French class, it was boring as hell, I barely even paid attention to my teacher, Mrs. Fran. All we usually did was partner up and say bonjour, if we we're lucky, she might even teach us a new saying. It seems exciting, 'Get taught a new language! It's fun!' But, nope, it's pretty boring.
   Kids didn't like me all that much, didn't know why, really didn't care, why would I? Maybe it was because I'm the school asshole? I mean, I wasn't a bully, no one like that, if anything I usually got bullied. Got called the usual names, fat, ugly, stupid. Got picked last for any sport, people threw paper balls at me, made front of for having no friends. But, that's okay, I'm used to it anyways.
    "Comic, your the last one for the presentation. Did you do it?" My anxiety Wells up inside of me, I can't breath, and I stammer on most of my words. I hate presenting, I always do so bad. This presentation was about what we usually did outside of school. So, anxiety in my throat, sweaty palms, and a panic attack, I get up to the front of the class.
    "W-w-what I usually d-do o-outside of school i-is...u-um...Is, well, play video g-games, e-explore the forest nextdoor my house, a-and...shoot at the g-gun r-range." I stopped, my heart pounding, and sat back down in my seat in the back of the French class. I know it's not as detailed as my teacher wanted it to be, but it's all I could come up on the spot.
     I can finally breath again, and start getting back to being calm. I fucking hated that, that was a nightmare, a fucking nightmare.
     3 hours later, I'm walking back home, it's been a pretty long day for me. My eyes travel up and down the streets, trees, house, and sky as I walk. Sighing, I hear someone screaming my name behind me, not really recognizing the voice.
   "Comic! Comic! Comic!"
   "Y-yes?" I replied to the yelling girl.
    "Hi! I'm River!"
     As I scanned this girl over, I saw she had a blue sweater, that was obviously big on her, blonde hair, and brown eyes, she was gorgeous.
     "O-oh, hello.." I say nervously.
     "Aw, don't be nervous around me. I won't bite."
       I nod my head, feeling a little better, but still nervous. It started to get quiet, I didn't have anything to say.
      "Well, I'll see you tomorrow?"
      I nod my head again, and she walks away waving goodbye.
      Finally getting to my house, I rethink the whole situation that happened five minutes ago. I...May I actually get a friend? Or is this just some prank? Well, whatever it is, I'm going to keep my guard up, just in case.
     "Hey, mom, I'm home." I yell into the empty living room.
     "Hey honey! How was your day at school today?" She asks, walking into the living room, I expect she came from her bedroom.
    "Nothing new really, I...think I may have made a friend today." I have a very close relationship with my mother, we tell each other almost everything.
    "Thats great honey!" She said with a big smile, and came over to hug me tightly.
    "Well, I'm going to go to my room and lay down, it's been a long and exhausting day." She nods her head, and steps into the kitchen to make dinner.
    I walk into my room, throw my backpack and binder into the corner, and flop onto my bed. Any homework? No...I don't think.
     The backdoor opens, and a scratching sound enters the house, I recognize them. It's my dog, Louie. He's a pug, a great dog, we usually sleep and explore together, he's very well trained, I tried my best. He runs into my room, jumping on me, and licking my face non-stop.
     "Hey, calm down boy! I love you too!" I laugh and pat his head. He starts to sit quietly on my bed, raising his paw up and down, I know what that meant.
     I'm pretty tired, so it was hard to walk out of the house and enter my backyard. Louie jumps up and down, excited we're about to go exploring again. I suppose it's been quite a while since we have went exploring.
    We enter the forest, we go through some bushes, and dodge many trees.
                 An hour later
     Deep in the forest, I feel a little frightened. I've ever been this deep before, but I'm also feeling excited, excited about what lies here.
      I stumble upon a beautiful tree, my eyes sparkle and look the tree and down.
    "Wow...It's so beautiful." I walk up to the tree and sit below the glorious dark green leaves. Louis hops in my lap, and starts to get comfortable. I know I would Ave to leave soon, but there's nothing wrong with staying here for a little bit longer.
                  A While Later
    At the time I arrive at the house, it's dark, and dinner is already done. I walk inside, and my mom greets me with a happy smile. I sit down to eat what my mom says is cabbage soup, and enjoy it. I thank her, put my dish into the sink, and walk to my room for some sleep.
