Chapter 69 - Amnesia
Jang Mi and the other girls made their way down the steps. She didn't mind the loud music that pumped loudly through out the club. In fact, her body was already dancing to the beat of the song. The girls made their way onto the dance floor, pushing pass crowds without a care. They were dancing in their own circle.
Jang Mi looked up to see a man standing on stage next to the DJ booth. He was shouting something but because of the loud music, Jang Mi couldn't hear. Then he rang the huge bell that stood next to the DJ's booth. Everyone cheered happily and so did Jang Mi. Even if she didn't know why she was cheering.
"Drinks are on him!" Hyorin yelled into Jang Mi's ears.
Jang Mi clapped happily. "Thank you rich person!" She yelled.
Choi Seung-Hyun and the other men walked down the steps seeing the sea of bodies moving endlessly to the music. As soon as the group made it to ground level, they all dispersed into the crowed. Even Ji Soo, who was just dancing along to the music. Choi Seung-Hyun made his way to the bar and sat on a stool. He watched the crowed that danced like there was no tomorrow. In some way, Choi Seung-Hyun found it beautiful. Unknown people in one room. Celebrating multiple things all together. With strangers you didn't know. Sure, the club life wasn't the style Choi Seung-Hyun liked, but he couldn't just ignore the fact that some people live this life style. A different lifestyle from his, didn't mean it was a bad thing.
"Here sir." Choi Seung-Hyun turned around in his barstool to see a shot glass in front of him. "Don't worry. We were told to serve you and your entourage all night. You guys are lucky, some chaebol rang the bell."
It didn't take him another second gulping down the glass, burning down his throat. As soon as the glass hit back down on the bar, it was refilled. The faster he drank, the faster they refilled his cup. It didn't take him long before feeling the intake.
....
12 Hours Later
Jang Mi shot up. Instantly feeling the cool air against her clothe-less body. She only had a bra and panty on. She picked up the silk sheets to cover her body as she looked around. Her head slowly, but surely looked to her side, where she knew someone else was sleeping, she just didn't want it to be anyone else but her husband. Jang Mi let out a sigh of relief upon seeing his bare back. She knew she would never cheat on him. Never. She just, couldn't remember a thing. She wasn't even at Choi Seung-Hyun's house at the moment, so she didn't know how she was with her husband instead of the girls. The last thing she remembered was the ringing of the bell. She didn't have a hangover either, but her eyes felt swollen. She felt like she cried all night.
Jang Mi looked around the room. They were in someone else's home. It looked like a hotel but it wasn't a hotel, it was someone's home. She could see the clothes that were scattered around the floor of the big bedroom. She could easily tell the clothes belonged to both her and Choi Seung-Hyun as she saw her dress at the far end of the room. Luckily, Choi Seung-Hyun's shirt was on the edge of the bed. Reaching over, she took the shirt and pulled it over her body.
Jang Mi threw the silk blankets off her body and stood up off the bed. She made her way towards the bathroom that was connected to the room. She hesitated before turning and looking at herself in the mirror. She sighed in relief that her face wasn't bruised or cut, knowing that it has happened before. However, she cringed at seeing the mess of her hair on top of her head. She looked like she harvested small families of birds in her hair.
She sighed and exited the bathroom. Jang Mi walked quietly to the door that she asumed would lead her some where that would get her answers to the one question that was running crazily in her mind.
"What happened last night?" She muttered under her breath.
Turning the door knob, she walked out. The walls were white but no pictures hung up. It wasn't until she found her way into the living room, where a huge picture of Seungri hung above the fireplace. She let out a sigh of relief, knowing she hadn't broken into some rich family's home while they were away.
Jang Mi raised an eye at how trashed the living area was. Plastic cups, bottles upon bottles, cans upon cans, and lots of rubbish, scattered the floor in Seungri's living room. She wasn't surprised to see her brother sleeping half naked on the floor. He however wore the gloves he usually wears during a fight. She had no idea why her brother was wearing them or how he even got them.
On the couch sleeping sound asleep was Seungri. His attire wasn't any better than what Ji Hoon wore. In fact it was worst. He wore a black cocktail dress along with stockings. His hair tied into two small pigtails. Jang Mi didn't even want to start on the heavy makeup on his face. Daesung was sleeping behind the couch, she could see half of his body sticking out from behind. Jang Mi had to double check to see if he's breathing. He is.
There were other people on the floor. It was Bom and Minzy. Bom wore her PJs that Jang Mi saw her wearing when she arrived in Hyorin's apartment. While it was hard to tell what Minzy wore since she wrapped in a bundle of blankets. Where they laid cuddled up to one another, had no rubbish. Almost like someone pushed the rubbish aside so Bom and Minzy had a clear area to sleep on. Bom also had someone's blazer covering her body as she slept on a small couch pillow. While Minzy had her own blankets and a regular size pillow.
Jang Mi folded her arms across her chest, and made her way to the kitchen. She scoffed at the scene before her. It was worst than Seungri's living room. Trash scattered the counters, as well as food containers, pots, bottles upon bottles and cans upon cans, all over the counters and the floors.
Ji Yong slept on the island. He wore his exact outfit that he wore to the bachelor party. His shades still covering his eyes and his shoes still gracing his feet, not caring about Korean etiquette about taking shoes off before entering. He lay in a fetal position all while hugging bottles of wine.
On the dining room table, Dara and CL cuddled up. They were literally laying on the table. They had blanket laid over the table as they slept on it. They also had pillows and a blanket over them. They looked comfortable.
Jang Mi walked out of the kitchen and into another room. Young Bae and Hyorin slept on the bed. Fully clothed. They were hugging each other tightly as they slept.
Jang Mi started to panic when she hadn't seen Ji Soo. She ran down the hall, to the last room and swung the door open. The bed was messy but there was nobody in it. There was also nobody in the bathroom. She rushed back out and down the hall. She went into the living room and scanned again. But she finally breathed a breath of relief when the front door opened and Ji Soo walked in. Jang Mi ran up to him and checked his body like a mom would after her son went missing for more than a day.
"Are you alright? Why were you just walking in? Where were you? Are you hurt anywhere?" She asked in one breath.
Ji Soo shook his head. "Noona, I'm fine. I went out to take the rubbish. I took out three bags full and the house still looks like a mess."
Jang Mi sighed a breath of relief. "Thank god." She said but looked at him. "What happened last night?"
Ji Soo chuckled. "You won't believe it." He walked over to an open couch and patted the seat next to him. "It's a long story."
Jang Mi sat next to him. "Okay explain. Why are the girls and guys together?"
Ji Soo chuckled. "Unknowingly, we all ended up at the same club for the bachelor and bachelorette party. The guy that rang the bell was a chaebol for a rich company, which the club we went to was one of its branching locations. He spiked all of the drinks! Since I was drinking out of cans of soda, I didn't get spiked."
Jang Mi shook her head in shock. "We were drugged?"
"Yeah, I was pretty worried. But in the middle of everything, this guy was dancing with Hyorin, and Young Bae got into a fight at the club because of it. That wasn't the only fight that happened. Some girl was hitting on Hyung-nim and when you saw that, you beat her up. Hyung-nim had to pull you off of her."
Jang Mi sat there mouth opened as she looked at her knuckles. "I didn't even noticed my bruised knuckles."
"Yeah, everyone at the club was spiked. The girl called the cops to report you but when they all came, I had to rush and shove all of you guys into the limo that us guys came in. If the cops found out I was underage but got in with the members of Big Bang that wouldn't do too good on anyone's reputation." He said getting off track. "Anyways, so we were heading to Seungri's house. Meanwhile at the club, nobody was held accountable for the spiked drinks except for the guy who rang the bell. There was no proof of any of us entering the club because that rich kid who got arrested shut off all the cameras inside the club as well as outside. The only proof of the people who got in were through the front entrance. Last night you told me you guys had used the back entrance like we had used."
"That doesn't explain how the house looks like this." Jang Mi said pointing around the living room.
Ji Soo nodded. "Last night you acted sober. Like you weren't even drugged. You were helping me unload the people from the limo into Seungri Hyung's house. Then you told me to drive to our house and pack extra clothes. Enough for all the girls to wear." Ji Soo said. "When I came back, the house was crowded with people I've never seen before. Seungri was wearing Park Bom Noona's dress while singing a 2ne1 song. Bom noona did Seungri hyung's makeup and hair. I was gone for an hour. I don't know who invited all these people, but everyone came with drinks and food. Since Seungri Hyung's house is sound proof, none of the neighbors knew of the party until the door would open for people to walk in but then suddenly close."
Jang Mi looked over at Seungri who was still laying on the couch. "Now I see the dress. The dress does look like the one Bom unni wore." Than Jang Mi looked at Ji Soo. "How did everyone leave?"
Ji Soo clasped the bridge of his nose with his thumb and pointer. "It took me an hour to get all of them out."
"Why is Ji Hoon oppa dressed like that?" Jang Mi asked.
"Ji Hoon Hyung was trying to show off to Park Bom Noona his fighting skills. However, he punched Park Bom Noona's hand bag out of her hand, spilling all her food out of it. She turned to Ji Hoon Hyung and cried for hours. They sat on the floor, where he made a clearing for her, comforting her."
Jang Mi raised an eyebrow. "Wait. Ji Hoon oppa has feelings?" Jang Mi asked.
"Are you not surprised by the fact that Bom Noona had a purse full of food and she cried when it spilt or is that normal?" Ji Soo asked.
Jang Mi waved him off. "No, it's normal with her."
"Well, Chaerin Noona and Dara Noona were well behaved. Meaning Dara Noona was running around crazy while Chaerin Noona chased after her. She was trying to jump into the pool out the back. Chaerin noona had to hold her until they both passed out."
Jang Mi raised a brow. "How did they end up on the table?"
"I woke up Chaerin Noona and she fixed their bed on the table. She was still high off the drugs because she kept scolding me about having no blankets to cover the bed." Ji Soo gave Jang Mi a dead pan face. "She was talking about the table." He shook his head. "Then she made me carry Dara noona. She's much heavier than she looks."
Jang Mi chuckled. "Even high she's bossy." She sighed. "What about Ji Yong?"
"He stayed on the counter all night. Drinking. He was singing songs to himself. I had to keep checking up on him but he said he was writing songs in his head. I'm sure he won't remember any of those songs." Jang Mi chuckled.
"Okay, what about Seung-Hyun and me?" Jang Mi asked.
Ji Soo shook his head in annoyance. "You guys argued. The whole way from the club to Seungri Hyung's house. When you were helping me take the people in, you guys were arguing."
"From what I'm wearing, I'm sure we weren't arguing that long." Jang Mi said. "Wait! What were we arguing about?"
"About the fact that you were at a club and you didn't tell him. You told him that he was at a club and he didn't tell you. But he seemed more high off the spiked drinks than you were. He was crying. You guys were really the worst of the bunch."
Jang Mi sighed at Ji Soo's explanation. "Wait. What time is it?" Jang Mi asked.
Ji Soo checked his wrist watch. "It's nine. Almost ten."
"Oh. My. Gosh." Jang Mi said shooting out of the seat and hyperventilating.
"Noona, what? What's wrong?" He said panicking.
"Today is the wedding. My wedding!" She yelled causing the bodies in the living room to stir. "We were supposed to be at the venue, getting ready!" Jang Mi said pacing the floor.
Hyorin came out of the room, wearing a similar attire to Jang Mi, except, it belonged to Yong Bae. Who walked up besides her with a bruised cheek and a cut up lip. He wrapped an arm around Hyorin's shoulder. Both of them staring at Jang Mi curiously. It took Hyorin a moment before finally being able to register the exact situation.
"Jang Mi, calm down!" Hyorin said, leaving Young Bae's side to tend to the panicking bride. "We still have plenty of time." She says.
"Everyone is still sleeping!" She pointed out.
It didn't take long before Hyorin went through out the house waking everyone up. Ji Yong found her extra annoying in the morning. Especially since he was harvesting a heavy hangover from his excessive intake on alcohol when high off of drugs, which he didn't recall. A side effect from the drug. The members of 2ne1 were alright at getting woken up. Park Bom was on the search for her purse, not caring that a wedding was taking place soon. Ji Hoon claimed to be awake but stayed on the floor, laying face down due to embarrassment from the lack of clothes and memories. Seungri was shocked at his appearance. When Park Bom saw him wearing her dress, she forced him out of it, leaving him standing in just boxers, ponytails and a heavy load of makeup. Meanwhile, Choi Seung-Hyun was left for Jang Mi to wake up since he was always known to be the hardest of all Big Bang members to wake.
Jang Mi sighed and made her way to the bedroom she was sleeping in, next to her husband. She had to stop the urge that she wanted to just stand in the doorway and admire his flawless back from afar. He was indeed shirtless like she had last seen him when she woke up. She couldn't help but drool over the muscles in his back. She just found him so sexy, and he was all hers. She slowly walked over the bed, seeing his body moving as he took in breaths of air. She could hear those soft snores she loved waking up to. The silk sheet covered his bottom half but left the top half exposed. Jang Mi took a seat next to him and folded her legs to her chest. She reached out a hand and patted his shoulder. He didn't even flinch. Jang Mi tried to shake him with one small push against him. It caused him to stir.
Choi Seung-Hyun could feel her cold small hands pushing against his shoulders, shaking him lightly. He peeked with one eye and scanned as much as he could, without moving his body. He hadn't moved his body until a thought hit him, he wasn't with his wife last night. He was wondering why he was in Seungri's room. Choi Seung-Hyun could see his pants laying on the floor. It was obvious he was shirtless. Whoever it was next to him, he had hoped he didn't do anything he'd regret. He couldn't remember a thing. Slowly, he looked over his shoulder but sighed as he saw the ring, gracing Jang Mi's finger, as her hand lay on her lap.
"Babe, wake up." Jang Mi said in English, which was becoming a habit.
Choi Seung-Hyun groaned. "What happened last night?" He slowly sat up.
His eyes widen as he took in the sight before him. Jang Mi, no longer with her legs to her chest, she sat with her legs under her as she sat on her knees. Choi Seung-Hyun's white long sleeve button up shirt, was worn by his wife. Her hair was messy but still made his heart thump at how attractive she was at the moment. Her eyes stared at him innocently, like she didn't know what she was doing to him.
"Seung-Hyun..." Jang Mi started but was cut off by Choi Seung-Hyun attacking her lips. Jang Mi melted into the kiss like every time he kissed her but she pushed him away as one thought lingered on her mind. "You taste like alcohol and burp."
Choi Seung-Hyun chuckled. "I could say the same for you."
Jang Mi rolled her eyes. "Seung-Hyun-ah, our wedding...." she trailed off.
Choi Seung-Hyun looked like he was hit with a hammer over his head. "Aish." He said clicking his tongue. "What happened last night?"
Jang Mi shook her head. "It's a long stroy."
"Were you crying? Your eyes are slightly puffy. Who made you cry?" Choi Seung-Hyun said grabbing her chin and turning her head every which way in observation.
Jang Mi whacked his hand away from her face. "Could you stop! Our wedding is today and we're supposed to be at the hall already."
Choi Seung-Hyun shrugged. "I'm already married to you. If we're late, everyone is just going to have to wait for us."
Jang Mi glared at him and whacked his arm lightly. "I'm serious." She said sternly.
Choi Seung-Hyun sighed and sat right in front of her. "My baby." He smiled warmly towards her while cupping her cheeks. "I'm happy we're married. You're mine and I'm yours. Everything that will go wrong today, will not change the fact that we are already one." He pecked her lips feeling her relax against him. "We're doing this for the public eye. The only reason why I agreed to get married yesterday at court was because I couldn't wait to have you as my wife and I didn't care if that was through the government or through an expensive wedding hall. I love you and nothing will change that."
Jang Mi pouted at his sweet words. "You mean that?"
"More than my life." He said. "Now, let's go and get ready for the wedding."
.....
I wrote this chapter like this because I wanted a plot twist. A way of remembering someone's pre-wedding party is not to remember anything at all. I hope you guys like it!
I can't believe it's almost done! Remember, I'm working on the G-Dragon fanfic. It will be posted along side the last chapter of President Yang's Request: TOP
