Kuro: This World is known as Ares. It is divided into 4 sections. The Cardinal Kingdoms. The North Kingdom. The East Kingdom. The South Kingdom. And The West Kingdom. All of these areas are ruled by a specific King or Queen. Even though here in the North, the Queen is kind and benevolent, the rest of the rulers rule with and iron fist. People here are mostly born lucky. Or at least most.

Ryu and Neo took in everything she said. Neo looked at Ryu and she asked him a question.

Ryu: ... So, how many people know how to use magic?

Kuro: Oh, everyone is born with some ability for magic. The Gator man Riley used Fire Magic.

Ryu: Pyromaniac got it.

Neo looked at with a somewhat confused look.

Ryu: I know, it's weird. 'Why can't we use aura or our semblances?'

Kuro: But I'm confused, how do you two know nothing about the Kingdoms? All of the planet is comprised of the Kingdoms.

Ryu: Uhhh, we can explain that another time. Right now, we should probably get somewhere with civilization. Have any idea where that is?

Kuro: Well the nearest town is a 20 minute walk from here.

Ryu: Yeah that sounds like a drag to walk all the way there. So how about we fly.

Ryu's eyes glowed as they started to float up.

Kuro: You can fly?

Ryu: Yup. Now come on.

Neo shrugged before grabbing Kuro. She held out her and to Ryu and he grabbed it as they flew in the sky.

Kuro: AH!

Kuro covered her eyes in fear as Ryu deadpanned but on the inside suppressed the urge to "HNNNN" from cuteness.

Ryu: 'Oh she is too damn precious.'

Shojo: Can we take her home? Please?

Ryu: 'I don't see why not.' Come on Kuro, you can open your eyes.

She slowly peeked one eye open and saw the land bellow them. Soon she fully opened her eyes with stars in them.

Kuro: WOW!!

Neo as well was mesmerized by the view.

Ryu: Neither of you have ever seen a view like this one huh? It's pretty nice don't you think?

They kept flying until they reached a massive castle with homes all around.

Ryu: I'm guessing this is the place.

Kuro: Yeah!

Ryu: The castles where they Queen's at right?

Kuro: Uh huh!

Ryu: Good. LET'S GO-

Neo pulled up from his arm shaking him by the collar.

Ryu: I wasn't going to crash into the place like a jackass!

Neo gave him a furious glare before smacking him upside the head.

Ryu: Ok, I was close to, but I remembered the kid was here.

Neo sighed and relented before they all landed outside of anyones line of sight behind the castle. Then she looked at him crossing her arms.

Ryu: Well we probably do stick out like sore thumbs, so I guess getting some clothes to fit where we are would be good.

Kuro: Um, how can you understand her when she doesn't speak?

They both shrugged. Soon enough they looked around and saw a clothes shop. They walked over and conveniently Ryu had a good amount of currency in his pocket. They brought clothes to blend in more.

Ryu: 'Now I know how Karma feels. This old fashioned stuff is sweet.'

Neo looked at him with a slightly annoyed expression.

Ryu: I know it's bland but it'll have to do for now Neo.

She deadpanned before images flashed into the both of their minds once again. This time of a kid Ryu and Neo in a similar moment to what they were in now. When it was finished Ryu about had it with what went on.

Ryu: That's it! Kuro stay right here. I'm getting it the bottom of this now.

Ryu grabbed Neo by the wrist pulling her along until they reached a more private area.

Ryu: Neo, who the hell exactly are you?!

Neo looked at him with the same annoyed expression he had.

Ryu: Don't reflect that question back at me! I literally dragged you out here so we did not cause a fucking scene! Just what exactly do you have to do with my past?!!

They both calmed down before Neo looked at him with a more somber expression.

Ryu: You don't even know yourself?

She tried mouthing words before clutching her through in pain.

Ryu: Hey, don't force yourself to try and talk. Hold on.

Ryu placed his hand on her head and closed his eyes. He moved it around before reopening his eyes.

Ryu: Well you're brain doesn't seem to have abnormal damage, so that probably isn't causing it.

Neo looked at him once again confused.

Ryu: Just go along with it.

He lowered his hand to neck and moved his fingers around it until reached where her larynx was. That's when Neo pushed his hand away rearing back slightly pained.

Ryu: It's alright, just bear with me.

She was a bit hesitant before moving back forward. Ryu slid his hand through the rest of her neck seeing if anything else was damaged.

Ryu: It's you're larynx and lungs.

Neo looked at him a bit confused again.

Ryu: You're larynx is you're voice box, but it feels like it was ruptured a few times. Not only that but you're lungs are ruptured just as bad. It's a wonder you can even breathe.

Shojo: Thank Aura for that.

Neo looked around.

Shojo: Oh crap I said that out loud. Hello.

She looked hearing the voice close to Ryu.

Shojo: Long story short I'm a spirit that's lived in Ryu for a few life times.

Neo was wide eyed hearing that.

Ryu: Ignoring her for a second, you didn't even know yourself that you had those scars did you?

She shook her head.

Ryu: 'Then what kind of lung capacity could she have had?' Well, guess there's only one thing to fix it.

She looked at him a bit confused.

Ryu: Neo, just close your eyes.

She was a bit skeptical but trusted him closing her eyes.

Ryu: 'Aura, if there was any time I needed you again, this would be it.'

Ryu remembered the feeling of how he had once turned on his aura. Soon the red and blue light covered his body as he as well activated his Valet Powers. A light surrounded his hands as he placed them near Neo's neck. Soon a light shone down on the both of them as they looked up.

Ryu: What the hell?

Soon not just images flew into their minds, but memories.

FLASHBACK!!

A 11 year old Ryu was walking through ruins of a destroyed city with his father.

SOL KAIZEN!!

Ryu: Dad, why are we here again?

Sol: Son, I just wanted to show you what Grimm have done to this city. I think you should know exactly what happens when they attack.

Ryu looked around saddened.

Ryu: How could anything like this happen?

Sol: We can't be sure Ryu. Grimm a wild creatures. No soul at all.

As he finished saying that they heard the sound of Grimm. Both of them head deadpanned faces hearing that.

Ryu: Oh you've gotta be freaking kidding me.

They went to the noise and saw a pack of Beowolves surrounding a younger Neo.

Ryu: YO, ya overgrown flee bags!

They all turned and soon enough Ryu started hacking them apart with Volcanic Destroyer. The girl saw him immediately closing her eyes. When she opened them she saw Ryu crouching down in front of her.

Ryu: You good?

She was a bit scared before he backed up. Soon enough he was bonked on the top of the head by Sol.

Ryu: OW!!

Sol: At least wait until you're 16 to kiss her first.

Ryu: GRRR!! SHUT UP YOU OLD PERV!!!

He turned back to Neo with her being more confused now.

Ryu: Don't mind my dad, he's really weird. Anyways, you alright.

She nodded her head before tilting it a bit.

Sol: Well besides the fact that I think your homeless.

There was a moment of silence before Ryu and Neo had a confused look.

Ryu: What are you talking about dad?

Sol: Ehh you'll learn how to read someone when you're older. Come on now, let's get you somewhere safe.

He held his hand out to Neo with an inviting aura. She looked up before grabbing his hand.

FLASHBACK OVER!!

The light stopped as they looked at each other.

Ryu: You were the kid?

Neo: Y... You're Ryu Kaizen...

She stopped and realized she actually spoke.

Ryu: Ok I'm not gonna lie, didn't think I'd be able to do that.

They looked at each other before Neo hugged him crying. Ryu hugged her back smiling.

Ryu: 'You know I thought the only good thing to happen to me in my life was meeting all of my friends. But I guess even I can forget someone.'

Tears began to fall from his face.

Ryu: Hey Neopolitan...
