Aboard the Waverider, Rip turns to face the team, debriefing them on their next mission," Alright, our last set of friends has just been detected in the year 2019." Upon hearing that, Lobo interrupts Rip," Now now hold up. Yer said 2019, but this book was first published in 2019, ar' ya messin' with th' Main Man?"

" Not our 2019, the 2019 in an alternate timeline." Rip explains.

" I don't get it, how is that 2019 different from ours?" Power Girl questions, prompting Gideon to answer," In that 2019, Gotham City is much more futuristic and is under the protection of a new Batman. In other words, flying cars and talking robots do exist in that timeline."

Upon hearing that, Green Lantern snarkily comments out," Great. Way to be decades late to that party."

Leina then asks Supergirl," So what do you think? Ready to go and bring back everyone once and for all." Supergirl nods, determination fills up within her eyes as she answers," Yes. Let's do this."

" Activating Time Jump in 3...2...1..."

Gotham, futuristic 2019

Gliding through the arrays of buildings, Terry Mcginnis, also known as Batman Beyond surveys the streets below, speaking through his comn," So far no sign of criminal activities Bruce."

Batman Beyond listens as the a gruff elderly voice spoke through the comb," Alright. I need you to head back to Wayne Manor now."" Got it."

Just as Batman Beyond glides through the air, all of a sudden, a bright flash of light shines through the air, causing Batman Beyond to freeze in his tracks.

" What the?" Batman Beyond watches as a massive ship lowers itself down, settling down in the outskirts of the street.

" Bruce, are you seeing this?"" I see it Terry."" Shall I go check it out?"" Go. But I suggest you to be cautious. You don't know what is in there." Bruce answers.

" Got it." Batman Beyond glides down from the air, closing in onto the ship.

Down below, crowds of onlookers surrounds the area as Rip steps out of the hangar, saying," Alright. We're here."

Both Green Lantern and Power Girl surveys the entire area, their eyes widens in a mix of shock and amazement." Geez, are you really sure we're in 2019? This looks too futuristic." Green Lantern remarks.

" Yeah. I can't get my mind off of this." Leina agrees.

Just then, Supergirl notices a black suited figure gliding down and she widens her eyes in recognition," Batman?"

The figure lands in front of her, saying," That's right. I'm Batman."

Leina then steps up commenting on Batman Beyond's suit," Incredible. Did you upgrade your suit?"" Uh no." Batman Beyond answers, a look of confusion in his face.

Power Girl analyzes Batman Beyond from head to toe, her eyes widens as she questions the young man," Hold on. You're not Bruce are you?"

" No...but if you want to see him, I can bring you to him." Batman Beyond offers, causing Supergirl to nod," Of course. Please, lead the way."

Wayne Manor

As an elderly Bruce Wayne watches the entire scene unfold on the monitors, just then he senses a presence behind him, causing him to question out," Who's there? Show yourself!"

" Well, I'm impressed Bruce," Bruce watches as two figures steps out of the shadow. Reverse Flash places a hand on Felix Faust's shoulders, continuing his sentence," Even in your age, you're still trying to protect a city that is destined to fall."

" Faust? Thawne? How is that possible?" Bruce exclaims out, horrified at the sight of the two.

Felix steps forward, answering the old man's exclamation," Don't look so shock Bruce. I'm not the same Felix that Zatanna and Constantine defeated years ago. All I need is a little help from my friend to get what I exactly need."

" And that is?" Felix smirks before thrusting his hand out, sending a powerful blast of magic right onto Bruce." Your soul!" Reverse Flash smirks, watching as Felix began draining Bruce's soul from his body.

Later

" Alright, here we are." Batman Beyond glides down the top of the Batcave, with Rip, Lobo, Supergirl, Power Girl, Leina and Green Lantern following suit.

Just as the group lands at the bottom of the Batcave, what they saw causes their eyes to widen in horror.

" No..." Rushing forward, Batman Beyond removes his cowl, rushing towards Bruce's side.

As he lifts him up, Lobo asks him," Eh, what happened ta him?"" He's dead." Batman Beyond whispers, causing everyone's eyes to widen.

Batman Beyond sets Bruce down, explaining," But there's no visible marks or wounds on him so he couldn't possibly be murdered by a weapon. It could only mean someone must have killed him differently."

" Differently? You mean soul stealing?" Leina pipes, causing Batman Beyond to nod.

" But who could have done it? Are any of the magic users still alive today?" Green Lantern questions. Batman Beyond answers," I don't know, but I'm gonna find out right now."

As the group began heading out, Power Girl notices something on the floor.

Power Girl then comments out," Hey wait a minute."

The group looks back as Power Girl kneels onto the floor, sweeping the dust right into her gloved hand." What is it?" Power Girl steps forward, showing the dust to her friends and she explains," I found this on the floor."

Batman Beyond picks it up, swiping his fingers on the dust as he scans the dust, when it dawns on him, Batman Beyond's eyes widens in horror," No...it can't be."" What is it?" Leina asks.

Batman Beyond didn't answer, prompting Green Lantern to ask," Hey, you okay?"

Batman Beyond narrows his eyes, as he answers," I can sense that kind of magic from a mile away. Felix Faust."

Upon hearing that name, Power Girl exclaims, "Felix Faust? But is he even alive in this timeline."" No. And this is what concerns me." Batman Beyond answers.

Leina then adds," Wait, so that Vandal Savage we faced in Lucifer's universe, then that Ocean Master guy at Flashpoint, Supergirl mentioned a water lady in Bombshells. Could this guy be one of those recruited by Thawne?"

" Possibly." Rip nods.

Faust Mansion

Deep inside the old and abandoned Faust mansion, Reverse Flash watches quietly as Faust mutters his spell quietly, his hands wavering around as he channel's the soul into a small spherical orb.

" It is done." Felix proudly declares out as he hands the orb over to Reverse Flash.

Reverse Flash then holds up the treasures he had acquired. The Thanangarian serum from Savage. The Atlantian scrolls from Ocean Master. The Zembesi runes from Kuasa and now the soul orb from Felix Faust.

Felix then questions," We have already sent the Justice League through different moments of time, what do you even want with them anyway?"" My true goal. To not only get rid of the Justice League but kill my enemies as well."

Felix adds," Then what about that Batman prodigy? And those time travelling members of the Justice League?" Reverse Flash turns around and he answers," We will deal with them. Gather everything you need. We are going to take them down before they cause any more damage than they already have."

With that, Reverse Flash disappears in a yellow and red streak.

Outside

Right outside of the old Wayne Manor, Leina then asks," Alright. So we know this Felix Faust is responsible for this. But the real question is where are we going to find him?"

" Don't bother." Upon hearing a familar voice, everyone turns around, their eyes widens in horror.

Standing in front of them stood Felix Faust and Reverse Flash.

" Thawne. Faust. Man, that's convenient." Green Lantern sarcastically comments as he clenches his fist, activating his ring.

However, before Green Lantern could do anything, Reverse Flash rushes forward, striking into him.

" Hal!" Before Power Girl and Leina could react, Felix Faust tosses several pallets onto the floor.

As the two blonde girls looks down, to their horror, several large roots began erecting from the ground, the tendrils wrapping itself tightly around their bodies.

" AAAHHHHHH!!!" Leina screams out as she swings her sword down, cutting into the tendrils.

Power Girl throws a punch, striking at a tendril before swerving her body backwards, dodging a swing from another.

While Power Girl and Leina are locked in battle with the tendrils, Felix faces Batman Beyond, saying to with a hint of disdain," So you are the prodigy of the great Batman?"

" Yeah, and I'm safe to assume that that's his soul in that orb right?" Batman Beyond questions, prompting Felix to compliment," Yes. Very observant. I see Batman has picked his prodigy well."

" Same could not be said about you Faust." Batman Beyond states, throwing several batarangs at him.

Felix swings his hand out, conjuring a magical sphere in front of him, shielding him from the projectiles.

Felix then thrusts his hand out, sending a hail of magic spheres across, forcing Batman Beyond to run.

Batman Beyond leaps up into the air, spreading his wing glider as he glides across the air, dodging the hail of projectiles.

Meanwhile, Supergirl, Green Lantern and Lobo swings their fists wildly, with Reverse Flash swiping his body left to right, effortlessly dodging their blows.

Reverse Flash thrusts his fist upwards, striking Supergirl in the gut before dashing forward, grabbing Lobo by the vest.

Before Lobo could react, Reverse Flash spun around before throwing him across the air, sending him crashing back first into Supergirl.

Green Lantern points his ring downwards, sending a giant fist construct down onto Reverse Flash, only for the Yellow Speedster to swerve to the side, dodging the attack.

Reverse Flash then picks up a nearby brick before running up on the construct, slamming his weapon hard into Green Lantern's face.

However, right at that moment, Lobo throws his chains out, causing it to wrap around Reverse Flash's body tightly.

" Huh?"" Goin' down bastich!" Lobo thrusts his arm out, sending Reverse Flash flying in the air.

Reverse Flash crashes body first into the ground, causing the concrete floor under him to crack under the impact. At that moment, Supergirl picks him up by the suit before throwing a punch, sending him flying.

Supergirl then rushes forward, throwing two separate punches across his torso before slamming him hard into a car.

The sheer impact of the blows immediately causes Reverse Flash to drop onto the ground.

At the same time, Felix thrusts his hand out, sending a wave of magic flying, only for Batman Beyond to jump up, dodging the projectile.

Batman Beyond then glides down before throwing his leg out, striking Felix hard in the chin. As the sorcerer wipes the blood away with his hand, he reaches out from the back, brandishing a blade before lunging forward.

Batman Beyond raises up his arms, using the metallic armor plating around his body to shield himself from the swings.

Batman Beyond thrusts his leg out, a kick simply knocks right into Felix's hand, causing him to drop the knife. As Felix stumbles back, grasping his hand in agony, Batman Beyond took his brief moment of distraction to his advantage, swiping down and snatching the orb right out of Felix's hand.

" NO!!!" Felix screams out, his arms reaching out in an attempt to retrieve his orb only for Batman Beyond move back, stepping out of his reach." And this..." Batman Beyond rushes forward, raising up his fist as he screams out," Is for Bruce!"

Felix shuts his eyes as he felt several hard blows striking him across his body, sending him crashing sideways onto the floor.

As the sorcerer attempts to rise, Batman Beyond slams his foot down onto him, pinning him on the ground with the sheer weight of his leg and he orders," Stay down if you know what's good for you."

Batman Beyond looks up as Power Girl and Leina rushes towards him, with the Kryptonian saying," Looks like you've bagged him."" Yeah. And I got Bruce as well." Batman Beyond smiles as he lifts up the orb.

Leina, Batman Beyond and Power Girl looks as Supergirl orders Reverse Flash," Surrender Thawne. Your last henchman is down and we are taking our friends back! You have lost."" Lost?" Upon hearing Supergirl's words, Reverse Flash breaks down in a fit of hysterical laughter, causing everyone to look at him in shock.

" Oh Supergirl, Supergirl, Supergirl. While it is true that my plan is to trap all of you in the different timelines, those guys I've recruited are nothing more than a liability."" What do you mean?"" They just couldn't see the bigger picture. Another plan behind this master plan. You see, I didn't just use that spell to send you all back through time, I used it to gather all the items I need across the different timestreams. All to kill the only obstacle standing in the way of my destiny."

" Wait. So who's that obstacle?" Power Girl questions, prompting Reverse Flash to answer," Oh I think you know. Hard for it to believe but...I believe we all have the same common enemy we want to kill. And..."

Before anyone could react, Reverse Flash suddenly disappears in a flash of yellow and red, his voice trailing behind him," Like hell I'm gonna let you get in my way."" Crap! That Bastich is gone." Lobo groans.

" Leave him, we better get to the Faust Mansion, assuming it still exists in this future and get our friends out." Rip instructs, and everyone began heading towards the direction of the Faust mansion, leaving Batman Beyond dragging the unconscious Felix with him.

Soon, Constantine, Dr. Light, Elina, Melpha, Claudette, Black Lightning, Aquaman, Cyborg and Batwoman steps out of the dungeon, with Constantine whipping out a cigarette and a lighter, lighting it up as he spoke," Couldn't be expecting you anytime sooner eh Supergirl."

" Oh can't you at least be grateful that we're even here at all." Supergirl rolls her eyes, groaning with a hint of sarcasm.

Batman Beyond steps forward and he said," Okay, thanks to Rip, Bruce is back on his feet and everything is back to normal." Batman Beyond notices the group of people behind her and he says," So these are the people you were looking for huh?"

" Yup." Supergirl walks forward, stopping as Batman Beyond smiles," You know Supergirl, you really helped me today. Cause if Felix really had destroy Bruce's soul, I...don't want to think what is going to happen to New Gotham. To me."

" Don't worry Terry. The deed is done, Bruce is okay and your future is safe." Supergirl smiles back.

Batman Beyond watches as Supergirl ushers the group of heroes up into the Waverider, saying," You know, the future isn't so bad. Maybe you can come back and visit one day."

" Anytime." Supergirl waves Batman Beyond goodbye as the Waverider takes off into the air, flying up into the dark sky.

Metropolis, present

The Waverider lands right at the outskirts of the city, the shuttle slowly slides open as Rip, Supergirl, Leina, Power Girl, Lobo and Green Lantern floods out of the ship. The six of them watches as the last few members of the Justice League streams out of the ship, stepping foot back into the present.

Green Lantern then said," Great. With the last of our friends now here, ready to pay our little cyborg friend a visit?"

Lobo cracks his knuckles, growling in fury," Rrr...time to crack that supes ass once and for all!"" Can't say I don't feel the same way." Power Girl agrees with a smirk.

" Don't forget us!"

Everyone turns around, causing Supergirl to exclaim out," Harley? What are you doing here?"" What does it look like? We're here to join in this ass kicking!" Harley answers.

Behind her, Poison Ivy continues," Ever since all of you disappeared, that Cyborg Superman has been plundering both humans and my plants. I mean I'm fine with the human plunder but I definitely don't want them to turn the city's garden into a generator."

" So after Harley and Ivy along with their new prodigy defeated Sionis, they called me up and I just agree to join in." Catwoman adds." In fact..."

Catwoman turns around and at that exact moment, Clayface and several members of the Joker gang steps out, flanking her.

" These guys here have agreed to help us."

Supergirl smiles, happy to see more people willing to help take her city back.

Just then, a flash of light emits from the back, causing Supergirl to turn, watching as Booster Gold steps out, announcing to her," Hey guys, just got these guys back."

Supergirl watches as The Wonder Twins, Apache Chief, Black Vulcan, Mr. Terrific, Firestorm, Batgirl, Wonder Girl, Superboy, Aqualad, Naneal and Raven stepping out of the portal. But what shocked Supergirl the most is the last person stepping out.

" You." Kuasa looks at Supergirl, simply glaring at her just as Booster Gold stood protectively in front of her, stopping the Kryptonian," Hey whoa whoa! Relax. She's on our side now."

" On our side? I find that hard to believe." Supergirl shakes her head, prompting Kuasa to spit," Pah! I'm not aligned with that backstabbing speedster anymore!"

Upon hearing her words, Rip asks her," Back stabbing? What do you mean?"

" While I was locked up in the Bombshell's prison, Thawne appeared right in front of me, demanding I give him the locket with the Waller of that timeline took. And when he got it, he planted bombs all over the place and left, attempting to kill me. If Booster Gold hadn't just so happen to drop in, I would be dead by now."

" Yeah," Booster Gold sheepishly smiles," It's not everyday I save someone by accident."" So," Kuasa steps forward, declaring out," I may not have my amulet anymore but I'm willing to fight alongside you if it means taking both Thawne and that cyborg down."

With everyone now assembled, Supergirl turns around, staring up at the top of LexCorp.

This time, Cyborg Superman is going down.
