"Where is she?" Bluestar looked around the camp. "Did any of you see where she went?" Her clanmates looked ashamed. "She might have gone out of camp," someone said nervously. Bluestar marched to the camp entrance and looked around. She gestured with her tail for Thornclaw and Ironclaw to follow.

Rippletail raced back to the Forestclan border. She no longer wanted to be Thunderclan. She quickly crossed the border and snuck quickly to the other side of the territory. Once she got to the Tunnelclan border, she was out of breath. She had decided to live in Tunnelclan, instead of Forestclan. I wonder if they'll accept me. What happens if they don't. Would I become a rogue?
       "What are you doing on Tunnelclan border?" Rippletail jumped up startled. "What are you doing," the cat repeated eyeing Rippletail suspiciously.
       "I-I wish to join Tunnelclan," Rippletail said, confident but shy. The cat blinked in surprise.
       "Who are you?"
       "My name is Rippletail...yours?"
       "Dawnfire," the she-cat muttered. "Come...I'll take you to Oakstar." Dawnfire started to walk towards the camp, with Rippletail following.
       As soon as they reached camp Dawnfire went up to Oakstar's den while her clanmates watched me. I don't it like when cats stare at me. Dawnfire soon came out with Oakstar and his deputy Goldenwing. "Rippletail," Oakstar started. "Why have you come?" I replied, "I wish to join Tunnelclan. I do not want to be Thunderclan."
       "Why not?"
       The question surprised Rippletail. "Because-because I don't feel like I belong in Thunderclan."
       "Then why do you think you'll belong in Tunnelclan?"
       Rippletail hesitated. She didn't know why. She just felt like Tunnelclan was calling to her. "I don't know," she whispered a couple of minutes later. By now Rippletail could feel the piercing gaze of the Tunnelclan warriors. She slowly started to back out of the camp before Oakstar stopped her.
       "Rippletail...I will give you my decision tomorrow?"
