Overstimulation

"The shield dividing the hells is cracked what do we do about it?"

The team were having a meeting about it, since this was a key priority to be fixed. Well, besides Damian, thinking since he's newer he wouldn't really know what to do in the situation. "Well, we need to get Satan to fix it.  How did it even get cracked in the first place?" Garrett asked.

"Well, Preston was trying to do a handstand near it, and you can see where that lead." Walt stated.  "Oh putain, really?  Anyway, for the mean time maybe we could use tape to make sure nothing escapes." Levi suggested. As they discussed this, Damian was wandering the halls, not really sure what to do.

Without knowing it, he made it to the gate.  Unfortunately, the crack has gotten bigger, leaving a gap.  "Oh? What's this? I better do something about this gate." He muttered before turning away. But something was escaping from the crack, a slimy snail of a sin.

That sin being Envy, one of the ancient sins that tortured Humanity before being sealed away by God.  It didn't have a name, but it was surely there, ready to fulfil its purpose.

As Damian rummaged through the supply drawer looking for masking tape, that's when Envy stroked.  "Gah! What the hell is touching me?!" Damian thought, feeling the slime coming from the snail.  It was covering every ounce of his body, its sticky residue felt suffocating. It was so overwhelming, but he couldn't say anything, not that he didn't want to, but because it felt like his screams were being caught in his throat as if it was blocked.

Soon enough, the goop was too overwhelming.  His vision blacked before coming to a greyish room.  Inside was himself, a version of his self on the floor covered in the slime, and a crow man wearing a black suit.

"It's pathetic, isn't it?" The crow stated. "Huh? What do you mean?"

"You were so weak you couldn't even handle a little slime.  What would Levi think?  You care about its opinion, don't you?" It continued.  "Yes but-"

"You know what they say about leopards yes?"

"... No..." Damian stated as the bird came close.  "A leopard cannot change its spots... And some people cannot evolve... You will always be that weak, pathetic child your parents never wanted. And a failed artist no one would remember.  You will disappoint everyone, your 'friends', and yourself."

Hearing this, Damian sat against one of the walls of the room.  This birdman... It was right, wasn't it? He didn't want to believe it but, everything was pointing to it being the case.

Meanwhile, on the outside, Levi entered the break room to get the masking tape from the supply drawer.  That was until it saw Damian being attacked by Envy. "Sacre Bleu! Evan, get in here something escaped!"

As Evan ran in there, he noticed the sin.  "Are you shitting me? I'm gonna have to clean all this up!" The greenette complained as he sprinkled salt onto Envy, neutralizing it for a bit to be transported down.  "I'll clean the mess up, you just deal with the sin." Levi stated before getting a nod from Evan.

Levi looked at the despair sin, noticing he was shaking a bit. "Shhh, shh, I'll get you cleaned up." It said getting a roll of paper towels and bowl of soupy water.  Carefully cleaning to slime off of the younger demon, it still noticed that he was shaking and staying in a curled-up position.  "Oh non... What do I do?" It thought.

Thinking back to when it was alive, Levi remembered that his sister had moments like this, though that was years ago, not to mention it was a different person, so its old tactics might not work on Damian.

But it's better than letting him suffer.  So, carefully, it sat next to him.  "Damian.  Everything is going to be okay." It spoke softly.  This could be heard from his inner mind chamber.  "Levi...?"

This helped out of his self-deprecation spiral.  After some time, Damian returned to his body. "Huh? What's going on? Where-"

"Envy has been dealt with.  Don't worry, you did nothing wrong." The red head spoke.  "By the way... Do you have autism?"

"Huh? Uh- No?" Damian answered.  He himself wasn't sure but the fear of getting lobotomized was present.  "Damian it's okay if you are.  I'm not going to torture you for having autism, we moved a long way since the 1920's." It spoke, its voice still calm and soft.  "Besides, you wouldn't be the first sin with it.  Sebastian has Autism too."

"Ah, uh, at least I won't be alone I guess." Damian stated.  "How about we go home, we kinda have to anyway while Satan repairs the hell gate.  You can take a bath and I can make you a nice warm meal.  I can only imagine what you went through."

"Thank you, Levi." Damian smiled softly.
