Chapter 83- More Secrets About Kozak
Inspirational quote: Play the moments. Pause the memories. Stop the pain. And rewind the happiness.

Agent Ezekiel pressed his air horn about a trillion times, but the same thing happened again.
Dr Kozak and his sister Elizabeth just wouldn't and couldn't stop hugging each other.
"Guys..." Ezekiel screamed, watching them kind of annoyingly.
"Guys..."
They didn't stop hugging each other.
Ezekiel didn't even bother yelling guys a third time, because he had a much smarter idea by then- to blow the air horns right at their ears.
So he did that of course. Ten times.
"What the heck, Ezekiel!"
"What's your problem?!"
Agent Ezekiel smiled faintly at them even though Dr Kozak and Elizabeth were full on frowning at him.
"You guys were hugging each other for too long. Like ten minutes now. Plus Dr Kozak has some work to do."
"I really don't-"
"Yes you do!" Agent Ezekiel lied, where Dr Kozak just shot him a long, hard and spiteful look.
Agent Ezekiel didn't reply, as he had turned to Elizabeth who was mad at him for practically making her deaf.
"I'm sorry I pressed the air horn near your ear ten times, Elizabeth."
Elizabeth smiled back at him, for some reason, not really saying anything.
"It's fine. I forgive you. Just don't do it again, Ezekiel."
Ezekiel didn't listen to her.
"I was joking." He told her, after he pressed it near her ear an eleventh time. He laughed, where Elizabeth just folded her arms, but then couldn't resist laughing too.
"Hey. I kinda like that air horn. I can use it to annoy people. May I keep it?"
Ezekiel looked at her kind of suspiciously, but didn't say anything else.
"Okay... Sure...." He told her, giving it to her, where Elizabeth just pressed the air horn a thousand times in Ezekiel's ear.
Elizabeth couldn't help laughing.
"Okay. But seriously. Dr Kozak here has some work to be doing," Ezekiel lied, turning to Dr Kozak who was currently having a text argument with his sister Valentina as per usual throughout the phone, and was so mad that he wasn't really or entirely paying attention.
"Yeah yeah whatever. But can Elizabeth stay here? I work better with her around."
Elizabeth turned red where Dr Kozak smiled at her, Agent Ezekiel noticing and giving them a look as if they were all insane.
"You guys are all crazy, man!"
No one replied. They couldn't anyway, because just then Agent White from the room in which Agent Marcel died appeared at the laboratory, claiming for Elizabeth.
"Elizabeth? Elizabeth? Elizabeth! There you are! I've been looking for you everywhere."
Without even saying hi to either Dr Kozak or Ezekiel, Agent White stormed inside, snatching Elizabeth's hand and walking away.
"Whoa whoa whoa. Wait. Where are you taking me?"
"My sister needs help, she did the wrong mission. Agent Sylvester gave her the wrong one accidentally and now we have to do the right one. Agent Sylvester is waiting for us to help her. Especially you. Apparently, you're the go to person when people do the wrong mission. No offence, Dr Kozak."
Elizabeth had groaned internally at the thought of doing the wrong mission, and whilst she groaned, Dr Kozak said something else.
"Wait. Hang on. Agent Sylvester? I swear I killed him because he killed my son?"
Agent White nodded in return, not letting go of Elizabeth's hand.
"Yeah. But your non identical twin brother brought him back to life just now with your resurrecting machine."
Dr Kozak fainted.
Well he was about to, but didn't.
In the meantime, Agent Ezekiel and Elizabeth were just staring at him horrifically.
"What?" Dr Kozak hissed at them, still angrily texting Valentina.
"You have a non identical twin brother?" Ezekiel shouted. "Really?"
"Yeah...?" Dr Kozak replied, looking at him really confusingly. "I swear you guys have seen him? Haven't you?"
Agent Ezekiel shook his head really slowly, Agent White in the meantime forcing Elizabeth to leave because they were running out of time and it was claustrophobic in there.
But mainly the former.
Obviously.
"Okay. Bye Dr Kozak, bye Ezekiel!"
Then her and Agent White were off.
"Your sister said bye to me really unenthusiastically," Agent Ezekiel realised, frowning.
"She was smiling, dude."
"Guess it's just me seeing things then," Agent Ezekiel replied, siting down next to Dr Kozak.
Dr Kozak didn't reply straight away. Mainly because he was still texting Valentina with a mad look on his face.
"You better go to bed, Ezekiel. It's nearly five am. And god, I hate Valentina! Why is she my sister for god sake!"
"I'm not going anywhere," Ezekiel told him, where Dr Kozak stopped what he was doing because his phone died once again.
He stood up to charge it then sat back down again.
"Why aren't you going anywhere?"
Ezekiel: Because I have to talk to you about something.
Dr Kozak: Sure thing. What is it?
Ezekiel: *stands up to shut the door behind him and sits back down opposite Dr Kozak again* First of all. You have a non identical twin brother? Really?
Dr Kozak: *stops texting Agent Valentina to stop and stare at Ezekiel blankly in the face* Er...yeah?
Agent Ezekiel: Why didn't you tell me this before?
Dr Kozak: *indirecting the real reasons on why he killed Astera and Lauriel* I just keep things to myself sometimes. I'm a low key introvert. I don't share everything I know with people in case they don't believe me.
Agent Ezekiel: Okay so.... What's your non identical twin brother's name?
Dr Kozak: Laurence.
Agent: *kind of surprised* Laurence with a u or a w?
Dr Kozak: How am I supposed to know? I haven't seen him for thirty years. He ran away from home when he was six, claiming it to be my fault apparently, and he didn't come back. So I haven't seen Laurence since. I hate him though. He's always like 'Uhhh I'm two seconds older than you, Demetrius, you need to respect me at all times'. I hate him so much.
Ezekiel: *avoids the question completely* Can I ask you something?
Dr Kozak: *chokes on his Capri sun, nearly swallows the straw* Okay. What is it?
Ezekiel: If you don't like your brother then how did he see KOZAHKISTAN HEADQUARTERS from the outside when you didn't allow him to?
Dr Kozak: I have no idea. Laurence is really smart like that .
Ezekiel: You kinda sound jealous.
Dr Kozak: I'm not jealous. He's just really smart, like I said earlier. Honestly. Ever since birth, he's gotten 100% in every test he's done. His lowest score in every test he's ever done since we've been at school is 99%. Basically, he's never really failed anything. Unlike me.
Ezekiel: Your lowest is ninety.
Dr Kozak: No. I've failed before. I've gotten 30s and 40s in tests. I have to admit.
Ezekiel: Oh yeah. So is your brother's name like Doctor Laurence or something?
Dr Kozak: I know. But still. And no. Professor Laurence.
Dr Kozak sighed for a while, not saying anything, drumming his fingers on the table.
Ezekiel: You okay, Demetrius?
Dr Kozak: *slowly spins around on his spinning chair, not saying anything* Yeah. I'm fine. Why?
Ezekiel: You seem kind of frustrated these days.
Dr Kozak: I'm not frustrated.
Ezekiel: Well, you look really tired.
Dr Kozak: *is lying helplessly once again* I'm not tired!
Ezekiel: *really annoyed* Don't say that. You haven't slept in a long time. Can't remember now long now but you must be tired.
Dr Kozak rolled his eyes in disbelief.
Dr Kozak: I'm not tired!
Ezekiel wasn't falling for it.
Ezekiel: You look like you need to sleep. You could die without sleeping, Demetrius. The highest anyone can go without sleeping is 10 days.
Dr Kozak: I've got to watch over Kieran and Esperanza, so I can't sleep even if I wanted to, and I do. I really do, but I can't. I'll get in trouble. Being here is so stressful.
Ezekiel stared at him blankly, scanning him up and down. This wasn't like Demetrius at all.
Ezekiel: You're acting strange. You've never voluntarily cussed KOZAHKISTAN HEADQUARTERS before.
Dr Kozak: You just don't understand, do you?
Ezekiel: And dude. You seriously need to eat something. When was the last time you ate?
Dr Kozak: Those chocolate chip cookies like half an hour ago.
Ezekiel: I meant proper food, Demetrius.
Dr Kozak: I'm fasting so April 28th, last year. And before that, the week before.
Ezekiel: *absolutely gobsmacked* Didn't know you were fasting.
Dr Kozak: Eh.
Ezekiel: What's wrong? You're not usually like this. Look at you, I heard you've tried to leave this place fifty times in the past three days. Your sister Nurse Elizabeth told me that just now.
Dr Kozak: I hate Elizabeth. And I genuinely don't want to talk about it.
Ezekiel: Honestly though, Demetrius. I'm becoming really worried about you. Why do you hate this place so much? You built this place for crying out loud, and it rocks. I love it.
Dr Kozak just shrugged before saying anything else.
Dr Kozak: It's stressful, Ezekiel.
Ezekiel: How?
Dr Kozak: Don't worry about it.
Ezekiel: I'm worrying about it.
Dr Kozak: I just wish my godforsaken father never influenced me! Honestly, if he wasn't a serial killer then I wouldn't necessarily be one too. It's like that Jekyll and Hyde novel where Jekyll transforms into Hyde and kills people without any meaning to. That's like me! I don't like killing people, Ezekiel! I just can't control myself. I hate my life. Honestly. I'm like the cruddiest spy ever. Which is why I shouldn't be one! Should I rant to you about why I should leave here right now? Because I have about nine million and one reasons why!
Ezekiel: I don't think that Jekyll punished himself by being so hard on himself, Demetrius. And plus I found out the real reason why you killed the people you killed. Lauriel killed your son, Astera killed your grandfather.
Dr Kozak: You just don't understand! Why are you finding this out right now when it happened like three days ago?!
Ezekiel: I don't know.
Dr Kozak: Plus I also killed Professor Florentine.
Ezekiel: *makes a large o shape with his mouth in disbelief* You killed your godfather?
Dr Kozak: Yes.
Ezekiel: Why?!
Dr Kozak: Because you texted me saying that he told Agent Sylvester, who is now miraculously alive again, to kill my son.
Ezekiel: I was joking!
Dr Kozak stood up and slapped him.
Ezekiel: I wasn't joking. I was just messing with you. He did tell Sylvester to kill your son.
Dr Kozak: Never joke like that, Ezekiel! Honestly. I'm not in the mood.
Ezekiel: Do you sometimes wish that there was a way for you not to kill other people?
Dr Kozak: Yes. My daughter destroyed my gun, and now I've lost all of my super powers.
Ezekiel: All?
Dr Kozak: Yes! All.
Ezekiel: Telepathy?
Dr Kozak: Lost it!
Ezekiel: Teleportation?
Dr Kozak: Lost that.
Ezekiel: Ambidexterity?
Dr Kozak: Can only write with my left hand now.
Ezekiel: Why left?
Dr Kozak: Weakest hand.
Ezekiel: Your daughter destroying your gun took away your ability to write with your strongest hand?
Dr Kozak: Yeah... I was born right handed. *writes something down on a piece of paper with his right hand* Wait. Nope! Can still write with it! Thank god. My handwriting is sloppy with my left hand. And apparently left handers live 8 years shorter on average than right.
Ezekiel: Gee, Demetrius. Thanks for making me feel bad.
Dr Kozak didn't reply.
Ezekiel: Can I ask you something?
Dr Kozak: Go ahead.
Ezekiel: What are your opinions on Kieran and Esperanza?
Dr Kozak: I don't know. I like them, hate them but they annoy me at the same time. Really hard question, if you ask me.
