Epilogue
"After this show, the tour is over, right?" Eva checked in with Matthew, kissing her boyfriend of 4 years on the cheek.
Matthew chuckled. "Yes, it is. You've only asked me that 25 times." He grabbed his guitar, sending Eva a smile. The same smile that made her heart beat a bit faster every time.
She shrugged, "What? I just wanna spend time with my pop star. I mean, it's not like you're around much!" She sang the last part, giving him a knowing look. Matthew raised his hands in surrender. "True, true. You win this time."
Eva grinned as his entrance music played. "I always win. Now go get onto that stage!" She pushed him out to his fans, where they all screamed upon sight of the musician. Eva chuckled. It never got old, watching him perform.

The concert was almost over. Eva was excited, since after this, his world tour was officially over, and they could hang out-without the paparazzi hounding them-for six months. Six months! Eva wondered how many strings he had to pull to get such a long break.
It was now Matthew's last song. Eva looked on, figuring he would do one of his hit singles and say 'Thank you Insert city name here!' and they would be done, off to six months in a house in Houston, being normal people.
But that was not the case.
Matthew smiled at the crowd, looking over at Eva before talking to them. "Hey guys, guys, settle down." He called out, the crowd slowly doing so. Once they were quiet, he kept on going. "Listen, I've had this woman in my life who has really been just amazing, and I love her to death. She's helped me through so much, and I can honestly say I love her. Some of you may already know who I'm talking about." The crowd screamed in response, everyone knowing that he was talking about Eva. After all, they had been publicly dating ever since a few months after they met in real life. Everyone thought their story was so romantic.
Eva shook her head at Matt's actions, smiling. He was so stupid sometimes, but she loved it.
"If you don't know who I'm talking about, then you will now. Will Eva Gonzales please come on stage?" He yelled, smiling over at Eva. The crowd began to chant her name, and Eva rolled her eyes, coming out onto the stage. The crowd screamed, upon sight of her. Matthew barely managed to get them under control.
You could hear a pin drop as Matthew turned to Eva, a nervous grin on his face. He pulled away his headpiece so that the crowd couldn't hear him.
"Eva. I love you, so so so much. More than you'll ever know." He took a breath. "These past four years have been amazing, and I can't wait for the rest of our adventures together. But there's one thing I have to do first."
Eva quickly realized what he was doing and gasped lightly, putting a hand over her mouth. "Oh my gosh..." she whispered.
Matt pulled a tiny box out of his pocket. He got on one knee, shaking a bit out of nerves.
The crowd screamed so loudly she could hardly hear Matthew, now yelling in hope of her hearing him.
"Eva, you have been the best girlfriend to me, and I know that you would be an amazing mother and wife. I guess what I'm saying is...well," he took a deep breath, scared he would mess up. "Eva Gonzales, will you marry me?"
The fans were going crazy. Some were holding their breath with anticipation, others were yelling at Eva since they wanted Matthew, and others were just screaming.
But in that moment, it was only Eva and Matthew in the room as she looked into his eyes, a stupid smile on her face.
"Yes, yes yes!" She nodded her head. Matthew beamed, slipping the ring onto her finger and kissing Eva in front of the crowd.
She pulled away, looking around at the stadium and then back at Matt. He smirked.
"Hello, Mrs. Valentine."
