"hyung, do you want seafood flavor or beef flavor?" Jeno asks, examining the two cup noodles he was currently holding whilst his boyfriend was in charge of the small shopping basket.

"I don't know. You pick." Jaemin shrugs with his usual tone of voice. Nodding, Jeno hums to himself and chooses both flavors anyway, if Jaemin doesn't like the other, then there's a second choice for him.

Besides, Jeno's not a picky eater anyway, so it'll be easy for the vampire boy to ask for him to swap their food.

Checking their items, Jeno smiles in satisfaction and links his arm with Jaemin's own before heading towards the cashier to check out.

"Hi, Soobinie!" He greets the cashier who's currently assigned on night duty.

Soobin looks up from arranging the packs of skittles near the cash register and smiles, "Jeno! It's been a while, huh?" He greets back before his eyes lands on to the unfamiliar boy beside Jeno.

"Oh? Who's this with you tonight?" He asks with a friendly smile to whoever that guy is to Jeno, scanning him up and down as if he's a security guard.

Smiling widely, Jeno glances at his boyfriend and hums. "This is my soulmate, Na Jaemin. He's the guy I talked about before," he introduces.

"Ohh~ is he the guy that owns the mark on your eye?" Soobin asks with a light chuckle, still finding it a bit silly that Jeno's soulmate mark is unfortunately on his left eye.

"Well duh, of course!" Jeno giggles as he takes the basket from Jaemin's hold and takes out the items for Soobin to quickly check out.

Nodding, Soobin takes a few glances at Jaemin and raises a brow. "How about you, Jaemin? Where's Jeno's soulmate mark on you?" He asks, trying to find the said mark on Jaemin's exposed areas.

Jaemin doesn't say anything but takes Jeno's hand and leads it to place it gently on his chest where his heart is.

"Here." He said curtly while Jeno was blushing madly by the sudden action.

It might be small or can be nothing for others, but to him, having a cold-hearted vampire boyfriend doing even the littlest of things especially if it's a sign of affection to him, is more than enough.

Cooing silently, Soobin widens his smile as he finishes checking their items out before telling them their total.

Jeno makes a move to grab his wallet but gets stopped when Jaemin held his hand. He raises a brow at his boyfriend who was gazing back to Soobin's eyes silently.

He watches them staring at each other, not muttering out a single word until Soobin's smile comes back on his face as Jaemin gave him a nod.

"I'll pay for it, Jeno. But I'll do it tomorrow, it's getting late anyway and Bongsik is probably waiting for us." Jaemin said while taking the shopping bag off the counter.

Before Jeno could protest and ask more questions, his boyfriend immediately took his hand and walks them out the store, heading on their way home.

"How long have you known Soobin?" Jaemin suddenly asks while bringing the younger boy closer to his side when Jeno almost went over the sidewalk.

Oblivious, Jeno happily answers, "maybe a few days before we met." He then looks up at his boyfriend and tilts his head, "why, Jaemin hyung?"

Shrugging, Jaemin hums in content as they walk in the apartment building. "Makes sense why you didn't know he's a ghost fairy."

"Huh?!"

"You can't see it, Jeno-yah because of your pure human eyes. But for us supernatural creatures, we see everything totally different and more open." Jaemin said as they arrived at the apartment.

Jeno was getting worried, Bongsik flicks her eyes towards him as they both stood at the entrance to the kitchen, following her owner's gaze that was fixed on his vampire boyfriend at the couch.

"What happened now?" She asks flatly, sounding bored with their dynamic especially since it's mostly because of Jaemin's cold and strict attitude.

Jeno was about to speak up his concerns but pauses and turns to the sink to quickly turn it on, he walks back and glances at his boyfriend to see if he was watching them. Nope.

"Jaemin hyung didn't eat."

"Well of course he didn't, he's a vampire. Vampires can be picky eaters and drinkers, haven't you heard of Yangyang's rambling about his personal taste of blood? It's getting annoying." Bongsik said.

Pursing his lips, Jeno lets out a sigh. "Yeah but– I don't know, he let me pick the flavors of our cup noodles earlier but still didn't eat any of them."

"Yeah, glad he didn't because the seafood flavored one was really yummy." His cat said while licking her paws clean.

"Bongsik!" Jeno scolds and then turns to pout his lips, "I'm just worried, Jaemin hyung hasn't spoken about the blood drinking deal nor has drank from me since the first incident."

"Well, aren't you relieved? You're lucky your vampire boyfriend isn't like Hendery who's constantly blood thirsty." Bongsik said rolling her doe eyes.

Huffing, Jeno shook his head and crosses his arms. "Well sort of, but the point is that I can see how Jaemin hyung has been trying to avoid drinking from me, although it might be a good thing for others to hear, but to me it's not."

Raising a brow, Bongsik jumps on the kitchen counter and sits on it to properly face her human owner that seems to be down over the fact that his boyfriend could literally be saving him.

"And why's that?"

Sighing, he glances at his boyfriend and frowns. "I see him getting weaker day by day, I assume he's been drinking from weak animal blood or whatever blood stacks his friends have for them to last."

"Animal blood?!" Bongsik shrieks when she hears a certain part and turns to look at herself from the shiny plate Jeno had washes earlier.

"Oh deary me, I'm too old to die! I better get a blood test to make sure I taste bad for them." She frowns as Jeno was rolling his eyes behind her.

"Don't pretend to be scared, you're a magical cat. Besides that, Jaemin hyung wouldn't hurt our baby."

"I don't want him to be my owner nor my father, you're my only owner and papa. He can get stabbed with a wooden stake if that ever happens." She hisses at the thought.

It's not like she completely hates Jaemin, she just finds it amusing to annoy him and have this 'feud' going on between them.

It's different with Mark Lee though, that guy is just really annoying for Bongsik and thus why they have this actual feud going on.

Besides, winner takes it all. And by 'all', we mean Jeno lee.

She's just slightly jealous, alright?

Clicking his tongue, Jeno picks her up in his arms and caresses her fur to make her calm down. "What do I do, Bongsikie?" He asks about the main topic.

Getting easily distracted by her owner's gentle touch and loving aura– basically getting spoiled by him, Bongsik doesn't continue on talking badly about Jaemin and instead purrs.

"Just go up to him and talk about it, you're boyfriends now and his soft spot for you is becoming more obvious these days." She said.

Blushing, Jeno doesn't say anything else and turns to Jaemin who was about to shut off the television, indicating he's going to call for Jeno soon.

"My dear soulmate, you have a soft spot for me? :0"

"Pup, why did you block my sense of hearing?"
