Lea's P.O.V

"Aw." I hiss in pain when Selene put a wet cloth against the back of my head. 

"Sorry."

I let out a sigh when I felt the pain going away. I really wanna asked how she got here and who Caleb is, who is still here in my house. He was leaning against the counter looking at us two. I wanna know how she and Wyatt can just walk free, but still be locked up because of Robert. 

 This doesn't make any sense. 

The other thing that is confusing is how Caleb knows Nate and what Selene meant with that she have been watching him for days. 

"I know you wanna ask me something." Selene said not taking her eyes from my head. 

She knew me to well. I clear my throat sitting more straight. 

"What happen to you guys? Why are you and Wyatt walking around like your free, but still you guys are trapped by Robert?" 

Selene let out a sigh putting the cloth down on the counter. 

"It's complicated." 

I rolled my eyes at her letting out a groan. 

"Wyatt said the same thing, but I'm not a little girl Selene. I'm eighteen and if you don't know I turned eighteen yesterday." 

A smile came to her face when I was done ranting. I didn't expect that reaction, but okay. 

"Why are you smiling?!" 

She took my hand in her giving a little squeeze. 

"You're still the same after all those months." 

I let out a groan rolling my eyes at her. 

"That's not the answer that I wanted." I said a little impatient. 

"Listen I can't tell you anything. Even if I want to I can't. Me and Wyatt want you to be save." 

I look back at her and saw that she was serious now. 

"But I don't want to be save if you too aren't! Things are happening here Selene and right now I'm a part of it. This gang knows who I am, so if you guys are near me or not I'm not gonna be save." 

Selene looked at Caleb before looking at me. 

"I have heard of them, but don't worry I don't think they would bother you anymore. Their probably just kids who wanted to scare you that's it." 

I heard Rose saying the same thing to Aaron, but I don't think it's true. 

"Still you and Wyatt aren't save if you stay with Robert. You don't know it, but Rose and Aaron are of you guys case. Their boss said that you two aren't worth looking for anymore." 

She look down at her hands letting out a sigh. 

"How do you know?" Rose and Aaron never told me, but I figure it out when they brought everything home. I could hear them talk at night when I would go to the bathroom. They would be down stairs working on it and I would hear everything. 

"I heard them. Selene this is your only chance to be free. To get your old life back." 

She shook her looking back up. 

"A life where my parent's would lie to me? Or a life where I wouldn't see them? Lea They weren't my real parent's and they lied about it." 

I bite the inside of cheek looking at her. I could hear how much it hurt talking about it. 

"This may seem like a bad life, but at least I have a brother and friends who aren't lying to me." 

"So I'm lying to you?" I asked hurt. 

She shook her head. 

"No of course not. It's just that." 

"Just what? That you were done being the best friend of the loser? That you were done being bullied because of me?!" 

I was so angry. 

After all what happen, they leaving me. I don't want this anymore. 

"Lea it's not that." 

I shook my head walking to my door. 

"I'm sorry, but if you're not gonna tell me I want you out of my house." 

I open the door and looked at her. She let out a sigh looking at Caleb before walking towards me. Caleb was right behind her not saying a thing. 

Before she walked out the door she stopped right in front of me. 

"Lea I'm sorry." 

I nodded my head. 

"I'm sorry too, but I just can't keep living like this." 

"I understand." 

She walked out the door followed by Caleb who gave me a small smile. 

I didn't bother to look at them driving away and just hut the door. I let out a sigh leaning my head against the door. I wish I know what they were doing. Something is really wrong and they don't want me near them now. 

I know that this was the last time would see Selene and that I just kicked her out my house, but I don't have the energy anymore to do this. I'm tired and it isn't even noon yet. I could go back to school, but that would mean facing Nate again. 

So nope. 

I don't think Selene would be there to help me again. Maybe it's beter if I just stay home and do nothing today. I removed my head from the door and began to walk up the stairs. 

I ran a hand through my hair while walking into my room. 

I jump away when my door slam shut behind me. 

Before I could do react someone grabbed me from behind and put hand on my mouth.
