One-Shot #19 (Ramin Karimloo)

I sat nearby while Ramin looked over the various motorcycles that were displayed in front of him.

He had recently gotten into them after seeing one at a car show we had attended a few weeks prior, and the sparkle in his eyes told me everything I needed to know.

He was obsessed

I was a little less enthusiastic about it, though.

I had never been fond of motorcycles, and I considered them to be very dangerous.

Ramin knew how I felt about them, but he still wanted to look, so I gave him permission to go to the nearby motorcycle shop.

He sat down on a large, white bike that was about two times bigger than he was.

His tall height, however, made it easy for him to get on and off the vehicle.

I nervously fussed with my fingers as I watched the smile grow on his face.

"This thing's a beauty!" Ramin called out to the store owner. "How fast can she go?"

"About 170," the man replied proudly. "But we could always crank it up if you want to go faster."

I tensed at his words and immediately stood up in protest.

Ramin noticed my reaction and slid off the bike, quickly stopping me before I could start ranting about how much I hated that idea.

"Excuse us a second," he muttered to the owner while taking my arm and dragging me a few feet away.

When we were out of hearing range, Ramin set his hands on my shoulders and said, "Avery, calm down! What is the matter with you?"

"Did you not hear what he proposed?" I asked in a heated tone. "If he makes it go any faster, you'll get in an accident and die! I can't have that happening on my watch."

"I'm not going to die," he shook his head. "You shouldn't be thinking of such things."

"Well, tough," I replied stubbornly. "I do not approve of this idea one bit."

Ramin sighed and rubbed his eyes tiredly.

"You're not making this easy, Avery."

"I'm only trying to save your life," I said with sarcasm. "That's no big deal at all."

He groaned loudly, then walked away from me to talk to the owner.

I crossed my arms and impatiently tapped my foot while I waited for him to return.

When he came back, he sucked in a deep breath and said, "I'm not getting the bike, Avery. You can stop worrying now."

"Thank God," I muttered, making a move to pass him, but he quickly grabbed my arm and held me back.

I looked over my shoulder and asked, "What is it now?"

Ramin's face was a lot closer than I expected it to be when I fully turned around to meet his eyes.

His expression was perfectly contorted in annoyance as he said, "You're a pain, you know that?"

I patted his cheek and smiled cheekily.

"I know, darling. But you're stuck with me, I'm afraid."

I knew he wasn't going to stay mad at me for long, and my theories were proven correct when he chuckled and shook his head.

"You are so impossible to stay mad at," he whispered through gritted teeth, pressing a soft kiss on my forehead. "It's not fair."

"We can't all have what we want," I smirked.

I turned to walk away again, but Ramin grabbed me by the waist and pinned me against his muscular chest.

"You denied me of my motorcycle," he said in a low voice. "I'm afraid you must be tickled as a punishment for your actions."

"No!" I squealed as he moved his hands to my ribs and began his tirade.

He didn't stop until I had tears streaming down my face from laughing so hard, but eventually, he let me go and asked, "Do you confess to your crimes, my Angel?"

"Yes," I wheezed, placing my hand on my diaphragm. "I do."

"Good."

He then kissed the top of my head and squeezed me into a bear hug, causing me to smile to myself.

I love this man.
