"Sarah? Sarah!" I heard my name being shouted by a voice that seamed fermiliar, but I couldn't put my finger on it.
"Sarah!" The voice shouted once more and my eyes flew open. I looked to my left and saw... Karen?
"Head on the clouds, as usual."
What is she doing here? I looked around and saw that I was home.
What?
I looked to see what Karen was shouting about, and saw that a cup was overflowing with milk.
But this.... this is the night I left. The night I came home from the Labyrinth, and soon went back again.
That can't be right.
I looked up just as Karen stormed out of the room.
But she's supposed to say the words...
I took the freshly made tea into the room and sat it down on the table.
Karen was nowhere to be seen and my father was sat in an armchair in the living room. It was strange seeing someone sit normaly in an arm chair after seeing Jareth lounge across his throne for the last... or... was any of it real?
"Sarah... we need to talk."
Uh oh... this means trouble.
I sat down on the seat opposite my father. It took all my will power not to throw my legs over the arm.
"Where do you go?" He asked, as if it was obvious what he was talking about.
When he saw the puzzled look on my face, he elaborated.
"When you zone out, where do you go? Normaly I just figure it's somthing to do with one of your books. But this time, I don't know, it just seams... different."
I sighed. I guess it wouldn't hurt explaining, it's not like he'd ever believe me.
"This is going to sound crazy... but let me finish." He nodded and I sighed again, placing my head in my hands and figuring out where to start.
"Ok, so... about a year ago... no, sorry... wrong time zone..." He looked at me more confused, and I realised he had no idea what I was talking about.
"Anyway... Earlier on this evening, whilst I was watching over Toby-" He cut me off.
"You sound different. Your talking strange, more... proper."
I paused, face still in my hands, and shook my head lightly.
"I know father and I sware, as soon as I've explained, it will make sence to you."
He nodded, slightly dazed. I realised I had said that I swore which is somthing I would not usually say.
"So, yeah... Whilst I was watching Toby, he was getting on my nerves, so I said some lines from a book I had been reading."
He nodded. My father never listened to me anymore, but now his ears were definitely tuned in.
"I acidentaly wished him away to the Labyrinth, to be kidnapped by The Goblin King. I had 13 hours to run the Labyrinth in order to win Toby back. Through dangers untold, traps and snares set by The Goblin King, I sucseeded.
After an hour of being home, Karen wished us back again. At first we weren't welcome, but soon..."
I hesitated a little too long, and my dad saw on my face what I was reluctant to say.
"You fell in love with him didn't you."
I nodded. "Yes. We were engaged. You and Jareth, The Goblin King, got on well too. You really liked him."
"I liked the man who kidnapped my son and almost killed my daughter...?"
"You understood that he had no choice. That the only reason he took Toby was because I wished him away, and a Fae cannot deny a wish."
He nodded slightly, as if trying to straighten this out in his head.
"Sarah, this just sounds like a trick of your imagination-" I stopped him.
"No dad it was real! I sware!-"
"Let me finish." He cut me off, snapping slightly from the fact I had stopped him mid sentence. "This sounds like a trick of your imagination. But from what you told me, you were happy, right?" He asked and I nodded.
"So why we're you so shaken up when you snapped back to reality?" He asked, genuinely confused.
"Because it was the same... when Karen wished us back, she was shouting at me for spilling milk. Exactly how I did a moment ago. It was like I saw it, before it happened. Everything was exactly the same... or at least... up until the point where Karen stormed through here, when she should have said the words."
He nodded understandingly again.
"Sarah, I think you should go get some sleep tonight and we'll talk about this when I get home from work tomorrow. I'm going to the office now. I'll be back later."
I nodded as he kissed me on the forehead and i started to head up the stairs. I was shatted. I felt as if I had litterely just ran the Labyrinth.

Walking uostairs, I saw a draw hanging open with a bunch of stuff in it. It was everything that reminded me of the Labyrinth. I pulled them out and replaced them with speed I did not know I had. I sat on my bed with the red leather bound book, The Labyrinth, in one hand. And in the other was the figurine of Jareth I had. I had never realised how much he looked like this figurine in till now. Still, at least I'll always have somthing to remind me of him... or rather the dream him.
I placed the book on the shelf next to lancelot, and held the figurine in both hands, running my fingers over it to wipe away all the dust that had fallen onto it. Karen had said that, keeping this 'toy' was imature and unlady like. I wonder how she would have reacted if my dream was real. I was as mature as Jareth and he was over one thousand years old, and he definitely made me feel like a lady. God if only it was real and not some daydream.
"I miss you Goblin King." I said, running my fingers over the back if the figurines head.
"If only you were here." I said to the statue. Then I got an idea.
"I..." I sighed again. It was a dangerous thing to do... but I love him. I laid down on my bed, hugging the figurine to my chest.
"I wish Jareth Everild was here with me right now." I said with closed eyes.
When I opened them, there was a very confused and slightly angry Goblin King staring down at me.
"Sarah..."
I cut him off by kissing him. It was exactly how I had drempt.
I stopped when I realised he wasn't kissing me back.
I sat back to look at him, and he straightened up, stunned.
"What the hell... do you think your doing?" I knew that tone of voice. He was trying so hard to stay calm and not blow up at me.
"Jareth..." I wasn't sure what I was supposed to ask.
"Did you wish me here?" Speach less, I nodded.
"How did you... know my... eah..." it was strange seeing him confused and shocked.
"Your name?" He nodded, placing his hands on the bed frame as if to hold him up. All the anders was gone from his face, leaving pure confusion.
"Ok, this is going to sound really wierd, but... I had this sort of, daydream. In that dream I came back to the labyrinth and me and you..." I hesitated, suddenly feeling very embarrassed. Thankfully he nodded and sat on the bed next to me.
"So did we..." He asked. The same embarrassment as my own.
"Yes."
"And were we..."
"Engaged... yes."
He nodded.
"Your taking this extremely well..."
He sighed, putting his head in his hands as I had seen him do many times before.
"I may have been the reason for that day dream..."
"What?" I asked, massively confused.
"Well, since you left, as you know, it's been six months. I've had allot of time to think, and I missed you. It's possible some of my feelings may have been tellipathicly placed on you."
I nodded understanding that part, but...
"But what about Vailan? Why would you want your triplet brother to kidnap us, torture you and try to rape me?"
He looked at me shocked.
"What..."
"You didn't know?"
He shook his head and stood, walking to the other side of the room.
"I'm sorry Jareth." I stood and followed him. I wrapped my arms around his waist and he flinched, looking down over his shoulder at me. I realised that, though my dream had felt real for me, it hadn't for him. All of this was new to him.
I started to pull away but he grabbed my wrists, pulling me back around him. He turned in my grasp and looked me in the eyes.
"Sarah... I have to ask... do you..." He stopped, sighing and releasing me. He started to turn towards the window, but I grabbed his arm, pulling him back around.
"Yes. I do love you."
He pulled me into a kiss of which I had missed and held me close to him...
That's when I heard the screaming.
I turned to see Karen stood in the door way, screaming at us. Somthing about how I am not allowed a boyfriend, and how dare I kiss anyone under HER roof and some other rubish. Then she said somthing about calling the police. I ran down the stairs to stop her, leaving Jareth in the room behind me. But when I got town the stairs, Karen was screaming that she couldn't find the phone. But our phone was a wired land line...
I saw somthing shift outside the window behind Karen. When I looked up I saw Jareth standing outside, grin on his face as he waved the telephone at me.
I laughed at him slightly, but it was soon evident I had laughed to loud ad Karen came storming over to me.
"Do you think this is funny?!" She yelled. I shook my head and she glared at me. I looked to where I had seen Jareth just in time to see a pair of slug like, black, slimy arms wrap around him and pull him away.
I attempted to run over to the window but was stopped by a sharp pain to the side of my face and I fell to the ground.
I turned over to see Karen stood over me. She moved to the wall and picked up a baseball bat.
"You seem a little bolshy my dear. Allow me to help you with that."
I tried to crawl away but she hit me in the ribcage with the bad and I crumpled to the floor once again.
She hit my leg and I heard the ungodly snap of my leg shattering from the impact.
I screamed and she hit me again in the chest, knocking all of the wind out of me.
"Now now dear. We should allways accept help when it comes our way." She said in a somehow calm voice.
"This is not help, this is abuse you stupid bitch!" I yelled back at her and spat in her face.
She wiped away this spit and grabbed her bar in both hands, before hitting me clean around the face... and it wall went dark.
The last thing I heard being Karen 's unamused voice. "Out already? Your losing your touch my dear Sarah. I shall soon fix that."

Hi Guys, Welcome to the new book and yes, it is going to start like that. I'm sorry for the abuse but it's the story line and gets the story off to a metephorical bang.

Thanks for reading
