Zim groans as he had no idea what the heck just happened. One moment he was discussing with Skroodge, and then the next, he suddenly blacked out. He hope that there wasn't a spy in there or else he's gonna-

"Zim!"

Zim turns his attention to see a certain purple haired girl who is standing a bit too close for his liking, he quickly rolls over out of shock... only to suddenly fall from his bed.

"Zim!" Lily called out as she helps Zim up and put him back on his bed.

"Grr... why did you stand too close to my face?!" Zim barked at her.

"I was checking to see if you're okay, you dimwit!" Lily told him off. "Seriously, do you ever use that brain of yours?"

"Of course I do!" Zim replied, "If I haven't, I wouldn't be the Great and Almighty Zim!"

"You're still calling yourself that?" Lily asked him bluntly and mumbles, "Then again... I guess that's part of your charm..."

"Huh?"

"Huh?"

"... I heard you say something." Zim pointed out.

"You're imagining things," Lily denied it quickly, and asks, "What happened? We heard some noise from the distance, so me and Dib checked on you two and found you guys unconscious."

"Wait... Dib-stink found us?!" Zim asked in shock, "I'm surprised he didn't take the chance to kill me."

"... We don't have time for your pitiful rivalry," Lily groaned, "We have far more serious things to be concern about, like who knock you guys out?"

"Zim doesn't know!" Zim answered, "Even as great as I doesn't know who does such a thing!"

"I see. And since we don't know, then there's nothing else to talk about it then." Lily told him, "Now, moving to the next topic; Do you have a feeling about Ate's plans? We know that her motive is revenge against the Olympians, but we don't know her next move is."

"Mmm... no..." Zim answered honestly, "All I can guess was she's planning on resurrecting the Shadow Dragon."

"... I don't think it's that simple," Lily answered, "After all, what's the point of summoning the Shadow dragon? Considering she's a goddess, she can easily do it herself."

"... Zim... didn't consider that..." Zim answered awkwardly.

"... I feel like we're merely scratching the surface here," Lily said, "After all... she did trigger my transformation... I still remember it honestly."

"... I want to ask, but I don't want to bring up bad memories." Zim said earnestly, which surprises Lily, but she takes a deep breath and shakes her head.

"No... you should know what happened back when I... I first transformed..." Lily mumbled at the end, "... This is what Ate did to me..."

(Flashback)

The two teleports back to SEG, where it's at the top where Lily was still visibly shaking and her weapons were broken. Ate walked to a massive pillar with purple circuits surrounding it.

"Good... the system is still working." Ate mumbled while she turns to Lily who was on the ground, and she grabs her by the hair.

"Aahhh!!! L-LET GO OF ME! LET GO OF ME!!!" Lily screamed as she was mentally breaking down.

"..." Ate kept her mouth shut as she pushed Lily into the pillar, which shocks her.

"No... NOOO!!!" Lily screamed as everything was slowly turning black.

(Flashback ends)

"After that... I felt so much pain that I couldn't bare it..." Lily explained with dull eyes, "Then... all of those bad memories... those memories that I wished I never remembered... came flooded in all at once..."

Lily slides down against the wall and sits on the floor as she puts her hand on her hair, and continues as she starts to tear up, "... The experiments... the bombing during the Kasai war... the attempted assault... the poverty I was thrust into when my father lost his title... the prejudice I suffered... and... the stress of everything that had been happening... it... it was too much for me... I... I... I couldn't resist it... it was all too much to take in that I... I just lost it. I just couldn't handle it anymore... I just want to end it..."

Zim stays quiet as Lily starts to tear up and puts her hand on her eyes to cover her face. After all, to her, the perfect soldier should be emotionless; even if she's not a soldier anymore, she tries so hard to suppress her emotions due to the situation. She can't afford give herself a mental break, she can't afford to calm down to understand everything that has been happening... especially the fact that she's a clone. That's what she is; a clone. Not human. Just some man-made demigoddess.

Zim takes a deep sigh and gives a sympathetic look as he starts to realise the differences between Lily and Gaz; the Gaz he knew would never cry and wouldn't give a damn, but Lily... she... she is surprisingly more human then even the original Gaz. Then again, Gaz never had faith in humanity in the first place, but Lily...despite their first impression, she is surprisingly more kind hearted and emotional then he expected.

He still remembers when they first met; he thought she was a robot due to her lack of emotions, but then later on, he start to realise there's more to her then it looks at first. Despite how she comes off as, she is much more human deep down then she comes off at first. So... he has one question in mind; "Lily..."

"... Mmm...?" Lily sobbed.

"... Why do you... still trying to hide your emotions?" Zim asked her, which she widen her eyes and wipes her tears.

"... I... You know that I was adopted by the Abernathy family, right?" Lily reminded him, which Zim nods, "Well... my family was stripped off their wealth when father questioned the way they governed the world. When I find out... I knew I have to do something even if the entire world was against us, so... I tried to close off my emotions because that's how I pictured a perfect soldier; a soldier who has no emotions and willing to do any task necessary, even if it involves killing..."

"..."

"... I realised now... I'm no perfect soldier..." Lily sobbed as she starts to cry again and looks at Zim with teary eyes, "I'm... a freak... a unnatural being... that's... who I am..."

"... Lily..." Zim mumbled as he gets up as he goes up Lily and sits next to her.

"I... I don't know what to do, ok?!" Lily shouted in a panicked tone, "I-I just don't know to do anymore?! I just don't! This is all too confusing for me to comprehend!"

"Lily! Calm the Irk down!" Zim told her off, where she just stares at him with her teary eyes, "Quit crying, it's honestly sickening seeing you like this."

"... Sorry..." Lily apologised.

"Look, it's stressful and confusing for us," Zim told her, "Heck! I'm just as lost as you are! My knowledge of the situation is the same as yours, to be perfectly blunt."

"I know..."

"But, there is one thing that the great Zim is very sure of," Zim said as he stands up and turns his head to her, "That I know you're strong just like the great Zim here!" As he points to himself.

Lily stays quiet a bit, then she wipes her tears with a smile. She is still tearing up, but she has that small smile on her face regardless. She gets up and hugs Zim, which catches him by surprise as his face. He doesn't know what to do... until he hears the door open, revealing to be Dib.

"Hey guys," Dib called out as he asks, "Do you guys have any....?"

Dib sees Lily hugging Zim, who is awkwardly staring and just slowly shaking his head, while Dib has a big smile on his face... and takes out his axe.

"You know... I been looking for a practice dummy." Dib said with a murderous glee on his eyes, "And I find the perfect one!"

"AAAHHHHH!!!" Zim screamed as he pushes Lily away from him, which she falls on the ground, and quickly runs out of the room while Dib chases after him.

"I'm not done with you, you bastard!" Dib yelled at him.

"It's not what you think!!!" Zim yelled back.

"I don't care, you creep!" Dib yelled back while chasing after him.

Lily growls and stands up as she chases after them, while yelling, "I-Oi! Can you guys not kill each other for five minutes!"

(Meanwhile)

While Ate, Kronin, Red and Purple are dealing with the paparazzis on their way out of the aeroplane, Kuro is sitting and watching from a tall building with a shadowy figure with a black cloak with his hood up.

The dark half goddess sighs out of boredom while swinging her legs back and forth. She stands up and starts to walk around with the edge of the building, which the figure gets a bit closer to her.

"Oh relax! It's not like I'm gonna fall to my death." Kuro told him very casually, "Besides, I'm not stupid enough to do so. I'm just bored out of my mind! Hey! Do you have those things the mortals called video games?"

"..."

"Eh... thought as much," Kuro groaned and sighed, "Whatever. It doesn't matter to me, honestly. Though, I will admit, the city is surprisingly advanced, albeit not as much compared to Imperium city back home."

"..."

"Mm? You're wondering why I'm even helping Ate?" Kuro asked him, and just simply says, "Simple; I have nothing else to do. After all, I'm simply created to serve her plans, just like you were resurrected to serve as my bodyguard a month ago, even though that's not necessary."

"..."

"I do have to wonder though; how comes you're not talking?" Kuro asked him, "Oh... that was a stupid question; you loathe our guts, but don't have a choice in the matter since your life is bound to Ate, just like Prof Membrane."

"Grrr..." The figure growled at her in frustration and hates the fact that she's right.

"I was correct, mm? I thought as much." Kuro said, "Though... I do wonder how's Zim and Dib is doing right now? Knowing them through that child's memories, probably still at each others' throats even when it comes to a common goal."

Kuro yawns loudly and stretches her limbs as she goes walks to the ladder, but gets stopped by the figure. "Ugh... I just wanted some food. Even though I'm immortal, this woman isn't. I need to feed her body somehow."

"..."

"Yeah, yeah. A petite woman who looks like a barefooted homeless person with strange glowing veins walking on the streets would definitely attract too much attention." Kuro said sarcastically, "In that case, I order you to buy me cheesy pizza! Chop chop!"

"Ugh..." The figure groaned as he just teleports away.

Kuro looks at the afternoon sky as the wind blows her long hair and she smirks as she thinks, "Hehe... too bad for you lot... I know where you are right now!" And she starts snickering as she holds her mouth to avoid attracting attention and awaiting the right time for her time to shine.
