Tonight Kaveh was walking home late after closing up the tavern and as he walking he heard some fighting going.

Then suddenly someone ran pass him and Kaveh hid behind a tree as he saw two fatui agents chasing after the mask man.

But the man seemed familiar in a way. And suddenly ran after them as he realized the man was Diluc.

As he followed he hid behind another tree as he saw Diluc reach a dead end and then to his horror saw Diluc get shot in the chest.

Diluc then fell against the tree holding his chest and looking beat up. And as the fatui agents got close to him.

He suddenly saw Kaveh swing his briefcase and hitting both in the head knocking them out cold.

Diluc : K....Kaveh....."

Kaveh then dropped his briefcase and Ran over to Diluc seeing how bad he was hurt and looking like he was about to pass out.

Kaveh : hey hey don't fall asleep! I.....what are you doing what-

Diluc : i....I'll explain later.....please get me home....."

Kaveh : you need a d-

Dilukc grabbed his wrist and said.

Diluc : k.....kaveh....please....trust me....."

Kaveh : .....ok.....ok..."

Kaveh then quickly helped Diluc up and walked away with him back to Diluc's place.

Later Diluc was sitting up against his bed shirtless as Kaveh was cleaning and bandaging up his gunshot wound and other wounds. He also started to stitch up the cut he had on his forehead and then the gunshot wound which hurted a lot.

And as Diluc wince in pain Kaveh said not looking at him and focusing on what he was doing.

Kaveh : it will only take a few more minutes....."

Diluc : .....I'm sorry I scared y-

Kaveh : ......what's going on Diluc....."

Diluc : .....have you heard the darknight hero?"

Kaveh : who hasn't?.....I'm guessing you are him"

Diluc : yes...."

Kaveh : why were fatui agents after you?"

Diluc : that's for a different reason.....I can't tell you for your safety.....please just trust me....and Don't tell anyone"

Kaveh : ......ok.....I'll trust you......but if you think I'm not going to scold you then you are wrong"

Diluc : heh....let me hear it"

After Kaveh was stitching him up he hit him on his arm and said.

Kaveh : you are a complete idiot! Do you have a death wish!? How can you be so irresponsible!? You could have died if I wasn't there! And y........i....i......"

Diluc : I'm sorry you had to see that....."

Kaveh : you're my friend and you have done so much for me. Of course I don't want to see you hurt......and it's not the first time I've knock a fatui agent out."

Diluc : what was the first time?"

Kaveh : they tried robbing me"

Diluc : how strong is your briefcase?"

Kaveh : very and his name is Mehrak. But with enough force anything can knock a person out"

Diluc : .....heh.....you are right about that"

Kaveh : are you in any pain?"

Diluc : no....I'm fine....."

Kaveh : well I'm still staying here until morning someone needs to watch you"

Diluc : you don't need t-

Kaveh : you need to rest and I can tell unless I'm watching you. You won't"

Diluc : .....fine.....thank you also for saving me"

Kaveh : no problem at all"

Diluc and Kaveh were quiet for a few seconds until Kaveh notice his hand was touching Diluc's chest and quickly took his hand away and stood up.

Kaveh : im....i....I have to ...umm go do something!"

He then quickly left and Diluc thought about something but quickly brush off the thought.

Few days later Diluc was lost in thought at the tavern until kaeya showed up and asked.

Kaeya : something on your mind dear brother?"

Diluc : i......it's nothing go a-

Kaeya : I know that look. You like someone"

Diluc : no I do not!"

Kaeya : is it Kaveh?"

Diluc: n...no! Shut up!"

Kaeya : oh my you do. Ask him out"

Diluc : ......I can't....."

Kaeya : why not?"

Diluc : with my line of business it would dangerous and.....he's been through enough. He was
Just engaged he's wouldn't be ready to with how it ended....."

Kaeya : .....unlike this guy you are different"

Diluc : I'm not asking him out!"

Kaeya : I'll be your wingman and do it for you!"

Diluc : don't you dare!"

Kaeya : fine be all shy. But there's Plenty of other men and women who want him. He may not be free forever"
