Beetlebreeze. Cute! I don't think I've ever seen 'Beetle' used for a female OC.

 Past names: Beetlekit, Beetlepaw. Okay!

 Clan: RiverClan. Ooh, another RiverClan OC! 

 Gender: She/her. Alright.

Sexuality: Straight. Cool.

 Role: Queen. Cute!

Appearance: Dark brown, mottled, and rosette She-cat with different shades of brown. Light amber eyes, and likes to wear willow leaves wound around her left ear and forearm. She also is described to smell like wet soil and rain. The note on her scent is cool! She sounds like a very pretty cat!

 Personality: She's a very compassionate and understanding cat, although she can also be simple and homely. Okay, a few more details could be nice. 

 Mate: Waterwatcher. (Deceased; Silver and grey tabby tom with silver eyes) Kits: Flowerkit. (Flowerfeather) (Living; Grey and light-brown tabby She-cat with light amber eyes) Poor thing lost her mate, that sucks.  

 Kin: Father: Toadshine (Living) (Brown-black tom with a long, black scar running down his hindleg and dark amber eyes) Mother: Thornbite. (Living) (Brown She-cat with light amber eyes and torn ears) Half-Sisters: Woodpaw (Woodwind) (Living) (Light-brown She-cat with green eyes) Stumpypaw (Living) (Dark grey spotted tom with blue eyes and a short tail) Nice! I like the name Thornbite a lot.

Cause of Death: Kitting. (Neither her kit, nor she survived) That's so sad! Poor babies. I rarely see OCs who die in kitting. 

Past ranks: Kit, Apprentice, Warrior, Queen. Alright. 

 Good traits: A very compassionate, understanding, sensitive, and unsophisticated cat, she is always ready to talk with a fellow clanmate about anything. She's always the peacemaker within her clan and will try her best to break up an argument. I think she'd be a good mediator in some alternate universe! Balanced. 

 Bad traits. She's also naive and sometimes will get herself hurt emotionally or mentally trying to break up an argument. She can be easily taken advantage of when it comes to other cats getting what they want from her. Poor thing. Balanced here too.

Balanced here too! But I'd assume her swimming would be higher, if she's a RiverClan cat. 

 Likes: Talking with other Clanmates about their lives, taking care of Flowerkit, remembering the good memories about her mate with Flowerkit, eating trout and water vole, cool rainy days. Alright!

Dislikes: Arguing and arguments, missing her mate, eating birds, very hot days. Fair. 

 Backstory: Beetlekit was born on a cool, rainy morning in Green-leaf to Toadshine and Thornbite. Her mother was devastated to see that her kit was a She-kit and not a tom, as the leader of RiverClan, Larchstar was a ruthless and mean tom, who mistreated She-cats in the clan, and Thornbite wouldn't be able to protect her from him. Her father, Toadshine, couldn't care less about her and ignored her whenever he could. Despite this, she grew into a joyful, sweet kit and wasn't conscious of her father or the leader. Poor thing! I seem to be seeing a trend with neglectful fathers lately. 

She was sheltered by her mother as best as she could be, and even though Thornbite wasn't the most nurturing or compassionate mother, she was extremely protective of her one kit. Beetlekit grew quickly into Beetlepaw and was mentored by a kind and patient tom called Lizardbelly. They became good friends as she grew up and eventually became Beetlebreeze, named for her swiftness, and her mother was very glad to be out of the nursery, and yet also very proud but worried for her daughter. Her father, once again, couldn't care less about her. She was swift and a good hunter as a warrior, but while catching fish, she was ambushed by a rogue. She fought hard and bravely, but she was an awful fighter and was heavily wounded and had to be saved by Lizardbelly and a warrior called Lightbeam, who both chased the rogue out of RiverClan. She was gently taken into Waterwatcher, the current Medicine Cat's den, and stayed there for several moons. She's not a very lucky cat, is she? 

As he watched over her, they began to become good friends, talking about their favorite things and hopes. Beetlebreeze soon began to fall in love with him, and even though she knew it was against the Warrior Code, she told him her feelings. She was happily surprised to find he returned her feelings, and they considered running away to be loners, but they equally couldn't come to the idea of leaving their clanmates behind. So, when she found out that she was pregnant with his kit, she secretly told Lizardbelly about her relationship with Waterwatcher, and asked him to pose as her kit's adopted father. He instantly agreed as he had been crushing on her ever since she became a warrior. It's a bit generic to have a cat fall in love with a medicine cat, (Forbiden Relationship) but if it's writen well and explained well, it can still work. Also, the whole thing with Lizardbelly taking on the fatherly role is giving me Bluefur/Thrushpelt vibes! 

She was planning to tell Waterwatcher soon after, but tragedy struck. One blazing hot Sunhigh, Lightbeam came rushing into camp, her eyes wide with grief and disbelief. She ran into Larchstar's den, and soon after he came out to announce that Waterwatcher had been killed, his body torn and shredded by the same rogue that had attacked Beetlebreeze, as he had been collecting herbs. Beetlebreeze was wailing with agony when she heard it, as she was both deeply saddened and giving birth to Flowerkit with the help of Storkpaw, the Medicine Apprentice. Oh no, poor thing! Also, Storkpaw is a very unique name. 

As the moons passed, it was hard for her to stop grieving for her lost mate, and she felt as if StarClan were punishing them for her behavior, but she never stopped caring for his only kit, Flowerkit. She was then, when her kit was four moons old, starting to be visited by Waterwatcher as a StarClan cat in the nursery, and he explained that they weren't being punished, but that they were meant to be together and that it was simply his time. She's still alive to this day, and is visited by her mate often. That's sweet. Good ending. Except, her cause of death is labled as 'Kitting'. Did she have another litter wth a different cat, and die then?

Overall, Beetlebreeze is an interesting, and unique OC! She's quite balanced, and she gets a 8.8/10! Thanks for submitting!
