(I like reading this with this song playing in the background, so if you want to listen while you read it's right there :3)

I was living knowing my name, knowing my plans, I knew my place. The sun was so bright not even sunglasses could blind that light. The person I held to close, left with someone who I couldn't tell if they were a thief disguised as a knight, or vice versa.

And that's when the bears started to roam the place. They attacked me with all they got, and hit me so hard I was about to die. But then they saved me from the words the bears spoke, using their swords to slay the bears, the bears didn't leave that easily, but at least they left, but just because something leaves doesn't mean it can't return. So then I tried to live life normally, but I was paranoid about the bears, and concerned about my partner, so I went looking for them, I went down a really wide path, it made it really to see that there was a hut that looked like a heavily guarded fortress. I searched the fortresses hut, and behind a translucent window, I saw my partner, who was dressed in clothes of gold and being praised and having everybody swooning over them.

It doesn't make sense.

How could my friend do this to me?

My friend came out and wanted to talk to me, and talked they did. They were talking about how their life was horrible (even though they were complaining about was everything I saw through the window), and that they wanted to return back,

That's when I stormed out.

I stormed out of that hut,

Heartbroken,

So heartbroken I ran into a forest and got lost in the dark forest with tall trees, the trees grew taller and taller hiding the light I needed to survive,

I could not get out,

I kept seeing disturbing mirages, praying for it to stop, some days the trees would shrink and the mirages would go away, the next, the trees sprouted to a height you did not think existed, and mirages turning into virtual reality. Until one night I closed my eyes then opened them to find myself now in a desert.

It's better than the forest, but now I have to start a new story, a new home, a new life.

A/n:

So this story is kinda cringe but I came across it in my memos and since I don't have my main story done yet I decided to publish this in the meantime. I'm also really hoping to post more random stuff on here as well, I'm open to any suggestions or requests :D.

(Ps, this story has a lot of symbolism (if you couldn't already tell lol), and I'm curious as to what you think everything stands for, so if you have any theories let me know in the comments 'cuz I'd love to hear them :3)
