11- Shinee's album in a bookstore and is that jelousy?
Alex's pov
When it comes to times jumps in books, especially novels, they give you this generic view of how everything is completely perfect. I always thought that it was a way too cliché and cheesy thing to do in real life but...well, to be honest, it is still all of that, however, it's the truth.
Nothing has gone wrong in the first four months since I started dating Wonwoo, or at least, nothing major. No delirious exes or crazy fights, although I'm pretty sure these aren't exactly something to be worried about, taking in consideration my dating history and personality. And Mingyu didn't kick us out of the apartment yet so I'm considering that as a huge win.
Mingyu picked me up after work again, meaning yet another car ride where I'll fear for my life. But before I could enter the car of doom, I suddenly remembered.
"Hey, I need to go back. Joshua has my phone."
"Why would he have your phone? You don't even trust me enough to have it."
"I'll tell you later." I replied, entering the bookstore with Mingyu right behind me.
"Why would you leave your phone with...wait, is that Hoshi?"
I looked at what Mingyu was pointing, and no mistake indeed, it was Hoshi. He looked pretty lost and kept glancing around the place, and yet, strangely enough, he didn't seem to notice our presence.
"What do you think he's doing here?"
Before Mingyu could answer, Woozi came out of the storage room, making his way to where Hoshi was.
"Well, that's an interaction that I never thought I would witness!" I remarked as we both observed the two guys talking. They seemed oddly happy to see each other.
"Do think they're friends? They looked like they know each other."
"I think they're more than friends, look!" Mingyu gasped, pointing in their direction.
If seeing Woozi and Hoshi talking was already surprising, then seeing them kissing was enough to make me pass out.
"You're seeing what I'm seeing right? I'm not just imagining this." I whispered to Mingyu.
"They're kissing! Actually kissing on the lips!"
"This is not an illusion, is it?"
"Can two people hallucinate together?"
"Actually, yes. There's even a term for it, its called Folie à Deux."
"Good to know."
When they broke apart, Woozi noticed me and Mingyu standing behind them with our mouths open in shock. He stared at us looking like a deer caught in the headlights, which seemed to capture Hoshi's attention. Once he saw us two, panic washed over his face.
"H-Hey neighbors. Didn't see you there." Hoshi stuttered. "How are you two? I just came here to buy...hmm...Shinee's new album? Yes, that's what I came here to do! To buy Shinee's new album! Nothing suspicious about that!" He nervously laughed. Meanwhile, Woozi was covering his face with his hands, as an attempt to hide his embarrassment.
"...You do know you're in a bookstore, right?"I implied.
"And it didn't seem like you're trying to purchase something." Mingyu noted.
Hoshi looked hesitant.
"You guys don't have to worry about this, there's no need to justify yourselves" I reassured them.
"Yeah, we're just surprised cause...well...Woozi is...while Hoshi is...we didn't know you two knew each other." Mingyu continued.
"Yeah, or the extension of your relationship."
"So don't worry, we're just gonna...what were we going to do?"
"Find Joshua."
"Find Joshua and give you two some privacy!"
We both rushed over, leaving the two boys behind.
Well, that was unexpected.

After the beyond awkward moment, me and Mingyu arrived to the apartment complex, still in shock.
"I gotta say, I did not see that one coming!" I exclaimed
"What an unlikely pair!"
"And yet, I totally ship it"
"Strangely enough so do I!" Mingyu declared while opening the door.
"Hey Wonwoo, you're never gonna believe what just-"
Sitting in our couch was the 2nd biggest shock of the day. A completely unknown girl.
She looked a bit annoyed at our presence but smiled nevertheless.
"Oh, you must be Wonwoo's roommates."
"Yeah...I'm sorry, who are you?" Mingyu inquired while staring down at the stranger in our apartment.
"I'm-"
"Hey, guys!" Wonwoo interrupted "This is Victoria, we're doing a project together."
"Project?" I asked.
"Yeah, so if you two don't mind, we kinda need to focus on that so-"
"Oh no, they won't distract us at all!" Wonwoo interrupted her again.
"We'll just...be in the kitchen if you need us.." Mingyu announced.
"Yeah...if you need us."
Mingyu grabbed my arm, dragging me to our kitchen.
"I don't like her." I blurted once we were out of earshot.
"Funny enough, neither do I."

It was almost dinner time when Victoria finally left. The whole time she was here I couldn't help but silently eavesdrop on the conversation, since I was incapable of focusing on the book in front of me. It's not like I had much of a choice really, her voice can travel through walls.
According to Mingyu, she was one of the top students of Wonwoo's class, and to top all that, she was really pretty. Like girl group pretty. So I admit that I was feeling a bit...let's say insecure.
When she left, Wonwoo came to the kitchen and smiled at me.
"So...how did that project go?" I asked, trying to sound as indifferent as possible.
"It's finished so, I think it went pretty good."
"And huh...what was her name?"
"Victoria." he responded, sitting on the chair next to me.
"Yeah that. She sounds very... academically appealing."
"...If I was thinking of offering her internship, then I guess so."
"Right right...she's pretty too, ain't she?"
"Not my type." He raised an eyebrow and smirked slightly. "Wanna know why?"
"Why?"
"'Cause I already have a girlfriend. That's you by the way, in case you've forgotten."
"I haven't. I was just, you know... Making a few observations"
"Right...I might be wrong, but sounds awfully a lot like jealousy"
"Jealousy it's such a strong word. I wouldn't say I'm jealous." I noted, making him laugh.
He looked at my face for a moment, as if he was wondering whether I was joking or not, then kissed me.
"Of course, you aren't. Still, it's cute of you...for making observations." Wonwoo joked.
"Always my pleasure."
"You know, you really don't have to worry about Victoria. Honestly, I hope I never have to do another project with her. I was so relieved when you guys came home, she was making me feel kinda of uncomfortable."
"She did seem pretty into you. I think our presence screw up her plans."
"I don't really care whether she was into me or not. I'm already in love with an awesome girl."
"God, you're cheesy" I laughed.
"You're the one dating me."
"You two are so cute it makes sick." Mingyu shouted from the living room.
"Deal with it!"
