Once they had figured out everything to the tiniest details, they set off on their different tasks.
That majority of the plan they decided on was thought of by Nat since the others lacked the necessary levelheadedness.

As they left the apartment, Caroline and invisible Serena and Jack headed to the park while Nat was following the situation from a safe distance.
It was imperative that the kidnappers didn't notice anything unusual if they were watching the place.
As Caroline was walking around the place Rina had disappeared from, a girl of approximately Rina's age approached her.
From what Rina told her, Serena assumed it was one of Rina's friends.

"What is one of those obnoxious girls who made Rina's life a living hell, doing here?" Serena thought.
At first, she assumed that it was just a coincidence, but then she remembered what the girl who told them about Rina's kidnapping said and everything started clicking in her mind.
The girls who claimed to be her friends were actually the ones who set her up to be kidnapped.

Serena was outraged and could barely stop herself from jumping on the girl and knocking the living daylights out of her.
What helped her stay calm was the fact that her father's calming presence was nearby.
Although she barely knew the guy, she still felt safer and calmer with him by her side.
She didn't want that to be true, but there was nothing she could do about that.
There was a strange connection of familiarity and kinship that she couldn't fight against, she didn't want to fight it.

The girl approached Caroline with the confidence of the one who was in charge or was at least backed up by the people in charge.
"Caroline, you prove that you are as naive as your daughter by coming here." The girl said laughing out loud.
"My friend and I have been undercover in this school for ages, so we had to try to figure out who was the right girl.
You see, we only knew the girl's age, so we had to go through all the options at school.

We had no idea how the invisibility worked, so we did our best to make her angry, to hurt her feelings, hoping that she would lose control and turn invisible in front of us.
I guess it did work eventually because recently we have seen her running into the girl's bathroom half visible.
Of course, after that, we kept following her as much as we could and that is how we saw you carelessly turning visible thinking that you two were alone.
That was when we knew we had to lure you in. One invisible person is great but two is a treasure trove." She said with a glint in her eyes.

While the girl was gloating, Serena could feel that even her father had troubles controlling his temper having heard how cruel they were to Rina just in the off chance that she was the one they needed.
Soon enough they could all hear two men approaching.
"That's enough! Haven't we taught you never to reveal more than you have to? That's what makes a good spy." The older looking man said.

"All you need to know Mrs. Caroline is that we have your daughter. If you ever want to see her again, you will come with us." The man went on to say.
"How do I know you really have my daughter?" Caroline asked following Nat's careful instructions about dealing with kidnappers.
"The phone." The dark-haired man said to the younger, blond one.
In a matter of seconds, a smartphone was in his hands, and he was making a video call.
Soon enough, Caroline could see Rina gagged and scared before the call was cut short.

She couldn't help but gasp in shock although she was strictly warned by Nat not to show any emotion because they could use that against her.
However, she recovered soon enough knowing that she wouldn't be of any help to anyone if she became an emotional mess.

"Follow me." The man said and luckily for them started moving on foot.
They were surprised by that having heard that Rina was put in the back of a car but Caroline did as she was told.
Serena and Jack followed closely behind them, but not too close so that no one could hear if their walking made any noise.
Nat on his part stayed far from them using the spying equipment he had bought before they reached the park, with the money Rina gave Serena.

It was high tech equipment since Rina didn't really have the feeling of how much money is enough.
Serena was actually planning on telling her sister it was too much money and that she should be more careful with how she spent the money, but Rina got kidnapped before Serena had the chance to say anything.

As they were walking down the street, Caroline decided it was about time to try to find out more about what the kidnappers knew.
"So how did you find me? Were you the one who set off the bomb?" Caroline asked.
The older guy seemed to forget what he told the girl just moments before and immediately dove into the story.

"Well at first we heard some rumors that your company was doing some type of unethical research, but we had no idea what it was all about.
That was when they decided we needed an undercover agent, me.
You probably haven't noticed me because I was just an ordinary janitor, and I was always good at blending in with the shadows.
Anyway, I managed to gather some intel about the research and the word invisible was enough for us to know that they were on to something big.
I was trying to find a way into the restricted area, but before I got the chance to use my stolen credentials, the building blew up on me. Luckily I was nowhere near it when it blew up.

What we did manage to get from the surveillance across the street was that two people made it out alive.
It took me more time than I would like to admit, to track you two down, but when I did you were already obviously pregnant.
Before I had the chance to gather the team to catch you and interrogate you, you two disappeared on me.

The next time I tracked you down you were no longer pregnant and all alone, but you still managed to slip through my fingers.
After that, I spent every waking hour trying to track you down but I failed.
Only some years ago did it occur to me to try to track down your daughter since I learned that you might have been one of their experiments.
So we put our best agents on it, my nieces, and they did their best to activate the girl's invisibility if she had any.
We had nothing to lose since I was exploring other avenues as well.
When girls reported their success, I knew that it was only a matter of time before you came to see your precious little daughter.
I must say it took you more time than I expected." The guy said.

As he finished his tale, they reached a huge white van.
He opened the back door of the van and gestured for her to get in when she seemed to hesitate he said: "Get in!"
What she was actually doing was buying time for Serena and Jack to get into the van.
After he said that, she got in, and she could feel Serena's gentle touch on her arm letting her know everything was okay.

When Caroline settled down in what looked like an empty back of the van, the guys sat in the front seat and started driving in an unknown direction.
Although Caroline was nervous, she was happy that she was finally able to do something for her daughters.
