Today is Wednesday. And also, the third day since I last talked with Jacob.

I tried my hardest to avoid him and always mingle with Duchess and Alexa.

Not until, one lunch break and me and Duchess left Alexa to watch over our bags while we order food.

As soon as we got our orders on a tray, we returned to our table only to see Jacob sitting beside Alexa.

At first, I wanted to run away but realized that doing so would only cause intrigues from the school population for ignoring the star player of the uni.

It was Duchess who went in first to sit across Alexa and I was seated across Jacob.

From the looks of it, the two seems to be comfortable with each other.

They were even giggling when we arrived.

Both me and Duchess raised intriguing eyebrows at her and sat across from her.

On our table were a lot of chocolates and even a pint of ice cream.

Me and Amara's eyes widened and kicked her legs beneath the table.

Alexa threw us a glare and tried to act casually.

"Oh, mga kaibigan ko nga pala. Sila Duchess and Amara." Alexa smiled at him while introducing us.

"I know them." Jacob grinned at us.

"Yes, kilala namin ang isa't isa, Lex." I scoffed and chewed on my fries. "Kaklase kaya natin siya. Wag obvious na natutulala ka sa kanya kasi."

Alexa glared at us and slapped her hand in annoyance.

"Luh! San nanggaling yun?" Alexa asked in disbelief, now twirling her carbonara with her fork.

I didn't notice the food that she has because my attention earlier were on the chocolates on top of our table.

"Ang cute niyo!" Jacob commented and bit on his crispy chicken sandwich.

We saw Alexa blushed and this time, I really kicked her lightly on the shin.

"Aray naman!" Alexa groaned and we smiled at Jacob who was looking at the three of us in amusement.

We, three, tried to act our normal selves when we know, deep down, that our friend, Alexa, likes him.

Is it just me or I can feel his stares on me.

I tried my hardest to act normal as if me and Jacob don't know each other or even hang out together secretly before.

We ate our food and it stung in my chest the feeling I have grown for him.

After our encounter on the road where I ignored his explanations and ran away, he never approached me nor made any move to talk to me.

I have no idea on what he is planning to do or he is just respecting my request.

The bell rang signalling our next and last class for today, and the four of us, made our way to our room, with Alexa and Jacob still talking behind us.

I acted as if I did not care and me and Duchess just headed on inside our room to our assigned seats.

Our professor arrived and I listened absentmindedly and before I knew it, finally, we were dismissed.

From what I heard earlier when I passed by the library after I went to the restroom, Miss Lomibao was on leave today and a faculty meeting was held there too, so I am not needed there today.

I can go home and rest this body and also my heart.

With tired body, I hailed a jeepney and was brought home immediately.

I was searching my bag for our house keys because neither Amaris and Amira will be at home early tonight due to their duties in their respective night jobs when I saw who was waiting for me at our gate.
