Cas let out a quiet groan as he opened his eyes. He looked around the little dungeon he was in and sighed. Fuck, I'm still here..
Cas had been caught by some... very dangerous people. He had information that they wanted and they were gonna get it from him.
Unless he could escape.
But he knew that might not work.
So for the meantime, he sat, developing a plan.
He heard footsteps approaching the dungeon door and he stood up, ready to try to fight.
The door clicked and slowly opened, revealing a tall man with very long brown hair and hazel eyes.
Cas narrowed his eyes at the man as he stepped in and closed the door behind him. He noticed the man was carrying something, but couldn't tell what. "What do you want?" He asked, trying to sound intimidating.
"I was told to bring you food." The man answered softly.
Cas then realized how hungry he actually was. He looked down at the food and licked his lips. He remembered the restraints around his wrists and growled down at them. "How am I supposed to eat?!"
"I'll have to... feed you."
"Or uncuff me!"
"NO!"
Cas jumped a bit at his tone. He narrowed his eyes at him, noticing the slightly scared expression on his face. He nodded and sat down.
The man crossed over to him and sat in front of him. He picked up the little pastry and held it up to Cas.
Cas took a big bite out of it and leaned his head back against the wall behind him. He ate it, happy to get something in his stomach.
"I'm Sam."
Cas looked back at the man, who was smiling lightly at him. He narrowed his eyes AGAIN.
"I'm nothing like... them. I promise. I know you don't trust me, but it's the truth."
Cas swallowed his food. "Then why are you here?"
"Because, I'm supposed to take over as head one day, so I have to learn the rules and stuff... Right now it's my brother, then if he gets... killed or too old, I'll take over."
"Oh..."
"Yeah... I really don't want to, but it's the family business..."
"That's one fucked up family business..." Cas muttered.
Sam gave him a humorless chuckle. "Tell me about it." He held up the pastry again for Cas.
Cas took the rest of it in his mouth and started chewing. He felt kind of bad for the man in front of him.
He finished his food and looked at Sam. "I'm Cas." He said in a soft voice.
Sam smiled softly. "Hi, Cas." He picked up the little cup and held it for Cas.
Cas let Sam tip the water into his mouth. He drank pretty much all of it.
When Sam lowered the cup, Cas asked Sam about himself and Cas told him about himself in return.
They ended up talking for a while. Cas found out what Sam really wanted to do with his life.
Sam asked what Cas wanted to do and he teared up a bit when Cas answered, "I just want a family."
The two sat in silence for a while, then Sam spoke up. "I'm sorry..."
"For what?"
"That you're here. You can't get the family that you want..."
"I-It's ok, Sam. I'll more than likely die here, so I've pushed all thoughts of what I want out my mind."
"I'm still sorry..."
"SAAAM!"
Sam jumped up. "I have to go!" He gathered everything, then hurried out the room, throwing the door closed behind him and locking it again.
Cas sighed and curled up on the floor.
Over the next few days, Sam would come and bring Cas his food and drink, and they would talk for a while until Sam had to leave. The two had developed a strong bond, that constantly kept growing.
Also during those days, Cas would be... interrogated by some of the people that were there.
So, here we are now, Cas is laying on the floor after just being thrown back in his little dungeon after a very harsh interrogation.
Cas heard the door opened and looked up, squinting a bit.
"Cas... Cas, I need you to show me your wrists."
Cas recognized the voice as Sam and, trusting the boy, he held out his wrists. He felt Sam grab them, and a few seconds later, he felt them fall off. "S-Sam, what ar-are you-"
"We're getting out of here, Cas."
Cas felt arms hook under his legs and around his back. He put an arm around Sam's neck and opened his eyes a bit. "Sam, you don't-"
"Be quiet, Cas."
Cas got quiet. He felt an arm leave from around his back. He heard a door shut, then click.
"Hold on, Cas."
He held on tightly, then felt Sam start running.
After what felt like hours of Sam running, he finally stopped and was panting lightly. "We're almost out, Cas," he whispered.
Sam took quick and quiet steps. He opened up a door and sighed in quiet relief when they were almost outside, but stiffened when he heard that voice behind him.
"Sammy."
Sam gulped and turned his head. He saw his older brother, Dean (AKA, the boss), and gulped again.
"Sammy. Where are you going?"
"The store..."
"Don't lie to me, Sam. And turn around."
Sam turned to his brother, a look of fear on his face.
Dean tsked when he saw Cas in Sam's arms. "Really, Sam? Really? This, again? Don't you remember what happened last time?"
"Dean, I... I- We don't want this. Please, just let us go."
"We? What, you claimed him or something?" Dean smirked and walked up to them both. "What if I want the blue eyed angel?" He caressed Cas' cheek, causing Cas to pull away.
Sam glared at his older brother and stepped back. He did feel a strange attraction to Cas. "Dean, stop."
"I'm just having fun, Sammy," Dean said with a cocky tone, but he dropped his hand and crossed his arms over his chest. "Give me one good reason as to why I should let you go."
"Dean, I'm your little brother. Don't you want me to go and be happy? I can live my life. The life that I actually want. Please, Dean, please..."
Dean looked his little brother in his eyes. He saw how... passionate he was about wanting to leave. "Sam, I can let you go, but I can't let him go. He has useful infor-"
"Dean, I love him! Please let us go!"
Dean's eyes widened slightly. "You... love him?"
"Yes... Yes, Dean. We've been talking for a while and... I started to fall for him."
Dean looked down at Cas. "And you, how do you feel? Do you love my little brother?"
Cas nodded. "Y-Yes..."
Dean let out a sigh that was almost like a groan. "Sammy, you're lucky you're my brother. Fine.. Go."
"Really? Thank you, Dean!"
"Just... Be careful, Sammy." He pulled out a set of keys from his pocket and handed them to Sam. "Bye, Sammy."
Sam took them, then held his brothers hand for a moment. "Bye, Dean."
Sam let go of Dean's hand and walked out. He went to the garage and gently out Cas in the passenger seat of the car, before getting in the driver's seat and quickly driving off. He knew Dean had a tendency to change his mind and wanted to hurry and leave.
Once they got far enough away, Sam visibly relaxed and glanced at Cas. "We're free, Cas... We're free."
Cas gave Sam a weak smile. "We're free... But we have no money..."
Sam reached one hand into his pants pocket and pulled out a wad of money with a smirk.
Cas' jaw dropped when he saw it. "Wow..."
"We'll get a motel room for the night, then we'll go somewhere," Sam said as Cas nodded in agreement.
After hours of driving, Sam finally pulled into a motel parking lot and stopped the car. "I'll be right back." He took the money and jumped out, the disappeared inside.
Cas sat there, a partially bloody mess. He was still losing blood from one of his deeper cuts, but didn't want Sam to know.
When Sam came back out with a room key, he went to Cas' side and pulled him out. "I told them you got into a knife fight and asked for a first aid kit... I know how to treat wounds, so I'll help you."
"Thank you, Sam..."
When they got to their room, Sam put Cas on the bed, then got the first aid kit. Starting with Cas, back, he started stitching up wounds.
Cas would wince every time a needle went into his flesh.
When Sam finished his back and started working on his front, he gasped when he saw the cut. "Cas! Why didn't you tell me?"
"I didn't want you to worry..."
Sam just sighed and shook his head, then got to work.
After a few minutes, Sam suddenly spoke. "You know, I meant what I said to Dean..."
"About what?"
"About me loving you."
"You... Meant it?"
Sam finished and looked at Cas. He nodded. "Yeah... I meant it."
"I... Wow, Sam."
"You probably don't feel the same, but I had to-"
"I love you too, Sam."
"Really?"
"Yes... You were the only one who showed me any type of kindness there... Well, in my whole life to be honest."
Sam smiled lightly at him. He gently cupped his cheek. "Can I?"
"Yeah.."
Sam leaned down and pressed his lips against Cas', immediately shutting his eyes.
The corners of Cas' lips curled up and he kissed back, shutting his eyes.
They kissed for a few minutes before pulling away. Sam rested his forehead on Cas' and smiled lightly.
"I love you, Cas."
"I love you too, Sam."

I need a break, tbh. I have sooooo much on my plate right now.
I'll finish the few one shot requests that I have and post them, then I'm taking a break from writing.
I don't know for how long though.
So, sorry in advance to everyone!
