Genderbent || Part 3

Over the months of Sam's pregnancy, he was stressing.

Which caused Cas to start stressing.

Which then caused Dean to start stressing.

The Bunker was just a big palace of stress.

It was around three in the morning and Cas was woken up from his peaceful slumber by the sound of crying.

Cas sat up and rubbed his eyes. "Sam?"

"G-Go back to sleep, Cas..."

Cas shook his head and turned to Sam. "What's wrong, Sam?" He wrapped his arms around Sam and gently placed his hands on his stomach.

Sam leaned into his touch, sniffling. "I-I'm hungry. But we don't have anything I want."

"What would you like, Sam?" Cas softly asked and placed a little kiss on Sam's cheek.

"Macaroni and cheese."

"Ok, Sam. I'll get you macaroni and cheese." He unwrapped his arms from around Sam and got out the bed. He kissed Sam's head softly before popping out.

Sam smiled and waited for Cas to return.

A little while later, he did return. With a bowl of macaroni for Sammy.

Sam smiled happily and held out his hands. He received his bowl and immediately dug in. During a mouth full, he muttered, "Thank you Cas."

Cas chuckled and smiled. "You're welcome Sammy."

After Sam finished his macaroni, they both curled up and fell asleep.

Cas woke up before Sam, but stayed curled up to him. He gently placed his hand on Sam's round stomach and started rubbing small circles on it.

He wondered what the gender of his child was. Him and Sam both wanted to be surprised, but as Sam's due date neared, he would get more curious every day.

He was pulled from his thoughts when a hand landed on top of his. He stopped rubbing and looked up at Sam's face.

Sam was smiling lightly at him. "Whatcha thinkin', Cas?" He asked softly.

"Just about the babys gender. That's all." Cas smiled and placed a soft kiss on Sam's lips.

"I know, I've been thinking about it t-" Sam suddenly gasped and quickly moved his hand to a spot on his stomach. "Cas! I-It kicked!"

"It kicked?"

"Yes!" Sam grabbed Cas' hand and moved it to where his own hand was. "Come on baby... Kick for Daddy."

As if the baby understood, it kicked again and Cas gasped when he felt it. "Wow..."

"I know! It's gonna be so strong.." Sam looked down at his stomach with a small smile.

Cas smiled and kissed his head softly. "Just like you."

A couple of weeks later, Sam was nearing birth, and everyone was anxious.

Sam one into the library early one morning, holding his lower back. He lowered himself into a chair beside Dean with a sigh.

"Hey Sammy. Back pains?" Dean asked, removing his earbuds.

Sam nodded. "Yeah. Sadly."

Dean nodded and chuckled lightly. "It'll be over soon and it'll all be worth it."

"Yeah. That's true. Can you do me a favor?"

"Sure. What's up?"

"Look up what does it feel like when you go into labor."

Dean nodded and started typing. "Has your water broken yet, Sammy?" He asked with a chuckle.

"Oh, shut up and just tell me."

"Well, it says that you will feel a burning sensation in your lower abdomen. So basically cramps."

Sam nodded. "What else?"

"Your stomach might feel as if its tightening. Horrible back pain. Pressure on your groin. You might have to poop a lot."

Sam grunted in response. "What about during labor?"

"Pretty much the same stuff, but no pooping. You know you'll have to get a c-section, right?"

Sam gave him a bitch face. "No, Dean. I expect my baby to come out my dick."

"Hey, I was just reminding you!"

"Yeah, yeah."

Later that night, Sam was just laying in bed, reading, when he felt a very, very intense burning starting from his back and going around to his stomach. He rubbed it softly and continued reading.

A few minutes later, he felt the same burning, just a lot worse than earlier.

He winced and rubbed his stomach more, hoping the pain would subside soon. He sent a quick prayer to Cas -where ever he was - asking him to come home.

Cas came in a few seconds with a small smile. "Hello, Sam."

"Cas, I need you to see if something's wrong." Sam muttered as he held his belly.

Cas turned serious and nodded. He crossed the room and put two fingers on Sam's forehead. He eyes suddenly widened.

"What is it, Cas?"

"It's time, Sam."

"Huh?"

"Sam, it's time!"

"Oh... OH!!" Sam got up as fast as he could. "I'm going get Dean! Get the bag!" He waddled out the room.

Cas turned in a full circle, looking for the bag, then remembered it was in the closet. He ran over and opened the closet door and grabbed the bag.

He hurried out the room and met Sam by Dean's room.

"Dean! Open the fucking door you fuck!" Sam yelled as he banged on the door.

A bushy haired Dean opened the door a minute later. "What's going on?"

"The baby is coming! Come on and drive us to the hospital!" Sam started to waddle away quickly, still holding his stomach, and a very worried stricken Cas following behind him.

Dean snapped out of his sleep daze and grabbed the keys to baby, then started to run after Sam and Cas.

Sam turned to make sure his family was following and glared when he saw Dean. "Dude! Put on some fucking pants!"

Dean looked down and realized he was still in his boxers. He turned and ran back to his room.

Sam and Cas continued their trek to the garage of the Bunker. Cas had his hand on the small of Sam's back the whole time. They got there and walked over to the Impala.

Dean ran in a minute later. He saw Sam panting and holding his stomach. He quickly unlocked the doors and everyone piled in. Sam and Cas in the back and Dean driving.

Sam was laying down, his head in Cas' lap, still panting and holding his stomach. He closed his eyes and a few seconds later, felt the Impala moving.

"Fucking punch it, Dean!" Sam muttered, loud enough for him to hear.

"Alright!" Dean did exactly that. Soon enough, they were flying through the streets.

By the time they made it to the hospital, Cas was pretty sure that his hand was broken from Sam squeezing it tightly and he would be in surgery next to him. Good thing he was an angel.

"Dean, inside and tell them. Cas, help me."

The two sprang into action. Dean hurried in the hospital while Cas helped Sam out and picked him up bridal style.

He hurried into the hospital to see Dean arguing with the nurse at the front desk.

"Sir, are you intoxicated?"

"No I'm fucking not! My brother is in labor! FUCKING HELP HIM!"

Sam closed his eyes in pain. "Dr. Jones," he muttered.

The nurse looked at Sam. She felt as if these three men were intoxicated. "I'm sorry, but I-"

"Sam? It's time isn't it?"

The four looked over at a female doctor walking over to them.

The nurse spoke up. "Dr. Jones, these me say that he's pregnant, but-"

"He is pregnant. Come on, bring him this way." Dr. Jones grabbed a clipboard and started walking off. Cas quickly followed after her. Dean followed after he shot the nurse the finger.

Dr. Jones walked into an unoccupied room. "Put him on the bed."

Cas did as he was told and put him down.

"I'm sorry that I have to say this, but you two have to go to the waiting room during his c-section."

Dean and Cas nodded. Dean kissed his little brothers forehead, and whispered, "Be strong, Sammy. I love you."

Cas quickly pecked Sam's lips. "I love you, Sam. You got this."

Sam smiled lightly at them both. "Thanks guys."

Cas and Dean left the room and went to the waiting room.

Hours later, Dean watched as Cas paced around. "Cas, I'm sure everything's fine."

"But, does it normally take this long? It can't possibly-"

"Winchester family?"

Cas turned around and Dean stood up. Dr. Jones walked over to the two, a big smile on her face.

"Everything went fine. Sam wants to see you both before he rests. There is a surprise that no one was expecting though."

Dean furrowed his eyebrows. "Is it... bad?"

"No, it's good. Very good."

Cas and Dean sighed in relief.

"He's in room 221. Go ahead and see him."

The two hurried off and went to Sam's room. Taking a deep breath, they walked in and their jaws dropped.

There lay Sam on the bed holding, not one, but two, Winchester babies! He had tears running down his face as he looked at his brother and boyfriend. "A boy and a girl."

Cas and Dean walked over to the bed and looked at the babies. Cas had a big smile on his face and happy tears were falling.

Dean was trying his damndest to not cry. He looked at his niece and nephew happily. "Wow..."

"Here, guys." Sam barely lifted his arms, a gesture that meant take them.

Cas held his little girl while Dean held his nephew.

"I'm getting them leather jackets. Just letting you two know." Dean said with a smile.

Cas and Sam laughed quietly. "Of course you are." Sam said before turning to Cas. "We need to come up with names, Cas."

Cas nodded. "Did you have anything in mind?"

"Well... I went through the list of angels that you actually liked that are dead, and came up with their first and middle names."

"Ok. What are they?"

"Rachel Mary Winchester and Jonathan Gabriel Winchester."

Cas started to smile even harder. "I love them, Sam."

Dean couldn't hold back his tears anymore and finally started to cry. He loved how Sam included their parents names and his heart ached, but in a very good way.

"Hello Rachel. I'm your Daddy." Cas softly whispered to her.

Rachel cooed at Cas. She had thin whisps of hair, the same color as Sam's, but her eyes were blue like Cas'.

"And, I'm your Uncle Dean." Dean softly told Jonathan.

Jonathan cooed happily. He had whisps of Cas' black hair and Sam's hazel eyes.

Dean and Cas traded the babies, so they could give them equal attention.

After a little while, a couple of nurses came in and took Jonathan and Rachel to the nursery ward.

Sam laid down on the bed and smiled. "We're fathers, Cas."

"I know, Sam." Cas smiled and kissed his head.

"Hey, don't forget me! I'm an uncle!"

Cas and Sam laughed at Dean. "You're an uncle, Dean." Cas told him.

Dean sighed happily. "I know."

The three talked until Sam fell asleep. Cas told Dean to home and get some rest himself. Dean promised he would be back after he got his four hours in.

Cas pulled a chair next to the bed and sat down. He smiled happily and gently placed his hand on top of Sam's. "We did good, Sam. Really, really good." He whispered.
