* Lucy's POV. *

As I gripped my whip, a drop of cold, cold sweat dropped down my forehead. Could I take that guy on? Clearly, he held a grudge for me for doing something that I didn't do. I was scared, but infuriated. One part of me wanted to beat the guy, however, the piercing, cold aura from the rogue magician stopped me. I knew he was stronger than he looked.

"W-What do you mean,"I stuttered as I took a step back.

Virgo gently pat my back,"Its okay, hime-sama. I'm here for you. "

I nodded. "Thank you. I'm okay."

"What do I want? What do I want? Hahaha.....You would never understand," the voice said bitterly. "But, I will send you to the depths of sorrow and let you feel eternal PAIN"

I twitched. Whoa! That guy sure hated my guts. And I didn't even know why he hated me.

"Don't worry,"he said as if reading my mind. "You soon understand everything!"

" What do you-,"I clenched my jaws.

"No, no time to talk,"the voice paused. "Dance of the time - portal!"

Immediately, I felt nausea. My head was spinning.

"N-Natsu! Help me,"I screamed. "Natsu! Happy!"

No reply. I sniffed. I felt my legs becoming more numb by the second. My could no longer feel anything. It was as if my body was a feather. With no support, I fell down. Although I couldn't feel any pain, I heard a slight thump as I hit the ground.

Virgo's eyes widened,"Hime-sama! I-I-I'm so sorry. I w-will punish myself for not-"

I coughed. "It's okay. I can't even feel pain now. "

"Hime-sama.....,"Virgo was lost in a trance. Her face paled as the man in the cloak stabbed her back - literally.

"NO!!!!!" I screamed as I watched Virgo fall onto the ground.

"H-Hime-sama.....I'm.....so....sorry,"Virgo whispered.

"Oh, just look at you two,"the voice snickered. "Im sooo sorry, you're friend was simply in the way!"

"No,"I glared at the magician in the cloak. "You won't get away with this!"

Slowly, I stood up, still feeling numb I limped to the side.

"Pesky, are we?" The man shook his head with disapproval. "I don't think so."

Not long after, he flicked his hands and his body began to flicker with ghostly flames. I looked at him with horror as I limped backwards towards Virgo.

"D-d-don't come! Please. Don't come near me,"I stuttered with fear.

"Hm,"he chuckled. "Lovely. The sound of fear rings in my ears so sweetly. Lisanna, if only you were here to see this......."

I got up, ready to run. I felt my heart beat faster and faster as I panted.

" No, no,"a smirk formed on his face. "3....2.....1......"

On the cue, my body began to fade. It turned ghostly white to nothing as I watched my very existence fade away.

"H-Hime-sama,"Virgo managed.

I looked at Virgo, but my body had already faded away into thin air. Only my soul was left, but not one Earth. No. Somewhere else. Somewhere that was so engulfed in darkness, one can die of fear and anger towards nothing.

*Natsu's POV*

I heard Luce's voice from the distance as Happy and I roamed the sky. Luce? Her voice was filled with pain and fear. I felt my heart skip a beat.

"Happy,"I said sharply. "Go to Lucy."

"Luce?" Happy tilted his head. "Why?"

I growled. "Can't explain now. Let's go!"

"Aye, sir,"Happy turned around and flew towards where we left Lucy.

"Please be okay,"I prayed under my breath. "Please."

*****Ten minutes later*****

As we landed I saw Virgo, with a knife stabbed at her back.

"Oi," I grunted. "Where's Lucy?"

Virgo lowered her head. "Hime-sama....she was....she......disappeared....."

Immediately, rage engulfed me. What? No! Lucy couldn't just disappear like that. Something happened to her. But what?

"Dammit! Who did it,"I asked impatiently.

"T-the man in the cloak,"Virgo managed.

I narrowed my eyes. "The man in the cloak? Why did he take Luce? Why?"

I was filled with anger. I couldn't control my emotions. Luce........Luce is gone....and it's all my fault.
