of use farmers field for awile before getting bored. Being scared the very picky, life-must-go-my-way, boys would call us cheeters, we climbed back into the woods, and began to stealthy make our way to camp. Hiding behind trees and army crawling through ferns to avoid being seen, we where ever so close to camp. But it did not last long. Crown spotted me and as I moved away he saw ii too. Fred was complaining about not being able to find Florance, when the girl herself emerged from the tent. After being told the tent, posisnted in the center of the trees, was not in the forest, Florance said we should stop the game and climb the hill.
The adults had packed our lunches and we stopped at the hub on the way to fill up on water. Letting Florance and the adults do the work, me and ii explored the creek (small river). ii lead the way sliding down the hill and onto the stoney shore. It was a dry weekend and lots of the river had dried up leaving half of it easily accessable to walck down. We explored under the bridge without feer of being told of, this was Scotland after all we have the right to roam. Soon I found a tree who's leaves fell down to the water creating a room under its leaning trunck. Brushing aside the blossoming branches, I e feed the magicall place. ii left to find Florance who was taking a rather long time so I was alone, well allone with the boys, who where on the bridge descussing the most grucum way to kill someone. I sang alittle AURORA before heading up onto the path myself. My mum came along with full water bottles. She handed one to me and I took a nice drink. Then once ii and her mum had come up we set off up the hill.
As it began to get steeper I fell behind the other girls. I can walk for miles on the flat but hills, especially after the walck to the hub, are mutch harder. Meghan gave me Doogle and he became a sled dog, pulling me up to the girls then past them. The walck took us into a field of cows. ii was saying how scared she was and I was telling her they wuldent stack, when we saw a calf. Feer of the cows forgotten we walked past just a little too close, anf it's mother charged at me Doogle and Crown. I ran back to me mum and June kindly took Doogle from me. Crown tried to keep running, but luckily listened when my mum told him to stop. After standing still for ten minutes hopeing the cows wuld loose interest we gave up. Slowly we began to back away as a grupe, and once we where over the dance and back in the sheep field Doogle gave me a hug witch really helped clam me down. Looking back I can see why the cow did it, I don't blame her, and I'm not mad at her, even though she could have killed us all. If you saw eight cows and a dog walking noisesly towards your baby you would want to protect it wuldent you? She just thought we where trying to harm her child, we weren't but everyone makes mestakes, even cows, she did nothing wrong.
We returned to the hub and had a drink and a snack, before deciding to go into town. So back up past the campsite we went. The town was a mile away, a downhill. We took some photos at the path gate. When we got there we went to the rocky riverside and ate lunch wile watching Doogle play on the river. I ate a Cwossont (I'm sorry Cwossont) a bag of crisps (or chips as the Americans call them) an apple and a huge chocolate cookie.
After lunch we went to the park where Florance got some amazing slow motion videos of me and Fred on the swings. Then, tried out after a night of allmost no sleep, we began the steep climb back up hill to the campsite, where we discussed what we planned to do in the afternoon.
This is a rock from the rode down to the hub
Despite the darker collering of this rock the path was mutch more of a sad y grey coller
