Levi sighed. It had a hard day at the studio, since not only does it have to influence all of humanity to get their freak on but also has to make material for the people of hell too. It would have been fine, after all, it loved getting to fool around as a hobby on the weekends. However, the producer was a literal perfectionist when it came to porn, so shoots would take hours at a time.

"Alright, the day's over, I just need to go home and relax a bit." It thought as it made its way back to his condo that he shared with the representative of despair, Damian.

In the home was everything as it should, since Damian took care of the chores. The dishes were done, the laundry was done and put away, everything was perfect. However, instead of Damian usually being in his room, he was on the couch, watching something on the tv. It took the black-haired sin to get used to modern technology, but he was slowly getting used to it. "Oh, Levi you're back." He said getting up, turning off his show, assuming Levi would want to watch tv.

"Bonne soirée, Damian..." Levi stated as it went towards the kitchen. As the red-haired demon looked through the fridge for a light snack or a drink, Damian decided to go up to it and talk, not having anyone to talk to since he usually stayed close to the lust demon.

It was fine at first, hearing Damian talk about what he did and where he put its things, but... He kept going on and on about every minute detail. Of course, it wasn't his fault Levi didn't tell him to stop earlier, but with the stress from today and the nagging from its producer, having someone else ramble wasn't helping it. "Oh, by the way... Um... Can we-"

"Damian, for the love of Satan can I please have some space, I had a hard day, and I just want some quiet, okay?" It asked. It wasn't yelling but its words still hurt. "... Okay... Sorry..." Damian spoke, softer than before, making his way to his room. With a sigh the older sin made some tea, hopefully calming down after all of this.

Meanwhile, Damian sat on his bed, his blanket wrapped around him. He knew that Levi wasn't mad at him, or at least he hoped, he couldn't really tell. But, even if it wasn't mad, he still aggravated it. That tone, that annoyance... He hasn't seen that in a while, at least from what he can remember. "What if it hates me now? Should I just stop talking to it for the rest of the day? For a week? A month??" He thought, seriously worried about this. "Wait, what if it kicks me out? I mean I could afford to live by myself but the mental anguish of being alone would drive me insane." He thought more.

Trying not to let his emotions take control, he got off his bed and did a few stretches before sitting at his writing desk. At said desk, he opened his journal and started writing down his feelings.

"Dear Journal,

It's been a while I know, though something happened today that shaken me to my core. My close friend and parental figure, Levi, was very upset with me. It was my bad for talking to it, I should have seen on the Calendar it had a filming session with its least favorite producer. It told me about it, and I assume I just forgot. Such a fool I am. I know I shouldn't think this way, but I believe it may be starting to lose favor with me, understandably so. I shall not say anything, of course, but I already apologized, if it doesn't accept it, then mayhaps I should find somewhere else to live. I shall try to win its favor before I do though."

He wrote this entry before falling asleep.

The next morning, Damian woke up at 5 am. "Perfect, I can make it breakfast before it decides to do something today." He thought as he made his way to the kitchen. Of course, he wasn't the best at cooking, but he'll try his hardest.

Carefully trying to not make any noise, he successfully made a lovely meal of kinda raw sausage, over cooked eggs, and burned toast for Levi, again, he wasn't the best cook ever. After cleaning the dishes, Damian paused. "I should leave a note for it to tell it this is for him." He thought, taking some scrap paper from the closet and writing 'For Levi' on it. Once that was finished, the black hair sin went back to sleep.

Later that morning, Levi woke up and went to the kitchen. Seeing the plate of inedible food, mainly since the raw sausage was touching everything, it pondered how it got there. "There are no dishes in the sink, not to mention the sink is dry, so it couldn't have been done here." It thought, dumping the contents of the plate into the trash can. "How could someone even break in? I mean it could have been Damian but why would try to poison me?"

Even later, when the despair demon reawaked, he went to see if Levi took the food. Seeing the empty plate in the sink made him happy, thinking that Levi loved his food so much. "Oh, Good morning, Damian. Uh, do you know who brought that plate of food in?"

"Nooo. Why do you ask?" He asked, trying to play coy. "Well, there was raw meat on there, I could have gotten sick if I ate that."

Damian paused. "O... Oh really?" He asked. "Shit could I have accidentally killed him again? Maybe... Maybe it's best if I just left. All I do is cause trouble for it and burden..." He thought, backing away.

Levi took notice of the nervous movement from Damian. "Damian, are you okay? Wait... Did you make that for me?" It asked. "I... I..."

The despair demon was stammering, unable to get his words out. He knew he should confess, since he was going to leave anyway, but the thought of being disliked even more was making him feel worse. "Damian, it's okay if you did, I just-"

"I did, I'm so sorry for ruining everything..." He apologized. "What? You didn't ruin anything." Levi stated, approaching slowly as to not startle the anxious sin. "But I did. I annoyed you yesterday, I almost poisoned you today, I should have just left before I even did that...!" Damian stated before covering his mouth. He wasn't supposed to say that last part.

"You... You were planning on leaving?"

"Y... Yes... I know it's an overreaction, but I keep screwing up everything, if it wasn't for me being able to clean dishes and laundry you probably would kick me out on the streets, not that I blame you." Damian rambled, pausing and scooting away realizing that he was. Levi paused before understanding everything. "Dami... Uh... It's alright if I call you Dami, right?"

"I... I guess?"

"Well, Dami, what happened yesterday wasn't your fault, my producer was just being une douleur dans mon cul [a pain in my ass]. I was just so irritated by him that I kinda snapped at you. I shouldn't have let out my frustration on you like that, upon which I am truly sorry for making you upset." Levi explained.

"Levi, it's fine, I should have-"

"Non, non, I get it, I mean, I was mad and you thought you shouldn't talk to me, right?"

"I did. How did you know?" Damian asked, shocked. "Well, let's just say I experienced this before." It stated, petting Damian's hair softly. "Now then, how about we do something? I remember you asking me to do something with you before I cut you off."

"Oh, um, there was this new brunch place, I don't even know what brunch is but, it seemed nice and was asking if we could go, but if you don't want to that's fine." Damian stated, still a bit anxious from what happened yesterday. "Brunch sounds good to me, let's go." Levi smiled warmly at him before taking him out.
