And before you fellow Shouto fangirls attack me for saying this....

I don't hate him.

I never hated him. I mean, sure I disliked him for being a piece of shit dad for Shou-Ur-Toe, but my hate was directed....elsewhere in his introduction.

Aaaaand I just set the bunch of grapes by the sink on fire. Go figure.

Like I said; I've seen dads do much worse in anime. Yukiteru Amano from Mirai Nikki had a such a shit dad that it almost justified the pussy he ended up being. And don't even get me started on Gon from HunterXHunter, Goku from DBZ-

Well in an alternate universe that must exist due to both the laws of Physics AND fanfiction, Gohan's 11 year old corpse because his father thought it would be fair to give his son's enemy-someone he himself struggled against-would LOVE to have a word with you.

Back to the dumpster fire.

From the first moment we see Endeavor, he comes out as an asshole. I mean, who wouldn't come out as one if he is surrounded by fire and looking like someone stepped on his lunch?

And he is looking at All-Might that way. My favourite pro and the number one superhero papa.

*COUGH BEHINDTONYSTARKANDBRUCEWAYNECOUGH*

Yeaaah.

My point, he's an asshole, but one who realized his mistakes and is trying to turn himself around. He visits Rei regularly and apologised to Shouto and his other kids.

With that said, that does not mean he isn't an asshole. Nobody is obligated to forgive him after what he has done, but the blatant disregard for his attempts at self-improvement frankly disgust me sometimes.

If you want to write Endevour as an asshole, write him as one. He is one. But do not say things like oh he shouldn't be redeemed or he should've died or any of that. If Hirokoshi wants him redeemed, then he will be no matter how much you say he should not be.

So yeah. I don't hate Endeavour, he is just a man following his own endeavors while ignoring the consequences of his actions, which finally got too big to ignore.
