3rd person POV, outside village chief house

On one side stood team RWBY and on the other stood y/n.

y/n decided to take the first move and dashed towards team RWBY and did an almost 360 degree slash, making team RWBY dodge.

'How was he so fast?' thought team RWBY as they barely dodged the slash.

Yow then follow up your slash with a stab at Yang which Yang did not completely dodge. A strand of hair could be seen floating down as time seemed to slow down, Yang with a look of total shock that was immediately replaced with anger.

Yang:"You MONSTER!"

Yang then furiously attacked you with punches and shooting from her gauntlets which you blocked effortlessly with your sword because you could see through her moves. However her team came to assist her in defeating you so you summoned an Abyss Watcher. The Abyss Watcher then furiously attacked team RWBY with stabs, slashes and slams which resulted in team RWBY losing. 

y/n POV

'huh? I summoned one of the weaker watchers and they still lost? I hoped they would be more of a challenge. It seems that their aura is depleted.'

A group of people with animal traits or faunas then charged at me while swinging their weapons around. I easily defeated the first wave of faunas and I saw the symbol of the White Fang on their clothing. Why are they even here?

'Thank Artorias that I read that history book before doing anything else. I would be dying if I didn't read that book and the little part about mechanisms called 'guns'. Apparently they shoot projectiles at high speed and many weapons created has this as a secondary function.

I continued fighting through the White Fang, absolutely destroying their pride and... body parts.I then saw a man with ginger hair wearing a suit and holding a cane which is most likely able to transform into a gun. 

Roman:"It seems like you have bested my men, I want to recruit you."

"Who art thou?"

Roman:"I am Roman Torchwick, criminal mastermind and much more."

"If thou art evil, I shan't join you."

*Roman lifts his cane and points the end towards you*

Roman:"Then you die!" He said while shooting fire dust.

*Block bullet but explode*

You then fall onto the ground due to the impact of the explosion.

3rd Person POV

Roman turns around and walks away, thinking that you are dead. However he didn't see the black fog gathering around you with little sparks of fire. You then turned into a Lord of Cinder and rose up from the ground with your greatsword on fire. Your clothes become charred and have little sparks of fire on them. You then dashed towards Roman, the ground lighting on fire 2 seconds later and did a combo on him while your eyes glow red. Roman looked at you in shock. 

Roman:"Who... no what are you?"

y/n:"I am Farron's Undead Legion." You said while stabbing your sword into his chest. Blood came out of the wound and vaporized when it got close to the sword.

Roman then coughed up blood while a small girl with pink and brown hair looked at you with a shocked face. She then rushed towards you. You swing your sword at her but she shattered with Roman.

A few hours ago in Salem's castle

Salem: I have detected a power surge in a village near Vale, I want you to see what caused the surge and either recruit or destroy them.

Cinder: Yes mistress.

White Fang Base

Cinder: Roman, I want you to go to this village and look for something or someone that might be the cause of the power surge then recruit or eliminate them.

Roman: Sure

Roman POV

Ugh! More pointless stuff to do. Better eliminate the source though or else they will make my paycheck smaller.

Back to present

Ruby POV

I'm the only member of RWBY that is still concious. I looked at y/n destroying the White Fang like nothing. Then Roman shot his cane and he exploded, my eyes widened. I tried to attack Roman but my body did not move. He fell to the ground and Roman walked away, we can't fail this mission, we were supposed to recruit him, not watch him get destroyed! A black fog then surrounded him as he rose up again but his clothing is covered in ashes and small sparks of fire. His sword lit on fire as he dashed towards Roman, a trail of fire rose up after to seconds. That got the attention of Roman. He then stabbed his sword right through Roman, he then said something about undead, was he a zombie? Do zombies exist? My mind is filled with questions. I then lost consciousness.

y/n POV

I looked towards the four colour coded girls and lifted them into the house and put them on various chairs. I then told the village chief about the situation as he sent people to clean up the mess. After that I sat on the ground meditating and waited for them to regain consciousness.

Timeskip

y/n POV

After a few hours, they started to stir and wake up.

"Greetings."

RWBY got scared and jolted awake.

WBY:"What happened?"

Ruby:"He kicked our butts and killed Roman! He also killed a lot of White Fang!"

3rd person POV

Ruby then proceeded to tell them what happened after they blacked out. She then took out what I now know as 'scroll' and called a bullhead. After that she started describing the fight with the White Fang in her speak super fast mode. WBY was furious that y/n killed people but it was in self defense so it made them feel better.

RWBY:"So will you come with us to Beacon?"

(Go to Beacon, what's the worse that can happen? Or maybe we could do some more research.)

'The book I read said that beacon train warriors to kill the Grimm so let's go'
