Y/n's pov

I woke up at 2 in the morning in a cold sweat. I wasn't really scared or anything, it was just about one of my ex's. I sat up and started messing around on my phone, since I know I won't be able to go back to sleep. I then receive a text from sans, the text read "hey y/n, are you awake?". I instantly responded "yeah, what are you doing at 2am?", sans replied "I could ask you the same thing". Sans and I texted each other for a while, when 9 am rolled around, sans asked if he could come over. I said yes, and then there was a knock on the door. I heard b/n get up and answer the door, but I was very surprised when I heard b/n say "oh hi sans". I panicked, I wasn't even properly dressed yet, and sans is here. I don't really know why I'm so worried, but I quickly grab a pair of black sweats and a f/c t shirt and put them on. I then put on some deodorant and some perfume so I smell nice, and walked out. I must've had bags under my eyes because as soon as b/n saw me he said "did you even sleep y/n?", I said "yeah, I just woke up at 2 am. What's the problem?". B/n then said "you went to sleep at midnight y/n", sans' eye sockets got wider somehow and he looked at me with an 'are you serious' face. I sighed in defeat and lied down on the couch, as if on cue, my stomach growled. I groaned in annoyance and rolled off the couch, landing on the floor with a thud. I got up, and made my way to the kitchen and managed to successfully make a bowl of cereal. I almost poured water instead of milk into the bowl, but I caught myself and grabbed the milk. I overheard b/n say to sans "whatever you do, don't let her skate when she's this tired. I guarantee you she will end up hurting herself", I said "I'm not that bad, geez". I finished my cereal and put the bowl in the sink, almost running into a wall on my way out of the kitchen. Yeah, I was downright exhausted, and I knew it. B/n said "y/n go back to bed now before you hurt yourself", I just said "nah I'm good". Before I knew what was happening, b/n picked me up bridal style and stormed into my room. B/n then dropped me on my bed and put some blankets over me, then he picked up my phone and said "I will give this back when you wake up". Then b/n walked out of my room, and closed the door behind him. I sighed in defeat, and rolled over before falling asleep.

B/n's pov

After getting y/n to bed, I saw sans in the living room awkwardly sitting on the couch. I sat next to him and said "sorry, y/n can be a handful sometimes", sans just hummed in understanding. Sans then asked "so, do you know what y/n thinks of me and pap?", I just said "y/n really likes you guys, and so do I. We'll always have your back I can promise you that". Sans then asked "what does she think of me?", I then remembered the promise I made y/n. I said "I can't answer that one, I made a promise", sans sighed in disappointment. Then sans said "can you give me any advice or information about her?", I said "of course, what do you wanna know?". Sans then said "ok, how childish is y/n sometimes?", I answered "well, she has a child's innocents, and will react like a child when she sees something she likes or wants. The most childish I've seen her are at amusement parks, always dragging me to different roller coasters that she wants to go on". Sans then nodded and asked "ok, so if you two were to sleep over at my house, is there anything I should know?", I said "yes, y/n does not like physical contact while she's asleep or trying to sleep. Y/n has slept for long periods of time however". Sans asked "how long?", I said "the longest she's slept was a full week, I think she could've slept for a month if I didn't wake her up". Sans asked "is there anything else I should know?", I then said "oh yeah, there is one more thing. Y/n has ni-" I was cut off by y/n screaming "NO!" From her room. I said "night terrors", and rushed to her room. I opened her door and saw y/n sitting up with her hands on her head, tears running down her face, and panting like a dog. I sat down on her bed and said "y/n? You ok?", she said "b/n...... you're ok right. Sans and everyone else is ok?". I sighed and said "everyone is fine y/n, sans is even here I looked over and saw sans standing in the hall. Y/n then pulled me into a hug and said "thank the lord you're safe...... I thought you died", ah, so it was that nightmare again. I said "sans is outside the door if you wanna give him a hug too" in a playful teasing manner, y/n began to blush. My goal was fulfilled, so I gave y/n her phone back and got out of her room. Sans was in the hallway looking really concerned, I put my hand on his shoulder and said "don't worry, y/n will be fine. Just let her get freshened up, she likes to be presentable for her friends, I'm only an exception cause I live with her". Sans just nodded, still looking concerned. I said "what do you wanna do?", sans shrugged. I need to lighten the mood somehow, I then got a good idea. "Hey sans, wanna watch Americas funniest home videos?", sans looked at me with confusion and asked "what's that?". I said "oh now you have to watch it, it's hilarious trust me", sans sat down on the couch and I turned on the tv. I pulled up the recording of AFV and played it. After a few minuets, sans and I were both laughing. Nailed it. When it came to the 57 trampoline fails in 30 seconds, both of us cried laughing. The best part was the funny music playing in the background. Y/n then came out of her room dressed in her casual clothes, sprits of perfume, and a few braids with her brushed hair. I saw sans' skull turn blue a little, and I could tell y/n was blushing a bit too. Y/n said "hi sans, hi b/n. Sorry if I worried you at all", sans said "it's ok kid, we were just watching the funniest videos to ever exist". Y/n then said "ah you were watching a rerun of AFV, got it", and got a glass of water.

Y/n's pov

I got a glass of water as sans and b/n enjoyed AFV. AFV is one of my favorite tv shows, others being big brother, the amazing race, survivor, and MacGyver (You can change it if you want). B/n then said "by the way y/n, don't forget that you have school tomorrow. Spring break is over", oh yeah it's Sunday. Hopefully I don't get hurt tomorrow, chase might have a run in with my new friends that way, and I don't think he'll enjoy it. Anyway, better just enjoy this day while I still can. B/n then stands up and says "oh my gosh I forgot I have work today", and starts running around the house getting his uniform on and making himself look and smell good for both the restaurant and the public. Before b/n leaves he says "y/n hold down the fort ok", I nod and wave goodbye. Now it's just me and sans.......... dang it b/n! Why do you do this to me. I sighed and calmed down, besides, I can't really stay mad at b/n. I kinda wanted this to happen, I just wasn't mentally ready yet. I just said "so...... what do you wanna do sans?", sans shrugged and reclaimed his spot on the couch. I then said "well, you and b/n really seem to be getting along well", sans said "yeah, he's really cool". There was now an awkward silence, I wanted to break it but I don't know what to say. I don't want him the think I'm weird or something; wait, no, this is sans we're talking about. Sans isn't that judgmental, is he? "Hey y/n", sans' voice interrupts my thoughts. I look up and say "yeah?", sans then asks "if it's ok to ask, what was your nightmare about?". I then remembered everything that happened and wanted to shake it out of my head. I said "I saw someone...... I don't know who they were or what they looked like, they were a silhouette of a human. They then pulled out a weapon and I was forced to watch them kill you guys. You, b/n, papyrus, undyne, mettaton, frisk, toriel, asgore, and alphys. I wanted to help, I wanted to stop them. I wanted to save you..... but I couldn't move, I woke up after they turned toward me with a creepy smile and lunged at me.......... I don't want anything bad to happen to you guys, you've been nothing but kind to me and b/n. You don't deserve anything bad like that. I-.... I'm sorry". Sans then got up and hugged me, I froze for a second before melting into the hug. Sans then said "We're not going anywhere, no body is dying on my watch. I can promise you that", I hug back and say "thank you sans. Thank you so much". Sans let go of the hug and said "come on, lets go watch some tv", I nodded and pulled up the recording of the latest mac gyver episode. In the beginning of the episode, sans asked "what is this show about?". I paused the show and said "it's about a guy named Mac Gyver, his dad left him when he was little, but left small clues as to where he is. As he searches for his dad, he's saving people's lives with random objects since he remembers every experiment that he did as a kid", sans nods and I resume the show. Sans was silent the rest of the show, and I think I got him hooked on it. The rest of the day went really fast, eventually sans had to go home, and b/n came home from work. Since there was school tomorrow, I had to go to bed early, so I did. At least this time at had a peaceful sleep.
