Chapter one: The Games Begin

Aaron~
Place: London
Time: 13:00

It was a grey day in London, how it usually was. People walked by with their own business. Birds chirped calmly. Dogs barked happily. Everything was peaceful. From the window of the cafe that he was sitting at, Aaron pondered what direction his life was taking him as he usually did. He had been a spy for well over ten years, and the constant missions and secrecy were starting to get to him. He pushed those thoughts aside, however, when he saw the target jog past, just as he had been told. He got up with a sigh and moved out into the cloudy day to do his job, noting the pistol being shoved into her jacket and making a mental note to take it later. As well as noting that she turned down the exact alley way that had been set as a trap for her.

Aaron smiled to himself, knowing that the intelligence on her device was false, planted there to lead her astray and right into their cage. It was well known by most spy agencies that the organization this woman had worked for was corrupt. Very corrupt. And that she was one of the most trusted there to do her job, also meaning she probably had some very hard to get information, making it hard for him to resist this opportunity. His smile widened as the black SUV pulled up that was also part of the trap. He watched intently as she got in then broke into a calm jog to catch up as it started to drive away. Proceeding to get in the front passenger seat, he motioned for the driver to take off, which he did. Aaron looked in the rear view mirror with a smile as he noticed the woman's eyebrows come together and seeing her sit up straighter.

"Hold on. Who are you, what's going on?" She asked. Aaron could tell she was trying to keep the panic out of her voice.

Without looking back, he replied, "This is a trap Danya. And you fell right in." He then motion for the man next to her to inject her with the sedative he was holding.

The spy known as Danya grunted slightly at the needle and deep yelp of pain came as she punched the man in the nose. "I've been trained to fight that crap!" She yells, pointing to the needle in the man's hand, "It's gunna take a lot more than that!"

Aaron casually glanced back, a small smile curling onto his lips, "Of course. We knew you would fight, but I wouldn't wanna try if I were you." He turned back to the front, "For one thing that sedative is strong enough to knock out a herd of elephants. And for another there was a small amount of liquid explosive in there, which I can detonate at any time. So please," he smiled once more, "Sit back and relax. I promise we won't hurt you..... much." He chuckled and turned on the radio to BBC.

Danya tensed and slowly sat back with a soft growl. Aaron was sure of what was going through her head. Who were these guys? He noticed her hands clench into fists and rolled his eyes. She was still fighting it? Any regular person would have been out like a light by now. But in the front seat, Aaron moved his mind to something else. He tried to enjoy the ride but instead found his mind thinking in twisted anticipation of the unpleasant task of "breaking" Danya and squeezing any information he could out of her. Turning his attention back to the woman, he saw her breathing had sped up and that she was squeezing her eyes shut, probably trying to blink away the fuzziness he presumed was clawing its way into her brain.

A small groan slipped from Danya's Lips in anger. "You people suck...." she grumbled before Aaron saw her go limp in the rear view mirror. He smirked and let out a small laugh at her comment, but forced himself to refocus as they pulled into the depot...
