Cas watched in anger and partial sadness from across the bar as some woman flirted with Sam.

This was supposed to be a night just for them. They were gonna eat, come to the bar, have a few drinks, then go home.

A night for them to just hang out as friends.

They got the food eating out the way and partially the bar thing, but now, here comes this woman taking the younger Winchester away from him.

Cas had never told anyone, but he liked the younger boy. Everyone thought he loved Dean, but he loves Dean on a brotherly level. He rescued him from hell for fathers sake!

Anyway, Cas liked Sam, but... He didn't know what he was feeling until he asked Dean. He found out that what he was feeling was love.

Cas was in love with Sam. According to Dean he was, anyway.

Cas gave Sam a fake smile from across the bar when he saw Sam give him a thumbs up. Sam lead the girl out the bar, leaving Cas all alone.

With a sigh, Cas finished his shot and flew back home, heart broken and slightly angry.

He huffed and took off his trench, laying it on the chair in his room. He kicked off his shoes and flopped down on the bed.

He wished that Sam realized his feelings for him. But, he knew that Sam was straight and wouldn't go out with him.

Unless...

The next morning, Sam woke up and pulled on his boxers. He noticed that the girl was gone and sighed in relief, glad he didn't have to deal with any awkward confrontations.

Yawning, he walked out his room and went to the kitchen. He walked in and froze when he saw another girl. That's not who I brought here last night...

He quietly walked up behind her, and in an instance, he took her down and had her pinned to the floor, his knee pressed into her back. "Who the hell are you?!"

"S-Sam! It's me! Cas!"

"Like hell you are!!"

"It's me, Sam! I promise!"

Just to hopefully prove it, Cas made a few of the lightbulbs pop.

Sam knew it was Cas and got up. "Sorry, Cas..." He pulled the angel up. "But, why are you... That?! Where's Jimmy?!"

"I, uh..."

Cas was at a lost for words. He didn't expect this to happy this way. He planned on seducing Sam at a bar, Sam take him home, then after their night, reveal to him who he was.

"Cas? You alright?"

"Um, no, Sam, I'm not..."

"Well, what's wrong?"

"I love you, Sam. But I figured that you would never love me back, because of my vessel. So... I switched to this one, in hopes that you would reciprocate your feelings for me."

Sam stared at him in shock. "Cas... Can you go back to Jimmy?"

Cas, feeling heart broken again, flew off. He got Jimmy's body back, then went and dropped off the girl that he used.

When he got back, Sam was pacing in his room and stopped when he saw Cas.

Cas looked down at his feet. "Sam, I'm sorry... I know you don't feel the same."

"Cas, I... I do think I love you. I just... Never felt good enough for you. I mean, you're an angel for fuck sake! I'm-I'm just the boy with demon blood..."

"Sam, I don't care about that. That is in your past. I still love you, no matter what."

Cas hugged Sam tightly and put his head on his chest. He felt Sam's arms go around him and hug back.

"Cas... I, I love you."

"I love you too, Sam. I always will."
