3rd Person POV

9 : 1 0 A M 

Garmadon slipped on the new suit. It smelt fresh, like linen. Misako smiled softly, "You look...amazing."

"Thank you."

Meanwhile, Lloyd struggled with the tie, "Do I have to wear this? Can't I go in my regular clothes?"

Nya rolled her eyes and placed Stuffins down, before approaching him. She undid his tie, before redoing it, "We need to be able to sneak you guys in. So, casual won't work." She tightened the tie a bit before handing him an earpiece, "Just so you can keep in touch." She reached over to the windowsill, taking her brass knuckles and slipping them into her pockets.

Lloyd smiled and fitted the earpiece over his ear. Kai came up to the two, "Everyone's in position. The minute you get there, you go straight in, followed by Cole, Morro, Seliel, Jay and Wu. Got that?"

The blonde nodded and hugged both the siblings before turning to see that his father was waiting for him, "Let's go."

1 0 : 1 2 A M

Zane arrived at Birchwood, and entered through the door, and smiled softly as he took in his surroundings. He'd missed this place. Straightening up, he briskly marched down the stairs and over to the desk, before setting up his laptop, connecting it with the other gadgets. He typed something in, and smiled before picking up his phone, "Kai? I've hacked the cameras. I have eyes on Clouse, he's in his room."

"Good, keep us updated."

1 0 : 1 7 A M

Since it was the parade, it had given them better coverage, and as planned, Lloyd and Garmadon met up with the other 5.

Pixal, who was working in a café nearby, had accessed the cameras, and were shutting them down. Only someone with advanced knowledge of technology could access them...like her and Zane.

Jay handed Lloyd a gun, "The bullet's locked and loaded. All you have to do is pull the trigger." he murmured as they entered through the double doors.

From across the street, Skylor dodged through crowds, trying to locate Chen. It was harder than she thought. Suddenly she spotted him staring into a mirror, smiling to himself. Gritting her teeth, she marched over.

"Chen."

He turned around, "Ah, Skylor! You've finally come to your senses!"

As much as Skylor didn't want to do this, she had to lure him out to give the others time and a chance, "Yes. I realised that...I should have accepted what I had. And I'm here to..."

Chen stared at her, "You trailed off and didn't finish speaking, what were you gonna say?"

"...apologise. I'm here to apologise. I'll do what you ask."

He smirked triumphantly at his daughter, "Very well. I want my daughter to stand beside me in this parade."

"As you wish, father." They made their way to the large float and boarded on. Chen took his place on the throne and Skylor stood beside him. Dammit. If she had a gun, she could kill him, right here, right now.

Back with the others, a herd of Warriors appeared out of nowhere, stopping the group from their tracks.

"How?" Jay asked, "I thought Pixal shut down the cameras!"

"I did!" Pixal's voice shot through the intercom, "You must have been spotted!"

Cole pushed Lloyd and Garmadon forward, "Go! We've got this!"

With not much choice, they ran off to find Clouse, "Zane, status update?"

"He's in his office. Go!"

"On it!" They ran up a flight of stairs and down a long corridor. Garmadon took his son's arm and pulled him aside, before pointing at the wall, "There."

On the wall, there was a mirror, reflecting into a room. Clouse's room, to be exact. "Take the shot, son."

Shakily, he nodded before raising the gun up, before regaining his stance. He moved forward so he was in the doorway, and pulled the trigger.

However, much to his dismay, the bullet missed narrowly, lodging itself into the painting Clouse was staring at. He turned around and his face twisted into a scowl, "You!"

He lunged towards his desk, grabbing a pistol, before talking into an intercom, "Master. Garmadon is in the building with his brat. We are being infiltrated. An assassination attempt on me was just made. They might be after you too! I suspect they're not alone!"

1 0 : 3 0 A M

"They might be after you too, I suspect they're not alone" Chen glared at his daughter and grabbed her arm, "You tricked me?"

"I didn't mean a word I said!" she spat, kicking him in the back of his legs, causing him to fall. She jumped off the float and broke into a sprint. Looking at the entrance of the mansion, she could see Anacondrai Warriors standing in front of a group of individuals who Skylor knew all too well.

From inside the café she could see a Warrior hold Pixal at gunpoint, whilst she had her hands behind her head.

"Skylor! Over here!" she looked to see Dilara waving her over. The two ran to what looked to be a large hovercraft, "Get in! We're heading to Birchwood."

Meanwhile, Chen responded to Clouse, "Bomb Ignacia."

Back inside the mansion, Clouse had ended the call with Chen before announcing, "Chen has ordered an airstrike on Ignacia, effective immediately."

Lloyd's eyes widened and he ran, trying to tackle Clouse to the ground, however the man had shot his gun.

But Lloyd didn't get hit. He looked down to see Garmadon, laying on the floor, blood pooling from his chest. Taking that opportunity, Clouse ran out of the room and sprinted down the hallway.

"L-Lloyd. Kill them. For me." he stuttured.

"Dad, don't go!"

"I-I-It's for the best. Kai a-and N-Nya will be with you. Go!" he rasped out, before his body stopped moving. Straightening up, he wiped the tears away and ran out of the room.

Meanwhile, Warriors had just ordered all the residents in Ignacia to get back inside. The power went off, and trucks started pulling out. Kai looked at his sister, then at his parents, "Are you thinking what I'm thinking?"

Ray nodded, urgency in his eyes, "Get everyone to the borders, now!" Opening the doors, they sprinted out and burst through doors, grabbing everyone, "We have to go now!"

Griffin, Ash, Shade and Neuro rushed out to where the two siblings were standing, "What the hell's going on?!" Griffin asked.

"Chen's ordered an airstrike. We need to evacuate everyone to the borders."

"On it."

Minutes later, the first bombs fell. Many were injured. The group were trying to get as many to the border, and more bombs dropped from the sky.

Once they'd managed to get everyone they could, Nya looked up in realisation, "I need to get Mom and Dad!" She ran through the village, which was all flames and rubble, before locating her parents, "Mom! Dad!"

"Nya-" Another bomb dropped, sending Ray and Maya back, killing them instantly, "Mom! Dad!" she screamed, her eyes welling up with tears.

Someone grabbed her and picked her up before breaking into a sprint. It was Kai. He dodged incoming bombs until they too, reached the edge.

"They're dead, Kai! They killed them!"

"We're gonna fight for them," he mumbled, hugging her tightly. From above, a hovercraft was above them, lifting the people up. Kai and Nya also were lifted on, and the hovercraft floated away.

This certainly wasn't a Capitol hovercraft, otherwise there'd have been bombs galore.

Back with Lloyd, he ran outside through the back. He could see Clouse and was about to pursue after him when all of a sudden, everything went black.
