Gayday: We were gossiping about how Demikit doesn't know their sexuality yet. The whole Clan is talking about it!

Straightfur: What's wrong with that?

Fluidstream: There's nothing wrong with--

Gayday: There's nothing wrong with it. It's just that it's never happened before.

Arosparrow: I was talking to Pridestride and Flagswag and they said it's never happened even when they were kits . . .

Straightfur: So? You all are acting like it's the end of the world.

Fluidstream: We are n--

Gayday: No, that's how we act every time you say you're not gay.

Fluidstream: cAn I gEt A wOrD iN?!?

*everyone goes silent as Fluidstream clears his throat*

Fluidstream: As I was GOING to say, *casts a pointed look at Gayday, who smiles sheepishly* there is nothing wrong with Demikit being born without being sure of their sexuality. It's just that we are concerned for--it is them today, right?

Straightfur: I believe so.

Fluidstream: *nods* It's just that we are concerned for them. As Arosparrow said, not even the elders have seen this before, so we were discussing how we could help in any way we can.

Straightfur: I would start by not forcing a sexuality on them. *turns around, clearing his throat*

Pansand and Gayday: *slowly back away, each putting the lid back on their bottles of Gayey String*

Straightfur: *turns back to Fluidstream and Arosparrow* Let them decide for themself and see if they even ask for help. Besides, they're still only a kit. They have time.

Arosparrow: *smiles* Well said, Straightfur.

Fluidstream: *nods in agreement* Yes, very well--

*is interrupted by a tiny horde of giggling kits rushing into them*

Fluidstream: CaN i NoT sAy AnYtHiNg ToDaY?!

Queerdeer: *comes up behind them and scoops up the three up with his tail* I thought we told you three that you aren't allowed outside the nursery yet! *looks up at everyone* Now apologize to everyone for interrupting their conversation!

Akoikit, Demikit, and Graykit: We're sorry . . .

Arosparrow: Awe, it's okay! *crouches down so he's eye-level with the kits* Hello, little ones! I'm Arosparrow.

Akoikit, Demikit, and Graykit: Hi, Arosparrow!

Arosparrow: *smiles* You should probably do what Queerdeer says, now. But it was lovely meeting you! You're all so cute!~

Queerdeer: *guides his kits with his tail back to the nursery, a chorus of good-byes leaving with them*

Pansand: *chuckles* Looks like they're starting to become a handful already.

Straightfur: *smiles as he watches them disappear back into the nursery* I guess so.
