"Lookie what I brought!"

"Took your time." Ivy walks over fast to grabbed the food out of Selena hand.

"Well forgive me. It was a bit of trouble to get here. Things are really kicking it out there on the streets in that area." Selena shook her head a bit. "Good thing we don't live in the Doomsday District or be scattered into pieces. I should go get a runner to go out to find something valuable."

Ivy didn't want to think too much about what was going on outside. Along with her buddy inventory mind set to get supplies.

How closer and closer it was getting to the next Extermination. She just wants to focus on tonight.

"Mox still above?"

"Yeah. Can you go help them out? Make sure Bolt doesn't go nuts too."

"Sure, can-do buddy!" Salute and go up the stairs to get to the roof.

She shook her head as she got to work. On the metal table was a basket she was putting together. A picnic basket so to speak. Selena went to go pick up food from a restaurant on their first date they went to eat. Will be desert but left it in the apartment for afterwards. Double check to see she got everything settled. Enough time to go clean up.

"Hey Boss everything up front."

"Thanks again Jason."

The former camp counselor looks at everything and back at her. "You nervous?"

"Nope. Me? Never." Ivy laughs while her vines shake. One of them loosened the grip of a cup. Jason grabs it fast. A low sigh, "Thanks."

"It's fine. Need any help?"

"Naw I got it all covered here. The others finishing the rest above the roof."

A small nod as they gave her grin, "You got this! She is going to love it."

Gave them a little smile and nods. "I hope so. Okay now go on before you have to deal with the trash out there."

"I'm going!" Laughs and gives her a thumbs up, "You got this flower boss!"

Really, hope she does.

After making sure everything is there. Moxxie, Selena returns back down.

"Everything all good and comfy."

"Madre will be here in an hour and a half." Moxxie finished texting as they put the phone up. Bolt by their side with a happy tail wagged. "I told her to go ahead and get dress my apartment for today for yall 'date out'. I told her I'll be taking Bolt home tonight."

"Two hours. Got it." Puts time on her phone. Deep breaths. You got.

"Aww Ivy don't be nervous."

Ivy has every right to be nervous! The last time she got this nervous when she had to asked Moxxie permission. This is the icing on the cake.

"We're going to start heading out. Need anything else for us to do?"

"No, no, no. Just thank you so much. The both of you."

"Well of course anything for a friend."

"You didn't charge the food to my account."

"Just a little extra on my own tab." Grin at her.

"Greedy bloody witch." Rolls her eyes at the snickering woman. Look down at Moxxie who just staring at her. Sees them open their mouth. Then back to closing again. Stomp their hoof in frustration. "What wrong?"

Moxxie surprised the pair as they hugged Ivy.

Ivy eyes widen very wide at what is happening. Not moving an inch. Then immediately takes so much advantage of this as she hugs back. They hugged her first.

They hugged her first!

Her Imp son hugged first!

"Ivy your ugly crying."

"Shut up. I'm enjoying every second of this." Teary eyes as she just picked up Moxxie and held them tighter. Yes, today is defiantly the day!

Finally, she had to put them down.

As the pair heads off. Ivy zooms, to finish the rest of the set up. Then heads to the second floor of her room and gets to work cleaning up!

Ivy rechecks herself in the mirror.

Wore a dark violet crop top with the sleeves long with a sheer texture and coloring of light lavender. There were rose flower printed designs on the sleeves. A pair of skinny jeans with embroidery flowers on the sides below the pockets. At the bottom the legs look like vines with buds that had embroidery stitch to it. Then a pair of boots to slide in. Kept her vine like dreadlocks up in a high ponytail. Light makes up in a certain area of her eyes.

Gave herself a thumbs up. Look at what she was doing and head down. That was a bit dorkie of her.

"Hey Ivy I'm here!"

"Coming!" Throws some breath mints in. Rush out.

Maria chilling as she waits. She wore a sleek sleeveless kitted vest with a neck strap. Next, a pair of black shorts that could be hidden from the green long length slit skirt that was sheer like appearance. Her bracelet cuffed still on her hands, fingerless gloves. A pair of ankle length boots. Her hair stayed down as the shoulder length was a bit style. Look at Ivy and smile brightly. "Looking great my buttercup! Sure, you want to go out?"

"Right back at you, my lobster." Walk on over take her hand and spin her around. Smile at the giggle as the two play along. "I mean as much as I like to admire the rest. I did make a reservation."

"All right. I hold myself till we get back."

"How polite of you. Shall we?"

"We shall my lady." Bows at her.

"Good an- oh shit! Forgot to close the damn door upstairs." Ivy cursed as she went to the hallways.

"I thought wasn't time to work on your plants?" Follow her behind.

"I want to mess a bit of them before next month hit."

Maria shrugs but hey she can get it.

The third floor of Ivy building just the laboratory to make the drugs. Nothing crazy with the plants like she used to do as a human. Along with a limit as her powers of plants so to speak not as lively. Still over the years able to closes ones as possible to copy. It just taken a lot of time, patience and careful wellbeing.

"Hey Maria come check this out." Ivy by the door that leads to the roof.

"What? Are the rats finally trying to take control of your roof."

"Don't jinx me like that."

Maria chuckles as she comes over. "Okay what is it?"

A bit taken back to see how the roof looks like a picnic set up. Blankets, pillows set out. Two plates, utensils and glass wear set-up. Non-flammable lanterns around that were a mix of different colors around.

"This looks adorable! A roof picnic." Maria tail poke her arm. "Reservation huh?"

A small shrugged with a lack of guilt on her face "What can I say? I want to keep you to myself. Come on everything is still fresh."

"Eat, cuddle and sightseeing. You just know, a way to my heart."

The pair get settled into their picnic set-up. Cups filled with the unopen drink. The pair talk very casually as they get to eating. Ignore everything else around besides each other.

"I feel stupid."

"We're here to make sure nobody interrupts the pair. You even thought of the idea." Both hiding on top of the other building in the distance holding a pair of binoculars, and both wearing dark hoodies. While Bolt being good while watching their backs. A doggie hoodie.

Gotta makes sure nobody gets in the way.

"This was your plan dear nephew of mine." Wag a finger at him. While still holding the binoculars Then point at a direction. "West-east side with the sixth-floor building, fourth row with a cracked window looking like a bat. Gun out."

No, sounds can be heard from the sniper. But the window shattered as the sinner went down. No, time, plan to ruin what was happening above the roof. Nobody would think any different of it living in Hell.

"That suppressor very handy."

Moxxie hums in agreement.

"You excited?"

Glance slightly up at her, and then back at the scope. "Can't you tell?"

A small hum while she kept looking. Gave them two other destination spots. The sinners went down after another. "Yes, very much. It's fine to find some good even in this hellhole."

Stay like that a little longer the silence besides directions where to shoot. Even shot down two droids. Until they had to stop because of an unexpected situation.

"Original."

"Yes?" Pat Bolt head as she cooed at the adorable beast. She wonders about possible puppy sales in the future.

"Your bun choking."

The hair started to hack as if something was stuck down.

Selena frowns as she moves the hairpin in her hair. "This is why I tell you to chew everything before you swallow. You should have learned the first time. Go on let it out."

SPLAT!

Look at what they just hack out with their eyes widened.

Uh oh.

Moxxie picks it up off the ground. While Selena looked like she was trying to strangle her bun.

"I wish you had a throat and rip you apart! Im not going down to being fertilizer because of your stomach!"

The hair bun 'burp' to spit out left over crumbs.

"Disgusting!"

"Can shave your hair later. We got to get this over there!"

"Okay, okay I have an idea!"

"Besides your attempt at gliding."

Selena head down in defeat and let out sad reptilian sounds. Wrist grabbed by the shorter companion with Bolt following in excitement. As the pair runs fast to get to the café.

"So, what on today dessert menu?"

Ivy finished the rest of her drink as she placed the glass down, "Will get to that later for now enjoy the view."

"I already have great enjoyment looking at you." Smirk while Ivy pokes her cheek.

"That sounded cliché."

"Hey you're smiling so you can't deny liking it."

Got her there.

The pair stayed silent staring at the red sky of the Pride ring. Nothing but red. Red sky. Red floating pentagram in the air. That red planet? Orb? That floats in the sky with another red pentagram. The only thing that is not red is the glowing white orb with floating clouds, or wings, close to the bigger orb.

"I sometimes envy you, Moxxie and the others going to any other rings. Yet, the one you go back is your home in Wrath. Could go to the others anytime but don't. I hear many families either stay in their ring never traveling or would move for various reasons. A lot just like back on Earth." Ivy smiles a little wearily. "I wish I was yall sometimes."

"To just travel?"

"There that. I hate this ring but I did find good things coming out of it. I made a living with it. I made friends. I found enemies. I saw many things. I found your crazy son tha try to make me pay him with chocolate coins. Who I got to meet the best lobster of the ring." Pull her over as she got a snickered but her eyes showed her warmth.

"Awww hun now that sweetest cheesiest thing I heard yet out of that mouth." Tap her lip with her finger. "Anything else you like to add to that?"

"Well, perhaps I got a little something to say."

((Ivy singing, Maria singing (pretend female is singing), Both singing. A few words change.))

"I wanna get this right, baby
I wanna thrill you in the way you deserve
I wanna blow your mind, darling."

Lean in close as she purred against her shorter love. Who returns, she raises an eyebrow while her body moves to the beat. Watch as the plant sinner gets up. Began to dance to her rooftop.

"I'm just having trouble getting up the nerve
I wanna give you what you want."

The vines around the shop tapping to the beat. A dance in their own way to keep up with the other above. Then a loud smack to the three milk thieves trying to be sneaky and break in. Still on security duty.

"I wanna be the woman you choose
I wanna sweep you off your feet"

A light giggle as the vines got behind Maria to sweep her off her feet indeed. Place back down but Maria took the end of the vine as she danced with it. Spins around slightly. Then pick up from behind while Ivy kisses her cheek. Lightly skipped to set the two of them back to their spot.

"Without puking on your shoes
Maybe I'll do better in the candlelight
I gotta get this right."

"No, no, no, stay right where you are missy!" Ivy points at the Imp to stay right there while her vines grab the basket. "I'll put out the fire, my love."

"I wanna make you swoon, baby
I wanna rock you with my righteous romance
I wanna set a mood, darling
But I'm sweating through the seat of these pants,"

"Are you okay?" Maria was confused as she watched Ivy shaking a little. As if she was nervous.

"I had planned to read a poem.
I thought I'd play a little lute."

Ivy smiled as her hand in the basket to find said 'lute'.

"Ooh, here's a thing
I've got a ring"

Hand looking around and began to move a bit faster in panic. Vines are now searching. The box! Did she forget to put it in?

"I didn't bring?!
Oh, shoot!"

Lift the basket up and shake it. Put her head in the basket as her eyes scanned. Nope nothing!

"So, this went very well, goodnight
I didn't get this right"

"Ivy? You okay!" Watch her get up fast. Still has the picnic basket on her head. Then she began to run to the ledge. Maria eyes widen as she gets up to chase after her, "Hey! Come back! Ivy!"

Ivy jumps off the roof. Use her vines to grab parts of the building to lower herself back below. She made sure to not jump on Maria truck as she reaches the ground. Goes to the back door open those leads to the café kitchen. Began to search around for it.

"I've never been in love before
I don't know what I'm doing."

Memory pops from the past of her human life. Sneer to not think about that time. Of that horrid man. Along with her time here in Hell. Yes, able to have fun of all sorts but never found love. Never thought she would be in her predicament. Accept it.

"I've never been too worldly in the ways of woman-wooing
I'm freezing up, I'm blowing it"

Rip the picnic basket off her. Began to search around for the box. Could hear Maria boots running down the stairs. She just wanted today to be great! Not like this!

"Not what I meant to do."

Turn around to see Maria waiting right there. Not wanting to wait but following her. Concern in her eyes but then a little smile at her that made Ivy feel alive.

"I know how crazy lucky I am to love you."

Vines shot out to grab Maria and lift her up in the air. She couldn't help but laugh as she pulled over to be in Ivy arms. Goes along to place her arms around her shoulders to hold on and smile brightly as Ivy just danced. Not minding at all as they have done this plenty of times. Ivy twirled and spun them both around as they danced into the kitchen. Maria tail would wag or curled up around Ivy waist.

"Gorgeous, funny, brave, and brilliant
Beautiful, won't give up on anyone
You, oh!"

Maria kissed Ivy on the cheek and nuzzled her with a flushed expression of compliments "Aww!"

"I wanna get this right, baby.
I wanna love you in the best way I can"

Ivy dip Maria down a pulled her back up. A little dance as she holds Maria closer with their foreheads together.

"I wanna make you cry."

The imp looked amused as she snicked while Ivy laughed. "In a good way Lobster!"

"Sure Buttercup!"

"By proving I could be your perfect woman
I meant to write it in the sky."

Put Maria down on the table. Kiss her forehead as she smiles at this amazing woman. Press her forehead against her own.

"I meant to get down on one knee
I planned to really try to be the opposite of me
But Maria, I will love you with all my might"

Eyes look down on the ground. A low hum as she
feels Maria brushes her dreadlocks out of the way.

"I promise you, in here, I've got that part right
Or maybe we should do this on some other night."

"Wait!" Maria jumps off the worktable.

Ivy was confused about what she was doing. Until she watches her get down on one knee. Eyes budge seeing her pull out a small wooden box from her pocket. When she opens it up it reveals a simple rose-gold band. A diamond shaped topaz stone sitting at the center of a spiral lead design.

"Ivy Barbra Moore, will you marry me?" Maria smiles up at her as her gold-red eyes shine up at her.

The sinner looks down with a wide mouth expression. Then smile as she then laughs with joy and her black, green eyes show the same feeling. "You got that right!"

"Baby, I'm gonna thrill you in the way you deserve"

Ivy spots Moxxie, Selena, and Bolt by the back door. Along with the ring box! Moxxie tosses it to her as her vine shoots out to grab it. Smile big as she spinning with Maria, to kneel next and open the box up. A ring with a rose-gold band with a tear-drop shaped emerald stone in the middle, with twig vine leaf wrapped around it.

"We're gonna get this right, darling
As long as we're together, we won't lose our nerve"

Both couldn't help but laugh putting the other ring on the other finger. The pair stood up together.

"I'm gonna be the man you want."

Maria grabs Ivy hand and spin her around. Caught the taller woman in in her arms.

"Guess what? You already are!"

The pair grinned in sync.

"I wanna make your life so good!"

"You're doing pretty good so far!

The two dancing together like there is no tomorrow. Not care where they are living. How many would laugh at this. A commitment between a sinner and hellborn. Well, can go fuck off to mind their own business as they already know long ago what they were doing when they agreed to date.

It is just the two of them right now at the moment.

"We got the hard part over with
Now hold me tight
We're gonna get this right"

The two shared a kiss.

"Yes!" Selena laughs as she jumps around with Bolt joining her.

Moxxie eyes soften at the pair. They were happy for the pair in all honestly to find someone.

Then the kiss started to get a little too frisky.

Nope!

"Huh, so Maria the topper."

"Were, going to take the cake out!" Moxxie grabs Selena cloak and Bolt follows along as the pair take the stairs to the apartment. Not staying to watch that!

Phone vibrates in their pocket.

Pull it out to see lots of notification updates. Huh they thought they turned that feature off. Turn the feature off not seeing what those messages were about. Then a text from Blitz.

Hey the cnnibl btch whoreshppr wo eie u shot ut. Merthaw. She sys fck u but thnks I gt to met a jucy brri!

So, they were very confused, lost and just texted back.

Okay? Welcome?

Not going to even ask what that was about. Goes to take the cake out. Can thaw it out while the two below finish up.

Ivy actually Moxxie permission if she can marry Maria. At that time Maria was already planning to propose. So, Moxxie already knew enough. Of course, said yes. No, threats just treat her well.

Blitz'o' was talking about Martha, the cannibal kids' mothers. Who she asked him to leave Moxxie a message. The 'brri' being Ms. Mayberry.
