I enter the room. Randhir is lying on his bed and has changed into a grey track pant and a white tshirt. Hair all messed up, but it's always like that. This guy can even make sweatpants look sexy. He is wearing earphones and I guess watching some movie.

He looks at me when I enter, gives me a small smile and then again his eyes are fixed on the screen.

God knows what he is watching.

Porn? I suddenly feel uncomfortable as heat rises in my cheeks.

Kuch bhi kya Sanyukta?

But then he starts laughing looking at the screen. Okay so maybe not porn.

Whatever!

I go to the washroom and change into my pajamas and t-shirt. He laughs more loudly outside and I wash my face and then brush my teeth. I can't hear anything from outside now. Video over I guess. Maybe he went to sleep.

I go outside and as I assumed, Randhir is fast asleep. The phone on his chest, one earphone has come out of his ear. Mouth slightly open.

I smile looking at him.

I go and take out his other earphone and pick up the phone. When I look at his screen Tom is chasing Jerry. I chuckle.

Such a kid he is. Mr. Flirty watches tom and jerry huh? I close it and keep the phone on the table.

I cover him with the blanket on his bed and switch off the light. Soon I am fast asleep.

Opening my eyes, I look towards the clock. 9.30 am! Oh shit! How did I sleep for so long. Randhir is not in the room. I quickly get ready.

I leave the room and there is chaos everywhere. There are colourful balloons and ribbons on the walls. All the seniors are busy decorating the corridors. There is a board of "Welcome Freshers" outside my room.

Oh so humare swagat ki tayyari chalu hai.

With the partying atmosphere surrounding me, I'm now feeling really excited and energetic.

I have never been to a party before. Only birthday parties where all the parents and elders used to be present.

Usse party thodi kehte hai. Asli party toh ye hai. I also see 2 boys carrying boxes of beer and I gape at them. Whoa. How did the college allow this? But then I remember Vidushi telling me that the whole planning will be done only by the seniors without the faculty involved. So I guess it's allowed.

In the corridor I see Tanya and Vidushi. "Mai tumhare hi room me aa rahi thi" I say.

"Aur hum tumhe dhundne aa rahe the" says Vidushi.

"I'm in desperate need of some breakfast. Canteen chale?" I ask and they both nod.

We three sit in the canteen and have sandwiches. Later we roam in the college building looking at all the decorations. We also help some of the seniors. Thank God that we've got really kind and friendly seniors. No ragging or bullying of any type.

Ye college hai hi aisa. Bahot achha reputation hai aur crowd bhi achha hai. It's like a big family.

The day goes on quickly and it's already lunch time, after which we go back to my room.

I open the door and Randhir and Parth are putting up a punching bag in the room. I wonder where did they bring it from.

"Ye kya" I ask.

"Jhuulaa" Randhir answers sarcastically with a deadpanned tone. I roll my eyes.

"Party ki tayyari ho gayi?" Parth asks.

"Haa!!" Vidushi, Tanya and I squeal in unison and sit on my bed.

"Tumhari?" Vidushi asks.

Parth nods and says, "Ha almost."

"Aur tumhari Randhir?" asks Tanya.

"Ha bilkul. Tabhi toh aaj nahaya mai" grins Randhir.

I make a disgusted face while Tanya laughs.

"Shee bhai" Vidushi smacks his arm and.. here we go with their stupid fight, again.

After sometime they leave.

"Tom and Jerry bahot achha cartoon hai na" I say when everyone is gone.

Randhir looks up at and suppresses his smile.

"Oh toh tumne mera phone side me rakh ke mujhe blanket se cover kiya tha. Kitni care karti ho tum. Did you even kiss me goodnight in my sleep like they do in those stupid movies?" he asks with a smirk.

Kiss him goodnight. Now that's a great th-

What! No! He is trying to distract you Sanyukta!

"Topic mat change karo. Do you even watch Dora the explorer and Chhota Bheem?" I ask folding my hands and grinning.

For the first time I have the upper hand in teasing him. He frowns and avoids me, shuffling through his bag.

"Randhir watches Tom and Jerry.. Randhir watches Dora.. Randhir watches Mickey mouse.. Randhir watches.." I go on in a sing song voice.

"Do you also like Disney movies. Of Barbies and princesses?" I laugh.

The door is open and two girls passing from there give Randhir a weird look and I laugh out loud. I hear one of them whisper 'gay' and that's when I literally fall off my bed and start laughing more loudly lying on the floor.

"Sanyukta!" Randhir grabs my shoulders and makes me sit and I wipe away my tears as he glares at me.

"Shh.. kitna chilla rahi ho. Chup raho!" he says and closes the door.

"Ye baat wapas tumhare muh se nikli toh mai.. toh mai.." he starts.

"Toh tum mummy ko complain karoge?" I say and break into my laughing fit again.

"I'm serious okay!" he says desperately trying to suppress a smile which is growing on his face.

I nod and make a straight face. "Of course you are! Cartoon dekhne wale log hamesha serious hote hai" I laugh and leave the room with my party clothes in my hand.

That was fun!

Next chapter is the party... Excited or no?? And do you like the way things are between Randhir and Sanyukta.. I'm trying to make their characters similar to Param and Harshita... Hope you liked the chapter :)
