Chapter 6- Rebel in my flesh

"Sideswipe!" An angered voice yelled from across the scrapyard. Sideswipe flinched at his angry leader coming his way. "Yes boss." He said timidly. "Where the pit have you been? Your never here anymore. I feel the only time we see you is on missions. Even then that is rare. You need to start being here more. We have training to do." Bumblebee shouted at the teen bot. "I've just been out." Sideswipe cowered back, unsure of what to say as to not tell anyone about his new formed relationship with a human. "Just been out? How come I don't believe that?" With his hands on his hips, Bee stared down at the young bot. "We'll talk about this later." Bee continued.

"There have been multiple disturbances going on downtown lately. Random items seem to be going missing out of warehouses around the area. I think its Decepticons." Bee suggested. The others went quiet in thinking about other possibilities. "Think they are trying to build another space ship, like Chop Shop tried." Strongarm suggest. "Hmm maybe, but we don't know what they are stealing. Fix-it, where do you think the con would most likely go next." Bee put his thumb and pointer finger on his chin, thinking hard. "I am unsure, I am trying to find out what has been stolen though the human database." Fix-it answered.

"Okay while you all figure that out. I'm going to and do stuff." Sideswipe said as he started backing towards the exit. Not giving them a chance to stop him. But he did hear Bumblebee scream his name as he raced out of there.

He races as fast as he can to get to his destination. As soon as her house comes into view, he puts the metal to the pedal, trying to go even faster. He drifts around, into the driveway. He stops just before he's about to hit a girl on her horse. As the dust begins to clear, he sees a very pissed off Clarissa and a bucking Koda. He turns his holoform on quick and jumps out of the car. "Sam! You idiot." She screams as she attempts to calm the bucking bronco down. "I'm so sorry." He apologized, unsure of what to do. She slowly gets the horse to turn in a few circles, walking around. Once at a peaceful gate, she leads him up to Sideswipe. She swings her leg around and jumps down.

"What were you thinking? You know better than to race in here. I don't even do it." She bellowed at him. He winces back in fear of the cowgirl in front of him. His short, blonde, cowgirl. He couldn't help but put a smile on his face as she continued to rant at him. She then snaps her fingers in front of his face, getting him out of his daze. "Are you even listening? Why the fuck are you smiling?" She snarled. "Your just so beautiful and I love that your mine." He pulled her into a hug, melting her to the core. She couldn't help but smile and she clung to his shirt.

"How about we put Koda back with the others and you and I go for a nice cruise along the river." He asked pulling away just a little to speak. "That sounds like a fantastic idea." She agreed happily. Sideswipe took the reins from her and the two walked into the barn to take off Koda's tack. The horse followed with a happy gate, picking his hooves up higher, not yet trotting, but more so excited. Sideswipe took her hand in his, squeezing tightly. She let out a cute giggle, squeezing back.

Sideswipe carried Koda's tack into the tack room, while Clarissa bushed him over, helping to get the sweat and dirt out of his fur. "Sam, I got a question for ya." She asked as she watched him walk back out to her and Koda. "Shoot." He wrapped his arms around her waist waiting for her question. "Would you like to stay for dinner tonight?" Her face stayed straight, watching herself brush her horse. She knew it was a stupid question, but she honestly just wants his company. After living on your own for so long, its nice to have someone else around. Sideswipe froze at her question, unsure of how to give her an answer. He knows for a fact, Bee would never let this happen. He relaxed and spun her around, so she was looking at him. Her cheeks turning red.

"I would love too." His answer brought a smile to her face. "But..." Her smile fell. "But if something comes up at work, you need to understand that my job comes first. As long as I don't get a call in, I will be here. With you, as long as you want me too." He kissed her forehead, bringing that smile back to her face. She understands all to well that his job comes first. He has to keep the world safe from Decepticons. One day she will tell him she knows. Just not today. She is enjoying her time with him all too much to ruin it.

They lead Koda out to the pasture and then head over to his alt. "After you m'lady." Sideswipe says taking a bow after opening his passenger side door. She let out a giggle as she walked over. "Thank you, kind sir." She gives him a graceful curtsey. Then she steps lighting inside, being careful not to get dirt inside the beautiful sports car.

Driving down a long-abandoned road, a familiar beat begins to play, making Clarissa shout with glee. "I love this song!!!" She shrieks with excitement, surprising the driver. She turns the music up and begins to rap along.

"Optimus Crime, Fight for your type, World under danger, better fight for your life, Life is a price, Demons alive, Break from the hell, I put my life on the line, Uh, I'm the law of the future, Rebel in my flesh, Fall for the mutant, For the laws of the crime is not an illusion, I'm a monster that strikes for the loser, I'm a ruler, yeah we grind hard, Put the devil on my face like a time bomb, Be cooler, big rules, a icon, From a slave to a bible."

Sideswipe looks at her funny as she sings the next part but can't help bobbing his head to the music.

"I'm a bullet riddled tank with a new coat of armor, I'm a monster in disguise and I came here to conquer, Like a really shitty car turned into a Transformer, Woah-oh-oh-oh, I'm a Transformer, I'm a tiny scared puppy in the shape of a Pitbull, I'm a fire breathing dragon with my neck in a shackle, I need to morph into one because my paint start to crackle, Woah-oh-oh-oh, I'm a Transformer, Woah-oh-oh-oh, I'm a Transformer"

He seems mesmerized by her. Her hair sway back and forth as she sings and dances along to the beat. Her lips as the words glide off them. Her soul shining through her deep blue eyes.

"Woah-oh-oh-oh, I'm a Transformer" She strikes a pose and ends in laughter. Sideswipe couldn't help laughing along with her. Her laughter is just so contagious. "Wait did it say shitty car turn into a Transformers?" Sideswipe cried out, looking extremely offended. "Yes, its just a song." Clarissa tried her best to keep a straight face, knowing exactly why he asked. "Why?" She asked, curious as to what he would say. "Oh...No reason." He looks straight ahead, and a light blush attacks his cheeks. "Are you offended that they called it a shitty car that turned into a transformer. You know Transformers aren't real." She continued to pry, having fun watching him squirm.

Sideswipe shifted in his seat, glancing nervously at her. "Of course, there not. But just saying if they were, I doubt they would drive shitty cars. Probably more like fancy sport cars like this one." He patted the dash, a small grin on his face. "And Optimus Crime? Who came up with that?" He blurted out. Clarissa covered her giggle with her hand. "I don't know, I didn't write it." "Well its stupid." He grunted out. Clarissa suppressed another giggle.

They continued to listen to music as they made their way around. Laughing and singing along to different songs. Clarissa helped open up Sideswipes eyes to different kinds of music. He had come to love songs with a great beat. Anything that makes the bass loud. "Oh, look its Denny Clay's junk yard." She mused as they drove past the scrap yard. "He likes to call it his vintage salvage depot." Sideswipe corrected her before thinking about it. "Oh, you know Denny?" She seemed surprised. Though it would be a good cover for Autobots. "Uh...Yeah...um he helps me and my team out every once and awhile. We also like to hang out and stuff." He said sheepishly. "Ah. Denny is a great guy. He's fun to hang out with. I knew him and his ex-wife very well. He watches my horses sometimes, when I go on racing tours. His son Russel used to come ride my horses when he was younger. But after his divorce, I don't see much of either anymore. You'll have to tell him I say hi the next time you see him." She reminisced.

There fun soon came to an end, Sideswipe got a comm from his leader. "Sideswipe come in, Sideswipe." Clarissa looked at the radio in confusion. "Who's Sideswipe?" She asked. "It's a nickname they gave me down at the station." Sweat began to glide down his face. His windshield began to steam.

"Looks like I'm going to have to end our little joy ride." He quickly gets back his composer, hoping she doesn't ask to many questions. "I kind of figured." She said sadly. He sped up and looped to go back to her house. Upon drifting into the driveway and pulling to a stop. "Your door won't open." Clarissa pushed on the door, but nothing happened. "That's cause I'm not letting you go yet." Before she can say anything, he pulls her in by her shirt. He presses his forehead against hers, taking in her scent. "Your so beautiful." He whispers to her. Their noses touch for a moment, as their lips brush against each other.

"SIDESWIPE!" His name roared throughout Sideswipes cabin. Causing both to pull away immediately. "I'm sorry," He blushes, "I guess I'll see you later." "Yeah see you later." She is quick to open the door and step out. She stays standing, watching him whip around and speed out of her driveway, kicking up dust as he goes. Her fingers lightly touch her lips, feeling the very spot that almost kissed his lips.
