Eragon's POV ( I figured that I could change it up for a little while) 

I watched as a new rider passed overhead and I was about to get on Saphira and go and challenge them, but there was a feral roar and we all looked towards the sound to see the ocean's waters rise to reveal a dragon of unmatched beauty. Everyone waited as it shot out of the water faster than we could see and then I saw the new rider get thrown off his dragon while screaming a name and the new dragon blew ice on the red dragon as they fell through the air and the ground shook as the impact shook the ground and we took the surprise to our advantage and we started to kill the men as they were distracted but soon the yells, screams, and roars of war continued. I felt the new dragon on the red dragon staying still but putting a claw against their neck to keep them from moving and then it hung it's head in grief and sadness as I cut through the soldier in-front of me. Then it seemed to tighten it's grip around the red dragon and the rider screamed trying to run to his dragon but having to get through people that got in his way, and then there was a roar and we all froze as there was a series of thumps as the new dragon got off the red dragon making it's rider breathe in relief. Then it rose to full height and it was bigger than any dragon that I've seen before, ever, it was at least four maybe five times Saphira's size and it's scales rippled and seemed to move as it did like the water, and the claws were entirely black. Everything about it was just as Oromis and Gladr had described, but it's eyes were covered in silver and I took a step back as it roared again and ran into the army with a speed that I could barely see. 

Back to normal

I stopped killing as I killed enough of the evil to calm me slightly but I stopped with my scales covered in blood and gore and the taste of it in my mouth, but I felt five soldiers coming at me with swords, and I just hit them off with my tail breaking their bones and shattering their spines and skulls as they collided together. Then I walked through the evil and dead crushing many under-paw as I made my way to the shore and I walked in letting the water cleanse my scales and mouth of the blood and other things and a few tears fell into the water before my head passed and I sank to the bottom in sadness and grief at being unable to avenge my family and being discovered for nothing as the seas became murky and brown mimicking my sadness. 

I stayed there as the sounds of war and the dying ceased and I felt the red dragon and it's rider fly away with Eragon's sword, I never liked it anyways, but I buried my face in the sand not caring to hide my appearence at all. Then I felt something enter the ocean at a fast rate and I opened my eyes to see that it was Saphira with Eragon on her back and I breathed out and a water bubble formed around their heads letting them breathe without the need for spells as they came towards me. 

Eragon's POV

I muttered a short spell allowing us to breathe underwater and I asked Saphira if we could go and check on the new dragon but she interrupted by saying that she knew what I thought and wanted and she agreed with it. As we dived from the air I heard Roran calling out making me pull up on Saphira and leveling her out partway there and I asked her to wait while Roran asked what he wanted to. 

Roran what do you want I asked him slightly annoyed

How do you know if it's safe, it could hurt you too, it could-- he started

I believe that if it wanted to hurt us then it would've during it's anger and I need to thank it for helping us even if it was in plain anger I said and he sighed in defeat letting me go and I told Saphira that we could go. 

Finally I thought you'd never end she said annoyed and slightly playful and I chuckled before we hit the water and she swam down as the spell let us breathe, and then there were a few bubbles that rose and they floated to us joining and then they fit around Saphira's head and mine and I dissipated the spell seeing that we wouldn't need it. 

They must be friendly to help us twice I said to Saphira and she hummed in agreement grunting slightly with effort as we dived. Then we saw a shape just a little further and I uttered a spell clearing the area of the murky brown, and it revealed the dragon laying on the bed with it's eyes closed. 

It's beautiful Saphira said in my head and I dismounted and swam around the new dragon in a slow process trying to find anything that might have harmed them but I saw nothing so I just stare at the patterns and beauty of it and then I smacked myself making the bubble waver as my hand went through it and hit my head. I felt the water ripple as well as the ground from a series of little shock waves, and I realized that it was laughter. 

For one blessed by the ancients, you are a rather strange one she said and I was confused, how'd she know unless she searched my mind, but I didn't feel her search my mind before and her voice was as beautiful as she was echoing in melodies of love and nature but with a slight sadness and pain in it oh don't worry when you were blessed by the ancients I was awoken from sleep guarding the ship your brethren was on, and letting loose my anger on evil ships, and when I searched your mind I only looked for things that would've lead me to believe that you weren't worthy for Saphira, but you are and I do not worry in that matter anymore. 

She talked like a queen and I had so many questions about where she came from, who she was, and what happened to her family. As soon as I thought about what happened to her family a deep rumbling went through the seas making me and Saphira flip and drift off a little, and I swam back to Saphira and remounted her and then was about to ask about the subject when I saw the deep sadness in the new dragon's eyes. 

It's fine, a true queen should say what's on her mind even if they do not want to for fear of being weak, but I am not weak and I as well as you now know that I felt Saphira go stiff under me and I was in shock do not bow, I do not like it and it is not needed anymore, for I have barely any subjects and none that know of my existence. As  for my past and what happened to my family, we were attacked by a dark drake and a man riding upon it, and it took us by surprise. First it killed all the other dragons, but mother never told me for fear of me wanting to help which I would've, and then he found her and killed her after a long fight. Mother commanded me to stay hidden, even as a sword was driven through her scales with magic and into her heart, and I couldn't disobey her, so I stayed under the water deep in the sea training, and becoming stronger and faster until I came to the surface ready to find him and kill them both for messing up my life, but then I ran into you and I saw everything as you trained with Saphira and met the gold dragon I still want to rip him apart from what he did to you Saphira. No thing especially not one of our own should disrespect another of it's kind like that, even if they are not destined or matched mates, and one likes the other who does not feel for them. She let out a sigh that blew us back in the water, and continued. 

Tonight was as close as I came to completing that goal undetected, but now that they know of me I do not know what to do, and I do not know who to kill to avenge my family and kind she got up and turned about to leave and I looked at Saphira who nodded. 

Tell her she said so I faced the queen with new vigor

First I thank you for helping in the battle above, and second I wish of your help in defeating an evil man and his dragon named Galbatorix I said and this made the queen dragon freeze and she turned a head and looked at me with determined and angerfilled eyes. 

Who is this person and how does this relate to me she said and I told of Galbatorix's past and that he killed a rider and made his second dragon accept him, and the queen got a look of sadness, and I continued of how he killed the dragons of the past and made the other riders join him by force making them do things they shouldn't, and when I was done the queen was fully turned around and listening intently. 

I will help you defeat this being, and I may be able to free his dragon from his grasp and find him a rider he should accept, even if his old one, or destined one was killed before he was able to be raised and claimed by them, and I want a share in killing the rider for my family and the ancients of old who died in vain under his blade. 

Deal I said and flew back to the surface but stopped wait what's your name

Tempest and I shall follow you in the seas as you lead me to the place I shall go to train and help you she said and disappeared.
