The Untold Story (Last Chapters Special)
Ging had met her during a mission. He had just finished wrapping up some loose ends, about to return when he had caught the sight of her fighting off some monsters. Her long forest hair flew in the air as she used her sword to impale them, pulling her sword out once she was sure they were done.
Her fighting style was amazing.
Once she was done, she was turning to leave, but then found herself looking at his excited eyes.
"That was so cool! Your skills are top-notch!" he cheered.
She blinked, but chuckled quietly, "Thank you. I trained really hard to get to where I am today. I assume you are Ging Freecss?" She had heard stories of the child who had risen among the ranks.
"Yeah, I am!" he nodded. "We're the same age too! Can I get your name?"
She looked taken aback by that honest question, yet something inside of her found it cute how straightforward he was.
"Alright then," she eventually agreed. "I'm Himari. No last name because I'm an orphan."
"O-Oh..." he went quiet. "I'm sorry for bringing it up..."
Hearing that, she couldn't help the little giggle that escaped her lips. This kid was taking the blame even though she had mentioned it without his prompting. It was a worrying trait, though she had to admit that she loved that. "You're cute."
"H-HEY!" he blushed full-on scarlet. "I'm not cute! I am a Hunter!"
She chuckled, "That has no correlation."
He covered his face, "S-Shut up!"
Himari laughed. Something told her that her days had just gotten more interesting.

"What did you call me out for?" Ging asked Himari as they sat down on the sandy beach.
She twiddled with her fingers. While they had been dating for two years now, after they had been nudged by their friends to do so, she wasn't sure about this. Asking someone to marry you out of the blue was really an entirely different realm.
"Well," she finally began. "I... I want to marry you."
As intelligent and smart as he was, Ging was very slow when it came to romance.
As a result, he had confusion on his face.

"Huh?" His eyes widened, and he nearly fell into the sand. "WHAT?!"
Himari just facepalmed, "Did I stammer?"
Wait, she HAD stammered.
... Right.
"N-Not really, b-but still," his face had turned into a tomato. "I-I don't know what to say."
She rolled her eyes, "Ging, don't be an idiot."
"HEY!"
"Just answer the question already!" She snapped back.
He coughed, and proceeded to look far far away, "I-I..."
Her ears perked up, and she leaned in, straining to hear the next words out of his mouth.
He exhaled, before he said, "O-Of course I would marry you Hima."
"... Wait really?" She blinked.
"Why do YOU sound surprised?"
She coughed. Now it was her turn to flush. She had never expected him to say yes, though it was nice to hear that. Her heart began to feel warm again.
Honestly, before she had met Ging, she had been alone. Her heart was cold, and it reflected itself in her battles.
However, what had started off as resignation to teaching him had become love. His excitement smiles, and warmth... it slowly broke away the ice chaining her heart down.
She...
She was glad she had met him.
And she knew that even though he didn't say it, he was too.

"Push! Push!"
"I'M TRYING YOU DOOFUS!"
"Well try harder!!!"
The doctor and nurses had to hold back their facepalms as the husband and wife had their argument. This was insane, and they suddenly understood why others had refused to take up this case. They were insane; worse than any other patient.
"I will destroy you once I'm off this bed!" Himari swore.
"As if you can!"
"CAN WE JUST FOCUS ON THE BIRTH OF THE BABY?!" The doctor finally got so ticked off he gave both of them bonks on the head.
"HEY I'M THE PATIENT HERE!"
"DON'T HIT MY WIFE!"
At that moment, the poor doctor questioned what he had done wrong in his life to deserve this.
But thankfully, the anger subsided and soon they could focus on the birth in general.
"Push!"
"I can see the head!"
"YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH!"
The sounds of a baby crying echoed as Himari inhaled and exhaled, sweat falling down her rosy cheeks.
Ging had a silly grin on his face, quite a rare scene considering how serious he was, and he turned to Himari, holding the newly-born baby in his hands.
"M-My baby..." she smiled weakly, and her hands reached out to touch his small ones. "Y-You have been born... W-Welcome to the world, Gon."
Her hand fell down, and the sound of her heart no longer beating echoed sadly through the room.
"H-HIMA!!! NO!!!!!"

The baby pulled lightly at the turban he had on his head, but Ging gently pushed it down, "No no, Gon."
The baby pouted, but soon diverted his attention to the smell of the sea wafting into his nose.
"You like it, huh?" He chuckled quietly. "You're going to be staying near it for a long while, Gon, so you might as well get used to it."
His eyes then looked up as they landed on the island they were approaching; his hometown.
"Hima, I'm sorry for not taking care of Gon, but I'm sure that my grandma will take care of him well. Better her than me who kills people," he closed his eyes. The guilt would never leave his heart, so Gon was better off with people who would be able to care for him instead of Ging Freecss, who was still grieving over his wife's death. He knew that if he was left alone, he would not be able to treat his child well. He hated that it was the bitter truth he had to swallow, yet he would carry it to the end of time.
"Welcome, Gon, Himari, to Whale Island."
