All Elena could do was listen to the sound of the horses and the townsfolk chattering as she made her way towards the store all her life she has lived in this small town called Westview the people in this town were kind and caring everyone in this town knew who she and her Family was her Dad and Ma owned the most famous horses around that was kept this small town running bringing in new people Elena pick her up her the end of her blue lace dress as she steps into the store. The smell of warm coffee and pecan pie covert most of the store Elena couldn't help but take the scent in a smile formed on her face as she look around the store the store was filled with jars lace, and dresses. "It's so good to see you dear "An older voice stated Elena looked to Mr. Wayne who was nearly around his late fifty's he was dressed in black pants and a simple white button shirt.

" It's good to see you too Mr. Wayne," Elena said as he approached her Elena handed him the paper that Ma had given her before she left the house for the stuff they needed for the house Mr. Wayne started to wander around the store getting to the supplies   " How is your Pa doing Elena ?" Mr. Wayne asked her Elena walked towards the counter where he was sticking the supplies in a small basket for her she sat her arms on the counter and looked at him " He's good but stays busy most the time " Elena answered Pa would stay mostly on the land they owned 200 acres and 2000 head of horses they were even lucky to see him at times " Tell your family I said Hello "  Mr. Wayne waved as Elena made her way of the store gripping the basket in her hand most the town was filled with a drunken man who spends most there. Money On liquor or the Saloon girls the music was louder than the Wagons and horses that passed by her Elena could only shake her head at the drunken men laying on the side of the building waiting for it to open a few buildings down Elena.

Saw two men working on the old abandoned building Elena couldn't help but stare at them as they continue to work on it she saw one of the guys hang up a cross she continue to stare till she made her way home the wind was blowing and the birds were singing Elena loved the Beauty of the land they lived at least 20 miles from town "Do you need a ride miss ?" A strange male voice said Elena turned around and saw a man riding on a chestnut horse his brown eyes met her blue ones Elena couldn't help but stare into the " Miss ?" The stranger repeated it Elena blushed and looked away he had a black jacket on with a simple brown shirt and pants he stepped off his horse and walked towards her.

"I'm sorry sir, but I can walk the rest of the way " Elena managed to say as she continue to walk in the direction home was the Guy started to laugh and followed behind her " If you're headed to the Rivers Farm I suggest that you ride with me " he stated Elena crossed her arms and laughed at him " I know that sir I am more than happy to walk plus I don't even know who you are "She laughed before continue to walk away but he kept walking beside her "I'm Jacob Griffen,"  he told her Elena to stop to get a good look at this mysterious stranger should she ride home with him " Sure why not " She finally gave in.

Jacob smiled as he climbed onto his horse then offer her a hand Elena took his hand and swung her leg behind the saddle he then click to the horse as it began to canter Elena held onto Jacob tight the miles seem to have gotten shorter as her home came into view " Why are you coming here anyway?" Elena asked Jacob as they got to the front of her house they both climb off the horse Jacob was about to answer her but he got interrupted "Elena! where have you been ?" Elizabeth yelled at her twin sister as she came running out of the house their house was about two stories and had a beautiful wrapped around porch Pa had spent years building his and Ma dream home he was finally able to finish it a couple of years earlier " Elizabeth would you calm down I'm sorry it took me so long In town " Elena explain as Elizabeth began to approach her and Jacob.

"Who Is This ?" Elizabeth asked pointing to Jacob "Why were you riding with him " she whispered at the end Elena huffed at her twin sister "This is Jacob and he offered me a ride home " She stated as Jacob just stood there watching them "I'm here to meet with your Pa about getting some horses for the army" Jacob explained Elena smiled at him " Pa is in the barn " Elizabeth said as she pointed to it the barn was about fifty yards from the house he nodded his head towards them and headed that way " He sure doesn't look like he's in the army " Elizabeth spatted as she grafts a hold to Elena's hand as they made there way to the house Elena walked to the kitchen and placed the basket on the table "He might be"Elena told her sister as they began to but the stuff away.

Elena then began to look out the window at Pa and Jacob who were out talking by the barn "'Looks like someone fell in love"' Elizabeth teased her she just huffed in response "Whatever " Elizabeth laughed at her then wrapped her arms around her sister " Invited him to stay for dinner " Elizabeth stated Elena looked to her sister "I couldn't!" She whispered Elizabeth laughed at her then began to make her way outside " Jacob would you like to stay for dinner! " Elizabeth shouted Elena wanted to dig a hole and put herself in it Jacob laughed and look at Elena and smiled "Sure I would love that "

"Great !" Elizabeth shouted before walking inside the house with Elena " Your welcome " she told her sister before they both started laughing.
