The duo started to repair the machine, it took literally like a week full without sleeping at all. Well, the took shifts on repairing it but, that kind of counts am i right?

Of course, while doing so they sometimes talk and have coffee together. Marinette would go undercover to buy food and sometimes make cookies and croissants. Chat would whisper 'I have to marry her', everytime Marinette do things that made him happy; such as baking, or flexing (Gotta show dem guns).

They look happy, its like to kids being reunited after a day of not seeing eachother. Finally, they finished the machine and already test it out with small objects and now, guess who's going to be the test subject?

Sike! There's no more test subject! Adrien is going to test it out, he puts on the helmet with tubes and wires and pushed the button to repair the damage done; yeah the damage is being Chat noir.

He shut his eyes tight, letting the machine do it's thing while memories of thw past starts to get to him.

Adrien puts a hat with tubes and pipes connected to the machine. He then, adjust the type of animal he wants and makes it into a cat.

"Marinette, will you please" Adrien warmly smiled to her. With full doubt she pushed the button and hope that it will work out well.

But she was wrong the invention started to go boom and blast, as a thick smoke filled the room. There were also lights and flashing that causes everyone to duck down and cover their eyes in fear.

"BOOM!!!" The machine blew, smoke filled the whole gym. "What..what happened?" Adrien whispered. He looks to his hand and saw clawed hands with black leathers gloves. He touched his head, realizing the machine worked but it's broken critically.

Then, he felt his vision starts to spin around, Feeling nauseous, he scratched the floor in pain while growling quietly. "Argh.." He groans, he looks around that a lot of people fainted.

He made a mistake, a huge one. With shame he runs out of the gym, trying to escape the city. He then touched a new building on its grand opening, it started to turn into a rusty black and starts to crumble.

The people on the grand opening gasped from seeing what Chat did, some screamed, and runs away to safety.

He backs away in fear and continue to run towards the nearby city forest and decided to hide there for the rest of his pathetic life
