Chapter 28.

The Terror return.

Abbie banged the wheelchair into bran.

She thanked god.

They were back in Sean Finns  bedroom.  

She turned and in the wardrobe mirror she saw Catbad framed in the cave tunnel with the spear in him.

He hung slumped dead tied to the stone. A raven crowing on his shoulder.

She looked at the picture on Finns wall.

It was an exact copy.

Almost like a photograph of the scene.

She looked back into the mirror and two ravens flew onto the ground in front of Catbad.

The raven on his shoulder seemed to fall down to its two sisters.

Then they changed grew twisting and screaming into  three naked goddess's.

They picked themselves up from the mud.

One turned their head and looked directly at Abbie. 

She was beautiful but her eyes was completely black like a crows. 

Abbie felt fear. 

Cold fear.

Her leg shook.

Relief filled her as the image faded and  disappeared.

Then she heard the bear roar. 

Barn barked.

She looked round the bedroom but found no sign of that bear.

Then she heard it again.

She realised the roars was coming from   behind the wall with the pictures on it. 

The bear must have appeared there.

Behind that wall was...

Her bedroom. 

She and Bran could hear a commotion coming from her bedroom.

She could hear the bear and Bran fighting and then Cu Culainn's voice coming in to help.

Abbie realised she was back at the time this whole thing started. 

She looked down at Cu Culainn he was still in the wheelchair barely breathing but still unconscious not looking good.

She ran out of the room into the corridor looking for help. 

There she saw the attic ladder and its hatch door open.

She slowly walked over to it and looked up.

Miss Finn was looking down at her in shock.

"Sorry Miss Finn, I just had to go."
